Knives Out (2019)
Pretentious Waste of Time by a Egotistical Hack
Not satisfied with butchering Star Wars, Rian Johnson sets out to do a poor man's ripoff of the films of Jonathan Lynn like Clue and Greedy. The script is pretentious, trying way too hard to be clever, and is about as subtle as a sledge hammer to the face, the actors do the best they can with a dreadful script, but it's all around a waste of time that will only be enjoyed by hipsters.
Anyone who creates a character to mock their critics is clearly too immature to be directing films. Stop giving this hack work and do not waste your time on this drivel.
Batman: Hush (2019)
A Solid Effort, But It Misses the Mark
The comic Batman Hush is among my favorite Batman stories ever, as it was the first real Batman comic I ever read, so it holds a special place in my heart and I always wanted it to be adapted into an animated film, and after many years of hoping, it finally happened, with mixed results. Also, I haven't seen most of the more recent animated films and I've always felt it was a mistake to have almost all of them in the same continuity, as if you miss out on one you'll wonder what's happening.
Some of the additions are quite worthy, like more scenes of Bruce and Selina's relationship, expanding on it and making it so rewarding to see them together.
I also liked the fight with Scarecrow getting beefed up and the scene where the imprisoned Riddler is revealed to be Clayface in disguise was really cleaver.
And the final battle in the warehouse/factory, though a setting that's exhaused at this point, is really well done and exciting.
Some changes are acceptable; like Lex Luthor just being a business man instead of the president (which he was at that time in the comics) and replacing Talia's role of helping Batman find Poison Ivy.
Batgirl replacing Huntress is fine, though the latter's absence is kinda disappointing. Also, having Catwoman jump down to protect Batman from the street thugs is also a welcome addition.
Merging the scenes with Catwoman and Poison Ivy and the scene where Ivy and Hush meet was good, as it shows how cunning and ruthless Hush is.
But there are disappointments: Killer Croc's role in the story is replaced by Bane, who DC animation seems to believe is a muscle-bound moron for some reason, and it doesn't quite fit like Killer Croc's role in the comic.
Harley Quinn and Scarecrow just vanish from the story and are never captured.
Absent characters are missed, as Tim Drake is never even mentioned and the Jason Todd scenes aren't adapted at all (and Jason does exist in this universe as Joker references him), Huntress and Harold are both left out as well, which sucks as the comic was how a lot of people, my self included, first met those characters, but it makes sense to not include Harold, who many people don't know of and his history with Batman would strike many as quite strange and as I said earlier, replacing Huntress with Batgirl is fine but Batgirl vanishes from the story all together after the first 15 minutes. Leslie Thompkins, a criminally underused character, is also absent and instead replaced by a generic date for Tommy Elliot (Peyton Riley, I assume?). Possibly because of earlier animated films, Ra's Al Ghul and Talia never appear and are only mentioned and Lady Shiva's role goes from Ra's ordering her to save Talia from Catwoman and beating the hell out of Selina to just showing up at the beginning and telling Batman about someone using the Lazarus Pit.
Another thing the film suffers from is not using Robin/Damien, as his only appearance is in a call with Bruce, as he's off with the Titans, but why does that mean he couldn't be in the film proper? Maybe have him interact with Selina and have conflicted feelings about a step-mother? A wasted opportunity.
The scene where Batman nearly kills the Joker isn't nearly as effective as it is in the book, as Catwoman and Harley's attempts to stop Batman are omitted and Gordon snapping Batman out of it lacks the punch of the story.
Two-Face's role is reduced to a mere cameo appearance instead of turning on the other villains and helping Batman and Gordon, possibly due to it leaving open a story for Harvey's inevitable return to his life of crime that they probably don't intend to show in a movie.
There's also an odd plot hole where, instead of Batman looking into Elliot's records after the main conflict has ended and discovering who was the mastermind, there's a break-in at Elliot's office for Batman and Gordon to investigate and it's never explained who broke into the office, it just happens so that Batman can figure out Riddler was behind it all.
Another plot hole is omitting Lex Luthor's role in the conspiracy, as in the comic he supplied Hush the kryptonite so Poison Ivy could control Superman, but here it's never explained where Hush got it.
