Resident Evil (2022)
2/10
Makes every other RE movie seem great.

Like many others, I'm a fan of the franchise. While I don't believe that Welcome to Raccoon city or the Paul Anderson movies are good, I still had fun watching them for what they are.

This simply has zero redeeming qualities. Unlikable cast, mediocre acting, extremely poor writing, pacing is all over the place, soundtrack isn't good either.

It's very surprising that someone greenlit this. I couldn't get past the 4th episode, it's the first RE related media that I decided to quit halfway.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

KILL la KILL (2013–2014)

Quite nice

If you happen to like anime like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan or FLCL, this looks like another show for you. Quick pacing, weird(and nice) shonen parody humor and everything seems to be way over the top. Five episodes in, I am already enjoying the story, although you can clearly tell that the focus is not there.

The main selling point of this show is mostly it's animation, which, as usual with TV shows it gets a bit worse after the first episode. But it still very solid. You will find yourself pausing many times just to see clearly a chaotic shot up close. All in all, i recommend Kill La Kill, especially for fans of quick paced, weird anime like the ones i mentioned before.

Misfits (2009–2013)

Its just awesome

When my friend told me to watch it, I was reluctant at first. I have seen too many bad series with superheroes, Heroes being the most recent. This one delivers where Heroes fails: Witty, smart, awesome writing and dialogues. The cast is very good and the characters, through their flaws, seem like they exist in real life. This series proved that the superheroes genre does not really need awesome special effects and long action scenes and fights to succeed but a good dose of humor and realism. Thumbs up. My only thing I am not fond of is the fact that the seasons are small (6-7 episodes each) leaving me in a long wait wanting more.

Mad Love (2011)
7/10
Definitely not bad

I just finished watching the pilot of this series and i must say i found it entertaining. It certainly has a "How I Met your Mother" kinda feeling maybe a bit too much and some of the jokes were predictable, but at the end i found myself thinking that i would watch the next one if i had it right now. And that's what comedy shows should do. Entairtain you for 30 minutes. Since that's the case here, I'd say this shows meets my expectations.

I also happen to be a huge fan of Sarah Chalke and Judy Greer and I would love to see more of them in this show. Labine and Biggs are doing a good job as well and this quartet seems to have some chemistry. Looking forward for some more.
