Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
Way over-rated
No name actors with extremely poor acting skills. The action is sporadic at best and the CGI is limited. They do too much of talking about the ex actor and focus less on the actual new path of the "country". They do want include some other civilizations... but all they manage is to copy the Avatar idea. Extremely disappointing to see such lack of innovation, but then again, with such a low grade writer and director. The only people who actually might deserve their pay are the ones from the CGI department. However, the low budget they were given is clearly seen in their work outcome. Anyway... for 8 bucks to see a 2 h story about "colonization"... let's see is better than staying home.
Mai Neim (2021)
Loved it
Great show. The binge it all time of show. Korea has a lot of good actors and the "Kolywood" is increasing in popularity from month to month. Acting is good. Pace is good. The storyline is somehow classic and I do admit I would have wished for a more "happy ending" for the FL as I feel she deserved it. Regardless, I see myself watching again this show in a few months.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Great movie
Another game style type of movie from Korea.
Great acting. Storyline good.
The only reason I give it a 9 is because of it gets too many 10s one crazy rich guy out there might find it inspirational to start this type of game in real life.
Mr. Iglesias (2019)
Too political
It feels like watching a DNC reunion where Squad is trying to be funny. Too many analogies to "crisis" moments. If they consider Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet" to be inappropriate language... I feel sorry for current and future generations
Legacies (2018)
Classic Teenage Show but with poor acting
Though I liked the story and the concept of the show, I often found myself irritated by the poor acting... and not only one person, but several. However, I got to say that Aria's acting was the worst I've ever seen for a "main character"... surely they could have found someone with more natural acting skills. I surely hope they will find the power to change him, if future seasons will be aired.
Assimilate (2019)
Above OK
Interesting movie. The acting was mediocre, but the story went well. Minimal special effects which can give you a clear sense of the low budget allocated for this movie. Still, I liked it overall and for a 6 pm Nerflix type of movie, I feel like a well spent 1.5 h of my life after a boring day at work :)
Joker (2019)
A boring cliché
Though I understand the idea behind the movie, somehow is impossible not to express my disappointment as I strongly believe those were 2 hours wasted of my life.
Clearly is not an action movie but more of a psychological one. A lot of "daddy issues" with a guy who refuses to go and find help for his mental disability.
He goes on and blames society for him not being able to face reality and seek help. Always is easier to blame others than yourself.
Shingeki no Kyojin (2013)
Good, but not great
I just finished watching the entire 1st season (in only one day), so that can say a great deal about the script behind this anime. Yeah... the script is very interesting, well written. It has that "touch" of curiosity required by any decent anime. But... when it comes to graphics... it's an entire other story. For a 2013 production... I was expecting a much much higher quality of the scenes, of the special effects, of the face details... and especially of the monsters... Common people... is this for real? When I look the giants I'm remembering my anatomy classes from high school... Most of them look like they were painted by 10 y.o. children... and in some fight scenes, their graphics is in total contrast with the background... The generic... is too long, but the music is very catchy.
