Rushed (2021)
All was good till the ending...
The movie started off good. Getting to know the crazy but functional family. The mother is a stay-at-home mother who feels like her life is always in a rush. But she loves her family. Once she loses her eldest child to school hazing, she became depress. And after a few weeks, she tried what she could by seeking justice in the law-abiding way, but the school and government didn't want to help. So once again, in the end, the devil walked free.
Would've loved a different ending where the abusers are punished for their choices and not the mother who loss her son. Justice is a sham, a joke as it is told in this movie.
Wilderness (2023)
More like an anti-Feminist movie
At the end, it was basically an anti-feminist story. The main character shouldn't have gotten away with murder. It just shows how weak she really was. Instead of leaving her cheating husband, she planned to murder him, but instead, she accidently murder the mistress, and then he gets framed for it.
A feminist would have left and not be with someone that sleeps around. She supposed to be strong and independent, and move on. But nope, not Liv, the man character. She was deranged and a complete psycho. Definitely, it was not a strong feminist that we should learn from. The moral of this is to not marry deranged women. One notch down for women. Smh.
The Man from Toronto (2022)
Enjoyed the movie. It was entertaining!
The synopsis sounded interesting so I decided to watch it, and I'm glad I did. It was funny and had some great fight scenes especially the ending. Kevin Hart played a character as his other movies and that's what I like about his characters. I also like Woody Harrelson and he played the character perfectly.
Hagazussa (2017)
Long, boring and nothing to take with you
If you value your life, do not watch this movie. If you hate someone, tell them to watch this movie. This movie was long, long, long with no rhyme or reason. She goes through bad things and then at the end, she dies and that's it. No good out of that movie. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time.
Hard Kill (2020)
2 stars for Bruce and Jesse.
The acting is terrible, except Bruce and Jesse. I just couldn't get over the two women's extreme lip injections!! They look like daffy ducks! It looked horrible and I couldn't concentrate on the film any longer. I stopped an hour into the movie! I just couldn't finished it!
Strange But True (2019)
Tired of these sick movies.
Got interesting until we got to the baby's father and I wanted to vomit. Exposed starring Keanu Reeves is almost about the same movie. The concept is disgusting and sad. True, young girls are raped and pregnant by disgusting old men, but I don't need to watch movies about it. It's already sad enough in real life.
InSight (2011)
Entertaining but left me with questions at the end.
The twist was suprising. Yes, she's sick. But why add the creepy neighbor at Allison's apartment complex? No one said a thing about seeing murder? Still no explanation to that at the end. So, the murder wasn't solved?? The knife was never found. Did not like the weird ending at all.
Home Sweet Hell (2015)
Quite entertaining
The movie kept me entertained throughout. I felt sorry for Don being mistreated by his wife. Though at the end I wish Don hadn't died. That gave it 9 instead of 10 stars.
Dark Encounter (2019)
I wanted a sci/fi movie, not a disturbing ending...
I was going to give it 3 stars because a sci/fi turned "from curiosity to disgust" discouraged my 10 star rating, but I realized how important it was for many families to be able to get an answer of what happened to their missing child and I changed my rating.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Great acting from Zac and Lily, but I just couldn't hate Ted Bundy
Amazing acting from Zac and Lily, but I just couldn't hate Ted Bundy because he was played by Zac. He was the perfect actor. As these young girls who believed Ted Bundy was innocent cause he's handsome, well, damn I believe Zac!!! HE'S INNOCENT!! Zac Efron is INNOCENT!
I See You (2019)
Not a supernatural horror or even a horror.
I was disappointed. Watched this till the end and no horror. Please don't categorize it as such. And did Alec choose the house?? I skipped all the repeats cause I got bored.
The Car: Road to Revenge (2019)
Movie was okay but Daria is so stupid as well as the others.
Detective warn Daria to be careful, she doesn't which caused her friend to die. And she shows no emotion after that death. Next she and the detective have sex so quickly. Then she stupidly makes a deal with the bad guys. And the Night is stupid. His assistants were no use and also very stupid. You got a gun and you let her run away after burning your master? The only smart thing about this movie was the violinist.
Bonus con: the detective should've knocked that Assistant DA out of his misery before the Night did.
American Assassin (2017)
Great revenge story on both sides.
Great revenge storyline on both sides. The last scene of the bomb was a treat! Though they didn't call for a tsunami warning. Hmm. Overall, this movie was a 10 for me. It was entertaining and because I love Dylan and Taylor. Both amazing actors! Shame that Taylor was the bad guy, but we know why.
Das finstere Tal (2014)
Great story until the end. Not my kind of revenge.