And as for the final act... I have mixed emotions about changing who Hush is.
In the comic, Hush is revealed to be Tommy Elliot, who faked his death with help from Clayface, but here Hush is revealed to be the Riddler, who was the mastermind behind it all in both the film and the comic. Tommy dies for real, and Scarecrow even steals his body for Riddler to torment Batman with. changing up the comic where it was Jason's body missing from the grave (and the implication that it really was Jason Todd Batman was fighting, not just Clayface). This works just fine, but at the same time it seems like a pointless change and a poor change to Tommy Elliot's character, who is a monstrous sociopath who envies Bruce so much that he's willing to even change his face to look like Bruce, where instead he's just some friend of Bruce who gets killed.
Despite that, the final battle is more exciting than the one in the comic and it's well choreographed and animated, but the ending... leaves a lot to be desired.
In the comic, Batman breaks it off with Catwoman because earlier, Scarecrow tried to use his fear gas on Batman, but it didn't work and he said that Batman's mind was already being affected by something else. Because of that, Bruce was overcome with paranoia and uncertainty and couldn't shake the slim chance that Selina might have been a part of the Hush conspiracy the whole time.
In the movie, Catwoman saves Batman, who is too busy trying to save Riddler as the warehouse/factory explodes around them. She cuts his line and let's Riddler fall to his death, and they escape. She leaves Batman because she can't stand his firm stance on 'no killing' and his moral code, even for someone who tried to destroy him so thoroughly as the Riddler just did. This makes Catwoman look incredibly shallow and morally corrupt, she does have issues and takes umbrage with Batman's code, yet still respects him for it,
The music is...there, never really takes off.
Animation is good, smooth and the fights and action are awesome.
Voice Acting Wise: Jason O'Mara and the other DC Animated Movies voice cast give solid performances. Jennifer Morrison as Catwoman was a bit off at first but she really grew on me and I liked her by the end. The only voice actor I didn't like was Peyton List, the voice of Poison Ivy, as she turned in a quite wooden performance.
Overall, it's a mixed bag. There are good things about the movie and some of the changes and additions work, but some changes and the things they took out don't improve the story, but are more to its detriment. It's sad that the adaptation's of Frank Miller's work were so faithful, yet everything else is changed up for the worse. Hey, at least it's an enjoyable movie and not an incompetent mess like The Killing Joke movie or Batman and Harley Quinn!
I'd say give it a watch, but read the comic.
Felidae (1994)
A horror noir film, about cats.
I love cats, I own 6 of 'em myself. I heard of this film while watching Watership Down (Which was excellent) and decided to check it out. It has a pretty decent dub, but an unknown dub cast.
The film itself is bloody brilliant. Its a mystery of a hybrid of Sherlock Holmes and Batman, the animation on the cats is rather good and the sheer amount of gore and blood in this movie is astounding so DO NOT let your kids watch it.
I want their to be a proper American release someday, outside of Youtube. Truly an underrated classic.

Beast Wars: Transformers (1996)
Almost the best Transformers series out there yet.
While I think animated is better, this is with out a doubt one of the greatest animated series ever. Beast Wars is a sequel to G1 following Optimus Primal, the son or grandson of Optimus Prime, as he leads a group of Maximals, Cheetor, Rattrap, Rhinox, Tigatron, Airazor, Silverbolt, Depth Charge, Tigerhawk, and my favorite character Dinobot. While the evil predacons are led by Megatron, not the same one of course, as he leads Terrersaur, Scorponok, Waspinator, Tarantulaus, Quickstrike, Inferno, Rampage, Ravage, Dinobot 2, and Blackarachnia, who turns good as the series progresses.
The series had wonderful and in depth characters, recurring story arcs. Animation seems outdated yes, but still looks rather nice compared to other things Mainframe did.

Transformers (2007)
By far the best Transformers film
Now while I do admire the 80's film for it's grand score and acting, but that does not make me look past it's countless animation errors, plot holes, continuity errors, and just plain WTF moments. The CGI animation on the transformers was astounding and the action scenes kept me on the edge of my seat. I felt the Sam and Mikela characters were unnecessary, but I loved the army guys as well as Maggie and Glen, as well as Keller. The Transformers themselves were voiced by actors such as Peter Cullen, Hugo Weaving, Jess Harnell, Robert Foxworth, Reno Wilson, Charlie Alder, Darius McCrary, Jimmie Wood, and Mark Ryan.
