Charm City!!
21 April 2024
OMG...this was a charming story and a breath of fresh air! I was hooked from the start and engaged throughout the whole movie. I was looking for something low key and easy to watch on prime video and found this. I have always been a Chris Messina fan and he did not disappoint in this little gem. Jenna Fischer was also truly adorable! I had never heard of this film and I didn't read the synopsis or watch the trailer so I went in without any expectations. I love when I do that and happen to pick the perfect movie for my tastes and mood. This movie is so much more than your typical romantic comedy because it has so much heart and is not overdone. The growth and acceptance that the main characters experience personally and professionally is so heart warming!

Late to the Game
4 April 2021
I'm so grateful to have found this extremely entertaining, funny and quirky little show! I almost wish I hadn't tho since now I miss it terribly. It has joined my long list of shows that I still mourn their untimely death :( : (: I found it on HULU and was binging it but I slowed down the 2nd season so I could savor the last few episodes once I realized how much I loved it and how quickly it was about to be over, ugggh! I just hate falling in love with these shows only to have them dumped so soon. I laughed so much watching this show which is not the case with most garbage these networks kick out and then let them stay on. I just don't get why another network didn't pick up this adorable show!!!

Supernatural: Game Night (2019)
Season 14, Episode 17

I agree with the negative reviews

Warning: Spoilers
I was very irritated with this episode, more than usual. First of all it was annoying when Sam didn't just kill Nick when he had the chance after Nick escaped his cuffs. Sam had every opportunity to just end that severely damaged evil man and didn't. So Nick thanked him by busting him in his head. I actually started rooting for Nick at that point. I mean I know they needed Nick to push the storyline but that was not a good scene cuz Sam has killed for far less and there is obviously no redeeming Nick. Secondly, Mary aggravating Jack like that was also ridiculous. He was the only one who manned up to finally rid the world of this horrible threat and Mary thanked him by telling him he was wrong, huh??? I didn't get that, specially since she's also killed for less. What was happening here was extremely confusing so if he snapped and ended her then oh well since she was pretty useless at this point. It felt like she was saying goodbye to Sam and Dean in the episode anyway. I have loved this show since the beginning but that episode was just infuriating!

Funnier than most sitcoms these days
25 March 2019
I think this show gets better every week. I actually laugh out loud quite a bit and I don't usually do that with the corny sitcoms the networks put out each year. I like the dynamics and dysfunction of the 2 sisters, and the younger sister Shannon is a riot. She's a natural. I even like the in laws on both sides. I'm really glad i gave this show a chance!

I Really Liked It
23 February 2019
I don't understand the hate on this movie. We were thoroughly entertained! I laughed out loud on several parts. Sure, it won't win an Oscar, but then again a whole lotta movies haven't won Oscars lol. It had a good plot, good acting, a super cute little boy, and a heart warming scene. I enjoyed it a lot and would watch it again!

I like this one better than the 2 original movies
29 November 2018
I like this one way better than the 1st two because it was edgier and grittier. The main problem with Angie's Lara Croft movies was it never really felt like Angie was in any real danger. It was too much fluff and felt one dimensional and scripted. This one is wild and loose, and feels like Alicia is really taking a beating. I like the story line and the acting. Angie's appeal carried the first 2 movies which seemed like that was all the creators were banking on. Alicia held her own as Lara, it had a much more real feel to it, and she's fast and athletic. I had never seen her in a role like that. I thought it was very entertaining ! Some folks seemed to not like her in this role, but I thought she was fantastic cuz she's a great actress who definitely prepared herself for the job. I don't understand the hate....truly

Charmed (2018–2022)

I waited to review this to give it a fair review.
27 November 2018
I really like it. It has gotten better as it goes along. I went back and watched a few episodes of the original to compare and I like this one better because of the updates. It's obviously more money put into this one and the storyline is fresh. Yes, it is liberal but it doesn't hurt the storylines. I like the new White Lighter and I like how his character is evolving. It's a fun show and I like the way we are getting to know the girls and their backstories. Give it chance on it's on merit and it will grow on you. I liked it from the start, but I like it better now that it's evolving. I hope it gets a second season.

Negative reviews from Roseanne supporters most likely
13 November 2018
The show is still good. Yes, it's obvious Roseanne's voice is missing, but the show is good on it's own merit, not just because of one personality. I actually like it better cuz I find Roseanne's voice jarring and annoying, but she can be funny. lol! I will continue to watch the show since I like the storylines and it's still funny to me.

Have Seen it Several Times
1 November 2018
I actually really like this movie. I mean of course like pretty much ALL space sci-fi movies there are silly aspects to it, but I loved it despite of. It starts a bit slow with a lot of back story about the mission's objectives and funding, and bios about the crew. This movie is different to me, showing more of the human side of people's decision making skills and sacrifices that they may need to make to complete the mission at all costs. The movie's atmosphere really draws you in and makes you feel the crew's excitement and fears. It wasn't an over the top, big budget epic type movie but I enjoyed it wayyyy more than Gravity, which came out about the same time. This little movie was lost in all the Gravity hype and marketing, but I am truly glad I found this movie. As I said, I've re-watched it several times and enjoyed it every time...very few movies get that honor with me lol.

Getting Old Real Fast
1 October 2018
I liked the first episode and kinda liked the second one but the third was barely holding my attention. By the fourth episode I was over it. It's so monotonous and i still don't care for any of the characters. I can't get invested in their lives or outcomes because they all suck. Beck is so reckless with her life and whenever you think she's showing growth she makes another self deprecating move. Not to mention that she and her friends are all blind as bats to never see Joe lurking in plain site, just so unbelievable that i have to turn my brain off. It does have a few entertaining moments here and there and the storyline isn't horrible but the characters are ridiculous and it got old very fast. So disappointing since it started out entertaining and very original, but it turns out it has nothing to say.

Downward Dog (2017)

I like it, it's refreshingly different.
23 May 2017
I actually wasn't annoyed by the constant "likes", but you know how the power of suggestion is, I probably will notice more now. Lol But seriously I thought it was very cute, not the typical sitcom garbage rehashed over and over. That's why This is Us is so popular because it's unique. The dog's depressing complaining attitude is probably how some dogs really feel when they are left alone. I mean how would we really know what they are thinking when they have to entertain themselves. Cuz compared to a cat, dogs are pretty freakin needy. Cats don't give a crap. lol So I say give it a chance, I'm sure it will get better as the characters grow and evolve.

Kevin Can Wait (2016–2018)

He acts just like he did in King of Queens
9 November 2016
This is OK, but Kevin is the same exact guy he was in King of Queens, with a different name. He plays a lying, irresponsible, inconsiderate lazy and dumb guy. He acts like the human version of Peter on Family Guy. It wasn't that funny in the first show so it's definitely played in this new show. Episode 7, the Halloween show was a little more funny because of the story-line. Episode 8 was actually the best so far because Adam Sandler guest starred on it and stepped it up a bit. But of course Kevin's character acted infantile and jealous for no reason. I mean he actually has no redeeming qualities and no self respecting woman would be with him. I really wanted to like this show but, if the rest of the season is this mediocre, I won't be tuning back in if it's renewed...just sayin
