Community: Documentary Filmmaking: Redux (2011)
interesting
Again, awesome, i love how community always manages to find something in society to mock. i mostly don't like how short they are, now i've caught up to watching them live i have to wait a week for only 20 minutes of entertainment.
This particular episode needed a bit more abed, but allowed for more character development with Britta and troy which i think has potential.
I noticed in the final hug sequence a major mistake on the production side, i saw a camera man! i doubt he was supposed to be there, and it definitely wasn't Abed.
But, in all, was still community, loved it
The Bucket List (2007)
Bearable
I had high expectations for this film, and that was where I went wrong. With Freeman's voice you'd expect a film that you could watch without cringing every 2-3 minutes, but in watching 'The Bucket List' you'd quickly be mistaken.
It started OK, two oldish men in hospital, why are they there? Provokes a bit of curiosity. But aside from that and a happy ending (it was really) the film was shocking, corny and predictable. If you have any taste I really cant see why it would make you emotional.
You have to follow a bit of realism, yeah one of them is a billionaire but why would they crash two vintage mustangs (that almost made me cry), how did they not die on Everest? and how the f*** did the guy from will and grace get to the top of Everest? Its hard to loose yourself in a film (I should say movie really) when your constantly being distracted by ridiculous, impossible plot-lines... a 70? year old having sex with 20 year girls, distracting and disgusting.
Nicholson did save it at times, his speech outside the Taj Mahal (wtf?) and on top of a Pyramid (again WTF?) distracted me for a brief moment and thats the only reason i gave it more than 1 star.
Bearable, just.
