Brave (2012)
10/10
The Best Animated Movie of the Year
28 June 2012
Pixar does it again with Brave. Brave is the story of a young princess named Merida who is unhappy with the way things are mainly because of her overly controlling mother who wont let her have any freedom. the animation is amazing as always with pixar movies and i think its better than ever in brave. i literally almost wet myself laughing because this movie was straight up hilarious. its nice that for once there is a female lead in a pixar movie which i think opens up a lot of doors for pixar. im not gonna spoil the movie for you but you will not be disappointed. you will be cringing, crying, laughing and just having a great time. the best thing about this movie is that you do not know what is going to happen or what you're in for. you might think that you know whats going to happen next but you seriously wont expect what you are about to see. i guarantee you once you see this movie you're gonna want to see it over and over again. i give it a ten !

The Best One Yet!
14 April 2012
I just got back from seeing this movie and i am so glad that i did. i am a huge American pie fan and fans will not be disappointed. this movie brings back everything you loved from the first movies and it is just soo awesome and it was worth the wait. all of your favorite characters are back and better than ever and the storyline is great along with some very clever and outrageously clever scenes. Another thing i loved about this movie was that not only was it true to the original in bringing it all back but it totally bashes this generation and kids today along with facebookers and current music. i strongly recommend that everyone goes to see it because you will wet yourself laughing and walk out of there with a big painful smile on your face.

Prom Night (I) (2008)
1/10
It had such Potential...but came out Horribly Wrong!!!!
15 February 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I really did have high hopes for this movie because i thought the storyline was really good and fresh. A teacher who becomes so obsessed with a student that he murders her whole family so that they can be together and then he comes back three years later on her prom night and makes mayhem for the students.... that is really run and interesting.....but when i watched it i was severely disappointed. the death scenes were really badly shot and they cut off too quickly, the climax of the film was so very disappointing, the special effects were cheap and the acting was repulsive. Usually you can find at least one good thing about every movie but there is nothing good about this movie...even if there is nothing else on TV, don't watch this movie...you will regret it!!!

Some Movies Just Aren't Meant to be Remade!
13 February 2012
The Original "whatever happened to baby jane" was such a classic. it can be considered a timeless classic but trying to make it all modernized just ruins it. this film was completely unnecessary. At least in the early 1960s, they were able to pull this kind of a story off because of the camera angles and the character types. but this film is just annoying especially with the closeup camera angles and the cheap cinematography, and baby jane looks like a clown. the performances were weak by the redgrave sisters, they looked like they did not know what they were doing at all. plus in the original movie, Jane plays a revenge trick on blanche by putting a bird followed by a dead rat on her cover tray which is one of the most famous scenes in all of horror history, in this film, it is a sandwich with worms on it followed by really dramatic music and then cuts off to the next scene..that was not fun at all and nowhere near as exciting as the original....there is absolutely no point in watching this movie so stick with the original classic!

Doubt (I) (2008)
10/10
The Best Acting I've Ever Seen
2 February 2012
Doubt is a must see movie and you do not have to be a religious Christian to enjoy it. Every Shot of Meryl Streep, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola Davis is Flawless and Oscar Worthy. The Dialogue is incredible, you will never be bored because these characters have so much to bring to the screen. the storyline is great and it was during a time when nuns had no say in anything and for two of them to take down a priest single handedly is unforgettable. Meryl Streep is amazing as the tough but fair Sister Aloicious, Amy Adams is brilliant as the naive and innocent Sister James as well as Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the denying priest and Viola Davis, for a character with 8 minutes of screen time gives a memorable performance that completes a near perfect film. the film will make you question, Do you believe Sister Aloicious or do you think Father Flynn is innocent?

Work It: Pilot (2012)
Season 1, Episode 1
7/10
Pretty Funny Show
5 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
OK, there are so many movies out there where men disguise themselves as women for whatever reason. such as to see their kids, to get an acting job, fbi agents going undercover, to get a good job or to hide from the mob. but there has never been an actual TV show with that plot line. So i was interesting in seeing how they did it with this show and it looks pretty promising. They only just released the pilot episode and it centers on 2 unemployed best friends who dress up as women to take jobs at an all womens drug place since they need jobs and wont hire any men. the first episode was actually really funny and i cant wait to see more of the crazy situations these men dressed as women get into.its filled with good natured humor and i hope this show lasts a while. i would give it a 7 out of 10 because its a lot better than most of the crap on television today.

