I saw this movie almost by accident: The tickets of the movie I wanted to see were sold out, and was able to obtain tickets for this one in the last minute. Don't believe the critics. It did not disappoint! This movie is full of smart humour, entertaining and very touching. Don't forget to stay for the end credits. There is a bonus scene.

The series is an awesome homage to the King of horror, and definitely worth your time.

For anyone who is not really a Stephen King fanatic, on first glance there appears little original in this series. To the uninitiated the series feel like X-Files meets The Twilight Zone. However, if you eat sleep and breathe King, Haven is phenomenal.
Every episode has multiple references to Stephen King stories. Some really subtle, and others quite obvious. I love taking each episode apart in search of these references. Looking through King's shades, Haven is not a mix of X-Files and The Twilight Zone at all. It is Castle Rock. It is Derry. It is dark and IT is out there. Anything is possible!
