The Monuments Men (2014)
Cozzy Flick
Just knowing that Hitler had stolen so much art and to see how much he destroyed made this movie worth wild. Although with the caliber of actors in the film , well just to say some Hollywood wood here and there could of picked up the pace and the roles of some of the characters. I think Matt Damon's character was padded a little to much. It took away from the story which is the search of stolen master pieces and to be returned to its rightful place and country. The pace is steady but slow in the parts mentioned. I wished the ending had a longer story to end the story. There's nothing to spoil here. but You know to write a story based on a true story, it should end with stuff like where are they now or passing or people or interviews of people who remember them. stuff like that.
Ted (2012)
Best Comedy Film of 2012
In a Comedy Film i only give 10s if laugh like I gotta pee from beginning to end. That being said.
This in the canvas that Seth MacFarlane needed set aside from TV. This merger of Universal Pictures and Seth MacFarlane will be known for making the BEST COMEDY FILM OF 2012.
They tried this type of comedy before with HOP but Universal Pictures was only able to do OK. Even though it was a Easter release. This is Different. It Looks Like a Teddy Bear but sounds like Family Guy with a Unrated mouth. I mean your gonna get a bit of everything. Kool Narration, a beginning, plot and a ending. Its a full package film
Great acting is seeing Mark Wahlberg (John Bennett)interact with ted like he was a actual human instead of a stuffed bear running with cgi graphic movements. You truly believe they are best buds for over 20 years. Mila Kunis is awesome as (Lori Collins)girlfriend to John. She too plays off the bear so nicely. You have to understand that when the actors act with ted, they are just talking to props or just air. Its like a Saturday Night Live skit that calls for two characters but your the only living actor.
You will laugh and you will cry from laughing so hard either way don't be without the thunder buddies in the movie ted.
I JUST WISH THEY WOULD SELL THE TEDDY BEAR :(
It looks like a Teddy Bear but talks like a Rated R movie Moms
Lola Versus (2012)
FRIENDS Rachel Green ewwwww
Don't try to wrap your brain around this movie you'll get a headache. Just know it's a pinch of THE OC, 90210 and Friends. Lola the creature of habit is about to find out that she needs to go out and create a new puzzle of life that she can add pieces too. The new generation nowadays its like passing around there ex's like a 5 foot subway sandwich with everyone getting a taste. I would say this would be for 18 to 30 female bracket. Guys would see the movie with their girl but it's not one guys are going to jump at. Lola makes a mistake in the beginning to try and make sense of here life and trying to make the best out of the pieces she has in making a puzzle.
Red Riding Hood (2011)
What Big Eyes You Have
The werewolf has been around the village of Daggerhorn for two generations. First, killing entire families then over the years the wolf was content with animal offerings. Tonight is the dawn of the Blood Moon and offerings are not enough anymore for the wolf. It wants more. Some of the villagers have sought the assistance of one Father Solomon (Gary Oldman) who is an expert in this field. Seems like the wolf is after Red Riding Hood (Amanda Seyfried) but she has a love, a protector named Peter (Shiloh Fernandez). "Under the blood moon, once bitten is a man cursed". Before the werewolf kills or turns all the people of Daggerhorn into werewolves it's a mad dash to find and kill this beast. A little slow at first but a good movie. I mean were looking at a kid's tale, a priest, a village, and a childhood sweetheart. PG-13 1 hr. 40 min. The attention goes back and forth between the Red Riding Hood and the wolf, not to mention the heartthrob of Red. That's where it lost it for me. But still entertaining 3 ½ stars out of 5

Mars Needs Moms (2011)
Martians Needs A Big Momma
Every so often a bunch of kids are born on mars. The supervisor (Mindy Sterling) has made a decision to steal moms from Earth. Their first target, Milo's house. Milo after an argument not to eat his broccoli finds himself telling his mom "his life would be better off without her". While asleep that night the Martians came and took Milo's mom. Before they could take off in their ship Milo manages to get inside the ship and go to mars with them. On mars he makes a great friend with a fellow human named Gribble (Dan Fogler). Willing to help them also is KI (Elisabeth Harnois). KI who is the assistant to the supervisor. It's a mad dash for Milo and his friends to save his mom from the martians. Love the Gribble and Ki. Fun and entertaining. Milo gets a little whinny. A big improvement from "Polar Express" but still I think the kids are gonna think the characters are creepy. 3 ½ stars out of 5
Jane Eyre (2011)
Governess
A lot of stuff has been done with this title but I like this one the best. The pace is not slow but not fast either and the corky one liners of humor makes this movie a comfortable and entertaining film to enjoy. Jane Eyre was hated by her aunt and was sent to a very strict boarding school, where a "time out" just means its a break from the teacher not to discipline you again. After leaving the school Jane (Mia Wasikowska) was employed at Thornfield Hall as a governess by a Mr Rochester (Michael Fassbender). While employed, a strong love yearning for one another begins to grow between Jane and Rochester. A secret of Rochester may rip them apart, leaving Jane the only love she has ever known. 4 stars out of 5 I review a movie on the Entertainment Experience. The Adjustment Bureau (2011)
