Ready or Not (2019)
Rating is 6.8?? How?? I feel betraid!
It is not a great movie, but it entertain. A lot of things make no sence, a lot of cliches, you always can figure out what is going to happen next. But the premise is good. And it could have made a great story. But it rappidly lost the logic and you start questening a lot of things. Anyaway, its entertains you and makes you laught. It looks like a low budget movie and some of the actors are knowed but it seems like they made this movie just out of choice. And you "buy it" but then you realise "oh, so you career its pretty much over, right?". After all and besides many, many, MANY questions, one of the biggest is just "how in the hell can she survive and do all those things with that damaged hand?". You can say "survival instinct". But... really? Really? Could you really say that? And I'm not even going to talk about the end. The end it's just a big joke and a big "what the fu***?"
One Chance (2013)
Amazing!
What an amazing movie! What an amazing story! If you like autobiographical films you definitely need to see this!
Burnt (2015)
A good surprise
It was really a pleasant surprise because I had very low expectations. I expected to see a chick flick to distract and not think about anything and that's why I ended up surprised and immersed in the story.
The Captive (2014)
Just.... don't!
Good premise. But it doesn't satisfy. The story is very confusing, it moves back and forth in time without changing the characterization of the characters. It seems that no character is deepened, no story is deepened and passes from one scene to another, without meaning. It doesn't capture attention. We just want to see it all the way out of curiosity. And the girl comes back, like it's nothing. Nor do they imply that there is trauma, because there is no time for that. The story runs over and when they want to tell everything they don't explain anything. All the characters are monotonous, have no personality or interest.
White Chamber (2018)
Just... why mas Ruth there????
Just one question: why was Ruth there?
She didn't know what the project was... if it was super secret, why risking on someone without knowing if she if going to agree??
yehh... i know... if it wasn't that the film would lost the twist!
Hotel Mumbai (2018)
Watch it!
I didn't know the full story, so it was very exciting to watch.
What an incredible film. It is so sad to realize that it is based on a true story. I cried in the end.
Some criticisms are ridiculous: sitting on the couch it is easy to say how we would have acted if we were us. But being afraid, hungry, thirsty, hot, wanting to go to the bathroom (yes!) And not knowing what's going on ... it's easier to be at home, enjoying the whole scene and criticizing. But in reality we wouldn't know how many snipers there are, where they are, whether the police are trying to get in, etc., etc.
Trial by Fire (2018)
A true story...
I didn't know the real story, so I was, until the end, wondering if he was innocent and if he had survived.
I really liked the movie.
The Hustle (2019)
Funny!
I didn't see the original, so i liked it.
i liked the little twist at the end, because i wasn't expecting it.
but at the very end, when they became friends... no!
Fixer Upper Mysteries: Concrete Evidence: A Fixer Upper Mystery (2017)
Ridiculous!
Terrible interpretation by actress Jewel. So many nonsense things:
- a corpse is discovered and the police don't send everyone out?
- does the woman who checks the corpse quickly draw conclusions as to how the injuries were done?
- are important results of the investigation spoken in the presence of entrails?
- the next day the house is already "free" to be able to continue the renovations?
- a woman is questioning everyone, seriously interfering with the police work and nothing happens?
- the attempt to incriminate the attack on the Cliff, based on the tool with a name ... ridiculous. And the police soon realize that it was on purpose (without any investigation !!)
- a man takes 20 stitches and goes home with some ice? And the hair is not shaved where are the points?
- the obvious romance?
- a corpse is discovered in a person's home and he dedicates himself to the investigation, just because yes?
