Portal 2 (2011)
Challenging, funny, non violent!
After playing Call of Duty, Homefront, and other first person shooters, I got very bored with video games. Portal 2 changes that boringness. First off, Portal 2 has no violence besides a little bit of red when you get shot by a robot. Other than that, no shooting "guns" and no killing. Instead of weapons, you use wits. The puzzles start off easy in the beginning, but as the game progresses, it gets difficult, but without getting you aggravated. You can explore easter eggs, secrets, and other ways to solve puzzles. The story is great, and there are some pretty surprising character developments throughout the story. Graphics are 100% amazing. It gives you a rusty, beaten down feel, which is what the developer's goal was. Add in the non stop humor said by several characters, and you got yourself a game! 10/10 for me, and the best video game in a while!
Good Luck Charlie (2010)
Worst Disney Channel show!
This is seriously the worst, of the bad Disney Channel shows (although I do like Wizards of Waverly Place). I don't know whats with DC and laugh tracks, but it gets annoying. What ever happened to Life with Derek? That show had likable characters, and NO laugh track. This show has a laugh track every second. Teddy is annoying, I hate how her brother is supposed to be stupid, and their parents are absolutely not like parents in real life. Also, isn't Charlie going to grow up? In three years this show will be gone, due to Charlie being older and losing the charm. More than half of the show isn't about Charlie, except for the ending "Good luck Charlie". It's another stupid show about the highly unrealistic family and their troubles. Just...bad.
The Lovely Bones (2009)
Boring, amazing, terrible, all at the same time.
Alright. This is my first review here, and I honestly don't know how to start it off. So I will just say, The Lovely Bones had stunning visual effects. It was a very beautiful movie. I have not read the book, but the movie was not very suspenseful at all except for the part when Lindsey (pardon if I got her name wrong) snuck into Mr. Harvey's house. Most of it was crying, sadness, and dialogue. During some droughts, I was thinking "I wish this movie was shorter....". But I felt the end was way too rushed. It was very random, how Mr. Harvey fell off a cliff, then after that, everybody was happy and then credits. It seemed like there was no actual conclusion. Now once again, I have not read the book, so I don't know what happens. I thought the acting was superb, especially the grandmother. I would just say everything was great about it except for being too slow in the beginning, then ended up being too rushed at the end. So my official rating is an average of 6/10. It was good, not great. I would recommend watching it, just for the heck of it.
