Absolutely loved loved this movie & you will not be disappointed! So happy Jack Synder was able to release his version of Justice League! Even tho it is 4 hrs long, it doesn't seem that long as the movie flows brilliantly. Great acting & CGI effects that leaves you wanting more! Without giving away the ending, the movie eludes that fans of DC, in particular J.Synder's DC movies, we may be in store for more @ some point in the future. One can only hope, but in the meantime, enjoy this ride! Tks DC, J.S. and HBO MAX!

Joaquin is brilliant & totally embodies the character

My rating is not based upon Joaquin Phoenix's acting which I've already said was brilliant! He should win an Oscar & Golden Globe hopefully. However the movie was so dark & when Arthur becomes The Joker, some of the scenes made me uncomfortable & hard to watch. I truly emphasized w/his character @ first as people can be so cruel & there may be a part of each of us who want to get back at people who hurt us etc. but those of us who want to make the world a better place, don't mistreat people in the 1st place. But unfortunately people who have been abused in 1 form or another who don't get the help they need turn into criminals & psycho's especially as children like "The Joker." It's sad & what makes it even worse is that the misfits of the world and/or people who have mental illness w/o insurance or money, get left behind which the movie brings out.
All of that aside, it truly is the best Joker since Heath Ledger & I liked how it explained in better detail why the character becomes The Joker & how it sets up for later down the road, "Batman vs The Joker." Definitely is a movie you can't miss but not for children under 13.

I liked both Seasons but really enjoyed S2 more giving it a 10 & rated S1 a 8! I knew from history class that Japanese Americans were sent to internment camps but had no idea how badly they were actually treated & not trusted. I wasn't familiar w/the Asian (mainly Japanese) actors except for George Takei but was pleasantly surprised the caliber of their acting! The other actors also gave an excellent performance. The supernatural elements gave both stories a great twist & added a lot of flavor to the show. Both seasons, episodes 1 & 2 may be a little slow for some people, (not me) but they are laying the ground work for the shows. I sure hope there will be a Season 3!!! Tks to Ridley Scott, David Zucker & other producers for both seasons for bringing "Terror" to the screen!

In spite of what a lot of other people say, I thought it was excellently made with a lot of twists & turns. It's about a widow, Kate, who thinks she sees her husband in a clip on the news who has been reported dead for 3 yrs but body never found. She goes on a quest to see if he is possibly alive & exactly what happened. Nothing is what it seems, her life is put in danger along w/friends who help in her quest for the truth. I figured out several conspiracies but the show keep me intrigued as you discover the corrupt agendas of the govt & people involved as the story plays out. You also see the deplorable side of the Congo rebels or milita killing innocents while they kidnap the children training them to be killers for their cause or just be the hired help. It's a suspenseful journey for truth & justice not just for the widow but for the oppressed!

Got better w/each episode

At 1st I wasnt sure about the show but decided to give it a couple more episodes before giving up on it. Glad I did as the storyline has gotten more suspenseful w/each episode, especially E4 & 5 which revealed a lot of secrets! The acting has gotten better too. I didn't watch the original so that might be another reason I like it better. So give it a try & know it gets better w/each episode.

Naomi is a badass bodyguard & movie deserves @ least 8 rating

Don't know if those people watched the same movie I did that gave it 5 or less! Naomi plays an awesome bodyguard who was also a solider @ some pt in her life so knows has excellent skills! The rich heiress plays her part well & learns from her bodyguard as movie goes on. Kept me on edge of my seat after 1st part of movie & had me fooled who was behind the kidnapping. Definitely worth watching.

I've just gotten into watching K-dramas & love them! My first was Mr. Sunshine on Netflix & it was awesome! So I came across "Black" on Netflix & decided to give it a try. Well worth watching as it has a little bit of e'thing from drama, thriller, fantasy & light comedy occasionally! Plus main actors are easy on the eyes! It takes place in our century, about a grim reaper who temporarily becomes human. It has murder, romance & some of the fantasy/supernatural element to the story. I couldn't wait for the next episode & watched the whole season in 5 days!

I'm not sure why so many people are giving the show a rating between 8-10 as the pace of the show was so slow! I kept nodding off during Ep2. Yes Hayes character is dark, troubled and doesn't get along w/his partner. There are racial undertones between the 2 partners. All that said, this season has a lot of potential & I will watch 1-2 more episodes to see if it gets better. It will be hard to match S1 w/Matthew & Woody which was by far the best!

Personally gave this 9/10 stars as I loved Jason's take on Aquaman & the visual effects of the movie. Sure there were a few scenes that were a little cheesy but that didn't bother me compared to the action of the movie, Jason's acting & visual effects as I mentioned. Amber Heard's character was a good match to Aquaman & thought Patrick Wilson pulled off being the villain! I couldn't think of another actor who could have played Aquaman any better than Jason Momoa! He definitely pulls off the fight scenes & shows the right amount of emotion during his talking parts. Of course he has the perfect body to wear those tight suits! The visual effects created beautiful colors of the sea life & makeup people did great job doing their thing on the actors who weren't human. Overall DC is back & I cant wait to see an Aquaman sequel! So people you need to stay when the credits start to roll as halfway thru them there is a post-credit scene which sets the tone for a sequel.

My husband & I loved the movie. We are Marvel Comic fans & love most of their movies! However we have not read the Venom comics so we didn't have any particular expectations. Tom Hardy is 1 of my fav male actors & thought he did an excellent job of playing his character Eddie and Venom! Has some humor, few scary scenes & lots of action. Be sure to stay after the movie for a quick scene of the next upcoming Venom movie.

I previously wrote a review rt after the pilot & at the time I was skeptical about the show but was willing to watch 1-2 more episodes to give it another chance. Fortunately it has gotten better particularly ep3. I love Misty Perrigrine & Sela Ward so will stick w/the show this season.

I love Missy Peregyrm, especially in Rookie Blue (which should still be on) so hoping the writers give her character more to work with in upcoming episodes as well as the supporting actors. Otherwise I don't think the show will make it! So @ this pt I'm willing to give it 1-2 more episodes to watch before I totally make up my mind. Btw she is also great in Van Helsing which starts back on SCFY 10/5, so if this show doesn't make it & you like Missy you can see her on that show.