Love's Change of Fate
David Norris (Matt Damon) is running for NY senator. It's November at Norris's campaign headquarters in NY. Losing a big lead in the polls because of a college prank video that went to the press, Norris decides to concede and goes off to the men's room to finish his speech. Surprised by Elise (Emily Blunt) who was hiding in the stall, the two fall into a soulmatic stare sealed with a kiss. Like they were born to be with each other. Interrupted by his campaign manager they part ways but later down the road they were reunited on a bus. A ride that was never suppose to happen. Arriving early at work, Norris discovers the Adjustment Bureau in his office. The Adjustment Bureau explains that being with Elise would seriously deviate from Norris's plan and that they can never meet again. A fresh story that isn't shelf stolen and original. 5 out of 5 stars I'm not a critic but I know what makes money and this movie is money

I Am Number Four (2011)
Smallville and Twilight Fusion
A evil alien race called Mogadorians attacked the planet Lorien killing everyone except 9 special Lorien Teens and their guardians. The teens escaped to Earth. The 9 can only be killed in sequence. These special Lorian teens each possess legacy powers. As they mature a new legacy is revealed but the Mog's have traced the teens to earth and they are now being hunted down one by one. One was killed in Malaysia, Two in England, and Three was murdered in Kenya. John is Number Four. Staying alive and finding the others is all that matters. You want to talk about a meal, how about a fusion of the Smallville formula and a sprinkle of Twilight. This movie has a little bit of both, just enough to capture all age groups in what I foresee a Healthy Franchise on the road for Success. I'm not a critic but I know what makes money and THIS IS MONEY. A must see and a 5 out 5 stars.
Drive Angry (2011)
Purgatory
Imagine seeing all the suffering on earth and not being able to do anything about it. This is hell. Especially if you're John Milton (Nicolas Cage). When John died his 16 year old daughter hung around the wrong people and she ended up in a cult. Later she married a Hippie tree hugging husband and they both had a baby girl. In comes Jonah King (Billy Burke) who steals her baby, and executes the couple in cold blood. John saw all this from hell and he breaks out of the underworld in a 1964 Buick Riviera. Not far behind comes the accountant from hell (William Fichtner) to bring Mr Milton back. Jonah King's plan is to sacrifice the baby at the next full moon to open the gates hell. John meets up with a waitress (Amber Heard) and they both run off to save his daughter. I liked it. Look it's a plate of steaks. Nothing fancy just meat. A A.D.D movie. Straight up shoot 'em up movie. 4 out 5 stars

Hilarious remedy for that day when you need your funny bone rattled. DO NOT LEAVE AT THE CREDITS. Watch the reverse mini-van. 5 out of 5 stars.

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (2011)
Once in a Blue Moon
Once in a blue moon a star arises. This blue moon starts in London, Canada in 1994 where Justin Bieber was born but was raised in Stratford, Ontario. Son of Pattie Mallette, who was just 18 at the time. A self taught musician, learning to play the piano, drums, guitar, and trumpet all on his own. By accident a former marketing executive of "So So Def" Scooter Braun found Justin's videos on Youtube.com. Very impressed by what he saw he tracked down Justin Bieber and this is their incredible story. Loved the here and now filming technique of the story. The floating slide show was brilliant and the real audience testimonies was superb. A Privilege to know that in my life time I witnessed the birth of another Blue Moon. A must see. 5 out of 5 stars
Gnomeo & Juliet (2011)
Finally a movie for the Kiddies
A forbidden love between Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt). 2 feuding garden gnome families living side by side had an unusual event occur. The kids of the leaders of each family fell in love. The only thing Gnomeo and Juliet ever wanted was to be with each other every waking moment. Based on Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet. It's rare that in this day and age a movie for kids are made without any adult sub topics that the kids wouldn't understand. This movie from head to toe is a enjoyable delight for 12 and under but I think the older kids like me will get a kick out of it too. I wouldn't expect anything less from the greatest place on earth people. Thank You Disney. 4 out of 5 stars.
Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011)
Momma Gonna Knock You Out
Don't need a momma to tell me this movie is funny. Trent's out of high school and he got a letter that he is accepted into Duke University. Trent would rather be a rapper by the name of Prodi-G. So one day he's approached by a record label but the contract needs a guardian's signature since he's only 17. Malcolm (Martin Lawrence) doesn't sign the paper since he thinks it would be better if Trent (Brandon T. Jackson) stays in school. So Trent follows Malcolm on a stake-out to see if he can force him to sign the record contract, but finds himself witnessing a murder by a Russian bad guy. Malcolm has a plan to hide the both of them until they catch the murder at the Georgia Girls School of the Arts. Hilarious. All around great comedy/crime story for all ages, but it is pg-13. I think this one is the funniest out of the franchise. I think people will now have confidence in watching another Martin Lawrence Film. Loved it 4 out of 5 stars.
