The Hemp Revolution (1995)
Extremely low-quality, at times cheesy, but chock full of good info.
This movie appears to be extremely low budget, and has some very cheesy sequences with bad special effects. However, the movie is filled with great, objective information.
I went into this movie expecting it to be ridiculously biased, with not much more than a lot of "legalize it!" I expected nothing more than a good laugh. I got more than what I asked for.
This movie discusses the origins of hemp laws, it's versatile potential as an agricultural industry, and, almost on a side note, it's place in various cultures as a psychoactive substance.
The movie is suitable for all ages, except for a completely unnecessary, blurry sequence, during the section on psychoaction, with a woman dancing naked in a field.
If you can see past the poor special effects and generally low quality, this is a very informative and enjoyable movie.
Tian can di que (1979)
amazing... simply amazing
People dis on this movie, but let me tell you something: If you see one movie, EVER, let it be this. If I had 50b thumbs, every last one of them would be up. I mean how can you go wrong with a line like, "Funny... most people sleep in beds, but I... I sleep in steamer baskets."
Enough said.
