Inside Out (2015)
Nothing here for adults.
I like animated films but usually if it's PG you get some inside adult jokes but nothing but childish thoughts here. Stay away if you expect a Shrek type movie. The acting is good and the story is great for kids but I was disappointed that there is nothing here for adults. If you are going to the movies to pay premium prices and expensive candy then the adults should get some enjoyment as well. I think this is the worst Pixar film to date. Remember Adults pay for the time, money and the time it takes to make the money to go see a movie. Don't waste the adults time here. Certain adults I can understand would enjoy this film but mature adults will not enjoy this film in the theater. Wait to get it on Blu-Ray and leave the room while your children enjoy this good movie for them.
Thor (2011)
Thor is OK but since it was converted to 3D.
This movie was not at all meant to to be 3D and it shows it. There is nothing in the movie that shows 3D was inspired at all. In fact there were times I noticed that I noticed it seems that 3D wasn't even converted. It was a waste of my money to spend watching this in 3D. The conversion of A Nightmare Before Christmas was worth more than this movie. Don't waste your money on this movie. And by the way don't steal my money by cheaply converting a movie. There are to many other movies that could benefit from this and I'm talking older movies. As for the movie itself was OK. I don't like watching something that could have and should have been better. Let's put it this way it was typical and showed they could have done more and better, but they they did set a stage for something even more better.
House of Fears (2007)
Generic movie that is badly acted and poorly directed.
I couldn't even finish watching this movie. 10 minutes before the end I decided to quit wasting my time. The movie is poorly executed and badly acted. The scares if that's what you call them is not scary. The cut scenes for flash backs are OK but do nothing but supposedly ad value to the movie. There is absolutely no blood or gore in the movie and no nudity as well. Two redeeming factors of a budget horror movie that is denied to the viewer. Avoid at all costs even though it's on Netflix streaming in HD, hence the reason I even thought about watching at all. I expect a horror movie to be either or both scary/funny and include violence with hopefully nudity at least. This movie contains none of the above. I was not entertained at all and had to leave this movie even before it ended. I tried my best to enjoy it and I'm a horror fan for over 30 years. Please don't waste your time with this POS it's not worth it.