I do have to say it is a nice film, and has a nice plot and is nicely directed.
84/100
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
Truly one of the best Animated Series ever
I just wanted to say, I do love Gendy T's series, but it in comparison to this one it falls a little flat, but I still love it. This series has introduced some characters that have quickly became some of my favorites. Such as Captain Rex, an epic Clone Trooper at Anakin's side, Savage Oppress, the ruthless brother of the infamous Darth Maul, Cad Bane, a bounty hunter who is so badass, he doesn't need a theme song like Darth Vader.
As I write this we are almost done with season 3 (Secrets Revealed) and while the first half was alright, the second half is astoundingly excellent. My favorite episodes are currently Rookies, Hostage Crisis, Witches of the Mist, ARC Troopers, and the entire Geonosis Arc.
EDIT 2012 We are halfway through season 4 now, and the most recent episode of the show A Friend in Need was fantastic. Episodes such as the Citadel Trilogy, The Padawan two parter, the mon cala trilogy, the umbara four parter, and a friend in need are among my favorite episodes.
This is almost my favorite show ever.
It's truly a great series, and it will be sad to see it go.

Generator Rex (2010)
A excellent action Cartoon
Generator Rex is a new animated series created by Man of Action (The creators of the Ben 10 trilogy) and it is very well done, animated, written, and acted. The plot is a 15-16 year old named Rex has powers to create various mechanical powers to his body. This is due to a mysterious even that caused things called nanites to live in every single living thing on earth, but some go bad or have powers, they are called evos . He fights along side his caretaker, Agent Six, his friend, a evo monkey named Bobo, a young attractive doctor named Doc Holiday, and a human friend named Noah. They fight against the Evil Van Kliess, who plans to mutate every living thing on the face of the planet. The series is a witty, action-packed series, that proves that Cartoon Network still has it.
Transformers Prime (2010)
Not as good as animated or the Beast series but has a chance.
As far as Transformers go, there can be a war to decide if it's good or bad. the original cartoon was entertaining, but good lord was it stupid. Beast Wars and Beast Machines were both great in terms of story, animation, and characters. Robots in Disguise had a few redeeming values, but not a lot. Armada was okay, Energon was crap, Cybertron was okay. Animated was fantastic! The movies were good, but too many humans. This series was pretty good. Some lovable human characters such as Miko, and Arcee in this series in tough and sexy, Bulkhead is lovable and big, and Rachet is Hilarious. I can't wait till Febuary for new episodes to come. Welcome back Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Awesome! But not the Best
Well I better get this off my chest. I do not think this is the best Star Wars, It's more like 3rd best. Nothing to sneeze at. I love this movie but I shall not give out any spoilers. One of the bad things about Star Wars is, you already know the plot because it's been parodied so much. If I have to name what the best thing this movie did it's definitely Yoda. Worst thing this movie did: That tiered out "I am Your Father" cliché. Which has became soooooo annoying now it was funny 20 years ago not any more!
Like I said 3rd best in the franchise, but it is a bit overrated.
10/10
The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (1987)
I could not even comprehend that this was a movie.
I felt like I had been locked in a basement for seven years, tortured, raped, and mentally abused by the time this thing was done.
This deserves a zero! it honestly does! It deserves a zero.
This film is evil incarnate. EVIL.
I still wake up every night. Screaming. Screaming.
I am honestly very disturbed by this turd of a "movie".
Manos: the Hands of Fate is better than this movie! THIS IS THE WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF ALL HUMANITY!! I WANT TO BOMB OURSELVES THAT'S HOW BAD THIS IS.
0/10
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
The Darkest and we LOVE it!!! If you don't like it Your LYING!!!!!
As Kevin Smith said this one was the one those idiotic, whiny, bitchy, haters have been bitching for since the phantom menace. If they do not love what they see, their either stupid or lying.
"We'er Stupid!!! We'er Stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That accursed Spoonyone, who's only funny if he's in someone else's video, is a pure honest to god idiot for giving this film a negative review. He should be shot in the balls with a rocket launcher at point blank range then have his corpse torn apart by rabid wolves, and then shot in the face with a machine gun until his head is nothing but a red powder. The same goes for that ConfusedMatthew bastard as well.