The movie was great throughout until the ending. I love revenge movies. But I watched this revenge movie only to get a ridiculous angry ending. I'm still mad!! Why wasn't he more angry at the man who killed his father? And why did he act so damn obedient at the end to that killer? Apparently, he was not mad enough and didn't want the killer to suffer like his father, or from the stupid storyline, his mom's dead husband who was actually not his real father? I'm still so mad! Stupid ending. I would've shot his penile first and let him bleed to death. Sorry, that would've been my revenge. And the stupidity that Brenner was his actual father made me dislike this movie so much, regardless of the great acting, cinematography, directing, and such.
Dead to Me (2019)
Before I knew it, I watched all 10 episodes
This show made me laugh, cry and in shock. The last scene was a cliffhanger, and I wasn't amused at all because I wanted to know what happens next! So, I'm looking forward to Season 2! Both leading ladies, Christina and Linda, were great! Love James too!
The Silence (2019)
Everything was good until the crazy cult
The out of nowhere cult was NOT needed in the movie nor the book. I guess they had so much time left that it was included for pure nonsense to waste time and make the movie last longer.
The acting was good. I like Stanley Tucci, Miranda Otto and John Corbett.
And even though I don't own any pets nor want to own one in the future, I did tear up when the dad had to get rid of the dog. Sniff.
The movie was not bad except that unnecessary cult popping up.
Hold the Dark (2018)
I should've just left the movie alone
But nope, had to go read the reviews and now I want to unwatch the movie. This movie has beautiful acting and that's it. I don't like the storyline. Barf! And don't understand why he killed everyone!
Kirot (2009)
You learn how to use a gun but don't
The final fun battle scene got me upset. How could you act so weak when you freely kill everyone that your abusive boss demands you to do? Where is John Wick when you need him?!?! This movie basically tells me that as woman, you are f-cked no matter what! Not a feel good movie. If you want to be depressed, watch it.
Siberia (2018)
Why, Keanu? Why?
Why did my husband get involved in this movie? I didn't know if it was a love story "affair" that I'm supposed to feel bad for the two main cast or if it was a thriller about the blue diamond sell that was going wrong. The love story wasn't needed. I would've enjoyed the blue diamond story better by itself if it was more exciting and with a better ending. What a waste of time. Well, not really... 2 stars because it starred my husband, Keanu. Hehe.
Ken Jeong: First Date (2019)
He was hilarious, sarcastic and real!
The last five minutes was giving thanks to his wife, thus, the title. It was heartwarming and I'm glad everything worked out for him and his family. But throughout, he was hilarious and SARCASTIC, however, some of these bad reviews didn't recognize that. LOL. There are parts that I laughed out loud which I rarely do with some stand-up comedian shows. Overall, I really enjoyed it!!
Come Back to Me (2014)
Slow but ending was unexpected
It started off a little confusing for me but kept me entertained... though very slow. There were questions I asked during some scenes but it was explained in the movie. The ending was a great twist and unexpected.
Stephanie (2017)
This movie surprised me!!!
I've seen the title on Netflix for a while but the description didn't sound interesting. Thought the little girl was being terrorized by a lunatic. I decided to watch it today, and I'm glad I did before Netflix decided to remove it. The movie was slow pace at the beginning, then it picked up 30 minutes into it. It got interesting and frightening. The ending was really good. I love stories that create so many questions but then at the end, it gives you your answers. I am hoping there's a sequel but the title of the movie should be changed.
Travelers (2016)
I'm still on the edge, waiting, anticipating...
Finally after my business trips and Christmas shopping, I was able to have the time to sit down and binge on Travelers S3 on Netflix. Season 3 was intense and a tear jerker! I'm still on the edge of my seat. I was upset about the death of David and Marcy! But the ending gave me hope. There has to be more to continue with this show! It can't just end with Season 3 on that note. I wanted to know of that is really Traveler 3569 in Marcy's body? Will the team get back together under Grant? I need more story lines. There could be more that the travelers can save besides terrorists attacks. What about natural disasters? Tsunamis, forest fires, earthquakes that have taken so many lives and possibly more in the future? Death tolls could be prevented if travelers warned scientists or the people? The possibility to continue with different storylines would be great. I love this entertaining show. And I love all the actors that play the main casts!! Season 4, please!
Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
I agree with the majority. Was so good then the ending suck!!
I was rooting for Clyde and I wanted Nick to finally see the pain he put Clyde through those years. But nope!! Nick learned nothing! No remorse for his choice! Let a murderer walked free within 3 years. And the ending, how can a mastermind be so careless? No, security cameras? He didn't think they would dig into his life? I was so mad away the ending. And I wish the last line of the movie would've been "My wife and daughter can't feel anything. They're dead." That was the best line from the movie. It made me wanted to kick Nick. Stupid ending! Clyde deserved peace. He should've died on his own terms and not Nick's.
Fractured (2016)
The ending is not justified!!!!
It was a good movie until the end. I wanted to drop kick the girl for being so damn careless!! She was acting such a bad ass through the last twenty minutes of the damn movie until the end. I've never been so mad screaming at the TV. There was not enough suffering to justify what happened! I'm still mad.
