Riftworld Chronicles (2015)
Very enticing and promising and fun!
I am not even an enthusiast of this kind of stuff, gaming etc, but I know just enough to enjoy the references and more importantly the characters are great, and the story is intriguing and good fun.
But (as fan of Buffy and Charmed) i was left wanting more, much more.
It's enticing, funny but with serious gems (pun intended) included.
If wizard powers worked in this world I would totally cast a spell on Netflix so I could watch this show.
Seriously, it has a style and relevance all its own, while sharing the humour of shows like Buffy. Someone needs to pick this up and take it on, help it reach its genius, which is clearly there waiting.

Great lesson about being "normal"
This is probably the most boring film I have ever seen. The only interesting thing about this guy seems to be his Tourette's syndrome, and you learn a great lesson: he wanted so badly to be normal, and he achieved it. And so he became the most terrifyingly boring person who ever lived. So there is your warning: do not try to be normal because you might just succeed, and you will bore yourself to death.
Not much else to say. It is definitely safe for family viewing, so long as you don't mind your kids turning out really boring, or you can all laugh and discuss what it means to be 'normal' and why the idiots in the film think he is making noises on purpose.
I gave it an 8 not just for this lesson, but also because I don't want to risk losing the coded star system on IMDb where any film getting an 8 to 9 star rating is boring and has a lesson.

Sweet and Unique
I really enjoyed getting to know the slightly nerdy, perhaps Seattle-esque, characters -- oddballs and yet quite normal, they seem not to have the inhibitions or superficiality of the people around them, who are pissing them both off, and who together they can garner the strength to tell off. Their love is sweet and it's a pleasure to watch as they blossom in its warmth, and overcome their internal demons.. ..I have no idea why this film would have (as it does at the moment) only 4.5 stars. All thge reviews here are positive and give it 8 or more starts, but apparently some who have rated it without providing a review for explanation did not like it. I would ignore the rating and give it a chance - it really is fun and different, and not at all your typical cheesy rom-com, though it is sweet and quite romantic, and both funny and a bit serious--in a true to life way.