Marmaduke (2010)
1/10
Ridiculously Predictable and Not at all Entertaining!
6 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Since this is a Kids movie I didn't expect it to be any good. and I was right. the CGI is obvious. the storyline has been used so many times in so many other movies. when i watched this, (against my will) i could tell exactly what was going to happen as the movie played. first there was an unhappy troublemaking dog who moves to a new town, meets a bunch of new friends and enemies. Thinks hes in love with a collie yet ends up being with the "best friend" and the enemies became friends and everyone lives happily ever after! WOW, this is like that dumb kids movie Max Keebles Big Move and every Disney channel original movie that there ever was. Marmaduke is just not worth your time or money or common sense so watch something else, something that doesn't have Owen Wilson in it

Terrifying!!! One Hell of a Fun Movie!!!
26 June 2011
Just the title itself is scary. The People Under The Stairs is another Masterpiece by Wes Craven! It really is an unpredictable, suspenseful, exciting, scary, smart, and original horror movie that will have you digging your nails into the person next to you when you watch it. the acting is very good having two children, a boy and a girl, as the lead characters and the main victims of a psychotic couple. when i first heard about this movie i had no idea what to expect and as i was watching it i still didn't know what to expect because everything was just so unpredictable, in a good way. you don't usually hear too much about this movie even though you should because it is one of the few horror movies that is actually done the right way, in a clever way. but in my opinion, The People Under the Stairs is THE horror movie to see!

She-Devil (1989)
10/10
A Hilarious movie that is underrated
23 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
So many things are overrated in the media. but She-Devil is a really good movie that is underrated. Roseanne is awesome as a woman seeking revenge on her two timing husband and his rich mistress romance novelist and comes up with some pretty awesome schemes to give them what they deserve. what she does in this movie changes the lives of everyone. its like Mean Girls and John Tucker Must Die for adults. anyone who has been cheated, rejected, backstabbed or lied to will appreciate this movie and fans of Roseanne and Meryl Streep will absolutely love this movie. its a smart, dark, inspirational movie and a great way to end the 80s.

Mamma Mia! (2008)

Meryl Streep will have you dancing in the isles
23 June 2011
The Smash hit musical sensation on Broadway comes to the big screen in an amazing way with an all star cast including Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, COlin Firth and many more. Mamma Mia is one of the happiest movies I've ever seen. it puts you in such a good mood and it is so Real and so energetic, and Abba is a great band and seeing their songs in a movie with a story built around it is one of the most clever ideas ever! A lot of people will criticize the movie but don't listen to it because it really is one hell of a good time. and it isn't a chick flick like many people think! it is a movie that everyone will love and there's something in it for all types of people! in my opinion a five star movie!

The Greatest Movie Of This Generation, and Way better than the original
23 June 2011
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the most original, most outrageous, creative, funny, and clever stories ever told. it was so well done. the scenery was amazing! Thanks to Tim Burton. the cast is Great, Johnny Depp is the perfect Willy Wonka, and the Nasty children are so awesome. and don't let anyone convince you that it isn't good or it ruins the original because this one is way better. it is so true to the book, unlike the original and it just beats the original in every way and every other fantasy movie. Charlie and the chocolate factory is the perfect movie because it isn't a heartwarming story and it isn't meant to be. it is a dark comedy that is brutally entertaining. If your gonna see a movie, see this one!

Scream 4 (2011)
10/10
The Ultimate Scream Movie!!!
23 June 2011
Scream was A Historic Movie, Scream 2 was the Perfect Sequel and Scream 3 Concluded the Greatest Horror Trilogy of all time. Them Came Scream 4 and it was the absolute perfect addition to the Series. It wasn't stupid and jumpy like most horror movies today. it brought back the things that scared us in scream and combined it with things that scare us today. it was extremely well written thanks to Kevil Williamson and it was intensely Frightening thanks to Wes Craven. Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are Back and better than ever. Emma ROberts, Hayden Pannetiere and Rory Culkin were a great addition to the cast and they all give grade A performances as teens in WOodsboro. If you love Classic Horror Movies that are terrifying, fun, and clever, then you will love Scream 4
