Alex Cross (2012)
Tyler Perry is NO actor and this was a pitiful farce
Tyler Perry might be funny if he hasn't worn out his shuck-n-jive shtick with "Madea" out completely with everyone but blacks, maybe even them. This movie was just awful. Even my foreign born wife who knows good movies thought it was horrible and funny. I am ashamed of Jean Reno even consenting to be cast in it, he is one of the great living actors in the world. The whole movie had great potential but became an intolerable disaster. And BTW, just how many wigs does Cicely Tyson have? At least three or four bad ones in this movie at least.
I would be embarrassed to have my name in the credits even if my face wasn't seen. I mean really...............Tyler Perry as a brilliant crime solving detective with intuition to boot and who is NEVER wrong? Give me a break "shugah chile".
Wanderlust (2012)
Is anyone here tired of Jennifer Anniston yet?
Tired of Jennifer this and Jennifer that. Her crap stinks like everyone else's does. If Jennifer was to do a nude scene like Monica Bellucci, Heather Graham or Charlotte Rampling does, then it might be worth seeing. Not gonna happen.
And Alan Alda, I mean ALANNNNNNNNNNNNN AWLDA with a pronounced nasal banality lilt, is enough to ruin any film. Who said he is talented and funny? He is a schmuck. Boring, snobbish, condescending aloofness, talks through his Yankee nose and just all around disgusting to hear and see on the screen.
Paul Rudd, he's funny. Too bad he's in this movie with Jennifer and Alannnnnnnnnnnn AWLDA.
Underworld: Awakening (2012)
Kate Beckinsale is great
If Kate had crawled through that ductwork nude with good lighting behind the camera, I would give it a 10. She is a great action star and beautiful to boot. Just as physical as Mila, Angelina, Uma, Linda H., Carrie Ann, Sigorney, Linda C., Halle, or a bevy of others; she is the hottest of the hot, like the Sun hot. The story never plays out old. Special effects are great. This is the kind of vampire movie people should pay money to see instead of the limp, wussy, pathetic Twilight garbage (although Ashley Greene is very very hot, like a slightly smaller sun). This is the kind of movie once on DVD, people buy it again and again with the whole series. Go see the movie, get some popcorn, a drink, sit back and enjoy the show and Kate doing her thing in a tight black jumpsuit with some great SCI-FI theatrics to boot.
Haywire (2011)
Like cold coffee served on a cold morning
This movie has some really talented actors (not actress), but it is a bad movie. The actress is no actress and when she replied to her "boss" in the movie that she was to serve as "eye candy", I thought what blind person would consider her hot? She ain't no Kate Beckinsale, Angelina Jolie, Linda Hamilton, Uma Thurman, Darryl Hannah or even Linda Carter. I've kicked better looking broads out of bed for eating crackers. She acts like she is made of cardboard or wood. She needs to stay in the MMA ring. She is out of her element and ability in a movie. Ewan McGregor is excellent as always, a treat to watch. I knew the entire plot from the moment I sat in a theater seat.
Red Tails (2012)
Terence Howard is the only good part to watch
Fiction and Hollywood History lesson coupled with ethnic movie bait. Too bad the really good black lead actors besides Terrence are all too old (Fishburne, Jackson, Freeman, Lindo). Just the same old stuff made to appeal to an ethnic audience hoping to find a hero of the same color in their race history. Better look elsewhere. This movie ain't about the real story. Viewers should be glad that the over rated and trite acting of Denzel Washington isn't forced on them in this movie. He is the same in all his roles lately. Same words, same predictability. But this is the same type of movie too. To our ethnic viewers and fans, go see a Morgan Freeman movie to see good entertainment and a role model man enough to be a hero.
Horrible Bosses (2011)
The title should be Horrible Movie
This movie is terrible, not funny, forced dialog, just bad all the way around. Only the presence of Kevin Spacey, Donald Sutherland and Jennifer Anniston merit any praise for being in it. The three protagonists are annoying, especially the one who Jennifer Anniston has such lust for (LIKE I'M GONNA BELIEVE THAT? NOT). They are poorly cast together.
It was the first movie I have walked out on in many years. I just could not tolerate the constant irritating little wussy smurf P. J. Byrne. He is just exasperating to watch and hear him speak.
This is the first time I have ever written about a movie on this website, but when I walked out and got into my vehicle I decided to tell others not to waste the money and time to go and see this terrible movie.