I love all the star wars movies, but this is my fourth favorite of the franchise 10/10
Star Wars (1977)
The legend Begins
The film that launched a generation of imaginations, hopes, and dreams. George Lucas' epic film saga began in 1977 with a limited resource. But still, a giant success and legendary triumph.
People bash him for the 1997 and 2004 re-edits and accuse him of just wanting money. But, no they are idiots. George Lucas did it to realize his full vision and dream.
It launched the careers of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, James Earl Jones, and the most notable, Harrison Ford.
It's my fifth favorite of the franchise.
10/10
The Dark Knight (2008)
The most over rated film of all time!
(Well besides the Shankshaw)
The film is nowhere near as good as it's predecessor "Batman Begins", the closest it came is when the tumbler blew up.
Heath Ledger as Joker = God awfulness!!!!!!!!!! It sounds like Eddie Deezen got cast as Hannible Lecter, now thats illegal use of the Deezen! Gary Oldman really deserved that Oscar, as did Micheal Caine and Morgan Freeman. Christian Bail, dose he have lung cancer or something?! Maggie Gyllenthaal was bad casting she looks nowhere nowhere near as Katie Holmes was, her dying made jump up with cheer! Harvey Dent is like Sasuke from Naruto. How? You want to bash his head in every time you see him. It would take me all day to clear up all my problems with this film. The car chase although is hands down the best part of the film and probably the best car chase ever put on film!
The ending ticked me off the most, the first time I watched it I wanted to destroy the disc because I was so disappointed. But still not that bad. Despite the gigantic plot holes at the end. Its an okay movie, So don't go ape-S**t if you don't agree with me.
6/10
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
The Guy Who Bashed This Film Is An Idiot Supreme!
The guy who did the review is an idiot beyond all natural comprehension. anyone who hates this movie does not know what George Lucas set out to do. what he set out to do was inspire young people, and damn it, that's just what he did.
Jar Jar is not half as annoying as some of the people I have had to put up with in my life. In fact that reviewer sounds like one of those people. I'm sorry, but if you agree with him with a voice that sounds like a pre-pubescent Sean Connery but.... Canadian, you are an idiot!!!
I love this movie. It's my second favorite of the franchise.
10/10
Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
Bridge to terrible movie!
I bought this movie for a relative for Christmas at a used book store, more than a few months after it was released on DVD, now I know why. I watched it to make sure it did not freeze up. By the time it was over........ I wanted to destroy the disk!!!!! The relative returned the movie to me calling it pure garbage. I couldn't agree more. The acting is pretty good particularly from the kids and Robert Patrick (Dude come on! You were the T-1000 and now your a Lance Henrekson wannabe!!) And no, I'm not kidding he sounds like he's doing a Henrikson impression.
Do not let your children watch this movie! Showing them "Friday the 13th would be less harmful to them than this movie!
Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000)
Good, but flawed
I've loved Thomas since I was a kid and I don't know why the movie gets a bad reputation. The music and Peter Fonda's acting are worthy of an Academy Award. But there are some flaws. First of all how does Thomas get to the coal car? There's only one track! And second where is everyone? The island looks like the rapture happened everyone's disappeared. Many of the characters: Edward, Duck, Mavis, Donold, Douglas, the narrow gauge engines etc. are absent!
So as I said, good but flawed. I still don't understand why so many people hated this movie. It is and will always be a childhood favorite that I will pass on to my children.
Transformers: B.O.T. (1986)
The dumbest episode in transformers history!
The story makes no sense, the animation is just horrible, and the showcasing of the protectobots and Defensor is just plain bizarre! The episode is about Swindle who, after a fight with Defensor, tries to sell off the other combaticons' body parts. Why?! At first we see him trying to buy body parts, and we get no explanation as to why he changes his plans. Megatron's plan seems ridiculously complicated to the point where it does not make sense. The kids introduced in this episode are extremely annoying and loathsome. And people complain about the kids in ARMADA.
Don't even get me started on the animation errors! There are too many to list.
Bottom Line. Worst. Episode. Ever.
