Bonanza (1959–1973)

Little Joe's laugh.

Fun show from the past but OMG...Little Joe's laugh sounds like a chittering squirrel. Very annoying and seems terribly phony. I find myself wondering if he was ever embarrassed by that. The series was mostly likeable but a few bad episodes. I have also wondered if Pernell Roberts ever regretted leaving the show. I wouldn't be surprised if the networks pulled this show because of the current ridiculous trend of cancel culture (referencing Hop Sing.) All in all it brings a bit of nostalgia for me because I have memories of simpler times when you watched television for entertainment and sheer enjoyment.

I do not like or respect the character of Kate. A very disturbed, narcissistic human being. Maybe in future episodes she will have a child and make an effort to understand her mother. Also she might try to save her own life and make a a real effort to lose some weight. I hope so.

Loved the series. I think casting was excellent and I loved all of the actors who portrayed their characters so beautifully. However, I found Cliff to be irritating and hard to watch. I did not like that character at all. Not the fault of the actor however.

I love kids but Theo is beyond unrealistic and also hard to watch. Please get rid of this character. I am sure he is a good acter but very annoying in this series. I hate to be hard on him but watching his character is almost sickening. I am pretty sure I am not the only one who has this opiniin.

I used to like this series...alot. But all good things must come to an end. Season 17 is really, really bad. We are so tired of being manipulated by the media, we sure don't need it from television series. Put this show and it's viewers out of the painful misery of continuing, please!

My gosh!! They went way too far. You couldn't have at least one of the "heroes" be white? And maybe at least one of the "awful police" be of color? This is what throws fire on racism. I am appalled. Last show of this series I will ever watch.

Didn't take it There were some good points in the episode but why didn't they take the opportunity to address the fact that the rioting and looting accomplishes nothing but fanning the flames of a volatile racial issue? I am sick of one sided representations of the complicated issues. Done with this show.

Started off great but now I am into season 2 episode 5. All characters are knee deep in self pity, narcissism and depressing situations without any fight to climb out. Come on, lighten up a bit!!!!