The Mechanic (2011)
Better Than the Original
A perfectionist. A man excellent in completing his assignments. Absolutely the best in his field, an elite assassin able to make problems disappear without anyone knowing. A day comes when his mentor and best friend is murdered. Furious at his friend's death Arthur Bishop puts out his own contract out on all those responsible for Harry Mckenn's death. In assistance is Harry's son Steve Mckenna. Arthur trains Steve and together they're off on a revengeful rampage. After all when the song stops playing the Fat Lady Sings. My Official 2011 opener for a great Action Movie and a terrific tribute to the original Mechanic of 1972. Over the Top performance from Jason Statham. He didn't wear a safety cable on the roof scene. What a nut. You got a story, dead dumb guys, bullets flying, Jason Statham, Ben Foster, and Donald Sutherland. What more do you want. 4 out 5 stars
The Roommate (2011)
Funniest Horror Thriller Ever
Sara is a freshman going to college. She's moving out of her house and into her new home the campus dorms. Sara meets her roommate Rebecca. In the beginning they got along great as roomies and friends. Then she started to get a tad obsessive over Sara. Come watch the cirque du soleil jump out of Rebecca's head and scare Sara almost to death. Literally. Almost the whole movie was shot at the USC campus. This is a horror film but you'll laugh so much you'd think it was a comedy. Just ask yourself where could someone get attacked on campus or at the dorms. You just figured out the whole movie. I laughed so hard, I can't give it a 2 so a soft 3 stars out of 5
Sanctum (2011)
Cinematically Fabulous Best 3D ever
Created from a true event. A 3-D action thriller. A team of divers were doing an expedition of a cave known to be the largest cave on Earth. A storm traps the divers in the cave and there's no way out. Only thing to do is to continue through the cave system and find a path that they believe will lead them to sea. The story is not the best but it works. The 3D cinematography however is off the charts. Since Avatar in 2009 James Cameron has elevated the standards for 3D. Example: A divers light is moving from left to right and you can see the beam pass over your face as if you were in the water with that person. This is definitely NOT A CONVERTED FILM. From beginning to end shot in 3D with 3D cameras. Loved it 5 out of 5 stars
The Rite (2011)
Human Weakness Denial
Denial. For woman, I want to buy it before you, looks better than yours, my man, my idea, and "let's do something, why cuz I'm bored". For guy's, it's the "Nice huh", she's mine, the journey to get something, making others feel lower so I feel taller, "I went fishing" "I went sky diving" "My house got hit by a meteor". Inspired by true events. Michael Kovak is a priest in training attending a exorcism school in Rome. While in Rome he furthers his training meeting up with Father Lucas Trevant. Michael doesn't believe in the devil or that the devil is alone and he thinks people make evil to be more than what it is. Watch this edge of your seat heart pounding thriller as Lucas and Michael both get an idea of what non believers could end up on a bad day. 4 stars out of 5
The Company Men (2010)
Eco Crash 2008
The time 2007-2008. Life's great, credit cards at 6% apr, cheap cars, high wages, and eco overall looked good. Then it all fell to poop. Crash. Major banks after 5 years of giving out money to everyone and their mothers were in crisis. Major defaults on peoples loans, people behind on credit card payments, car market slump, and loan companies calling it quits. This movie is about 3 prominent men working for GTX (global transportation corporation) shipyard. There's Bobby Walker, who was part of a 3 division lay-off. (salary 160k). Phil Woodward was in management and was part of a 5,000 people layoff. Then you got Gene McClary, VP who ticked off his college roommate and got fired. All this to make the company stocks look good. Watch 3 men handle each of their situations in very different ways. I loved it. Truly what goes up has to come down and vice-versa. Its close to being real, except normal people aren't so picky to make money. Lucky for Bobby he has a friend. 3 ½ stars out of 5
No Strings Attached (2011)
All Tied Up
Emma and Adam have known each other way back since they were kids at summer camp. No matter what direction in Life they took, the two often found themselves bumping into each other again and again. One hangover afternoon Emma & Adam decided to use each other for sex. What they soon realized is that friends make the worst booty calls but are the best in Relationships. The string they didn't want to be attached too, just happened to tie them up in love. Kevin Kline and Ashton are a great team, they should do another film together like a father and son road trip. Queen Amidala a hoochie? At first it's gonna be hard to get use to, but it's cute, softhearted, funny Love Story. I'm not too much into Lovey-Dovey but this film made me laugh. 4 out of 5 stars
The Green Hornet (2011)
Split Green Pee Soup. Beez
James Reid (CEO and Publisher) of The Daily Sentinel died from an allergic reaction from a fatal bee sting. Brit the son, a hardcore partier, and a waste of air is faced with the reality that he would have to grow up. With the aid of Kato, his dads mechanic and the guy who makes the awesome coffee, Brit and Kato team up to make a difference in fighting the local crime in the city. This movie is suppose to be a action TV show. The Green Hornet actually could fight and kick butt. Kato was just the icing on the cake who could painfully clean house of his opponents. I mean Kato does all the work in this version and Brit's just a spoiled rich kid taking credit. The film is definitely not worth the 3D price tag. Please watch this film in its regular format. Soft 3 stars out of 5
