Disney does what they do best.
22 June 2012
Warning: Spoilers
If any film makes me cry that means it hit the spot and that has a lot of meaning to it. I cried because it made me automatically think of my own mother and daughter relationship that has good days and bad days and we argue and then we don't speak to one another and then we hug it out, cry it out and make up. It's one thing to have a mother that loves you so darn much that she wants all and the very best for you, but that in itself has it's difficulties in getting across and it gets to a point where neither listen to one another, and it's another thing to sometimes not realise it. With all that said though the film made me laugh the same way it made me cry because it's really funny, witty, sometimes scary, beautifully animated and it's just everything that Disney flawlessly execute every time. I loved it and will certainly add it to my collection.

Everything is like marmite, you'll either love it or hate it, but watch it for your own curiosity.

Gibson remains the best in his work...
13 May 2012
I watched it, I loved it, it's brilliant! I will watch it again and again and again... I couldn't give a s**t about Mel's personal life and the crazy media surrounding it because quite frankly the man is phenomenal in his WORK, isn't this what we should really care about? and since when does his personal life HURT people in any way? Surely people have said bad things when no one is around, ey? exactly.

This was a bad-ass film, I watched it because I was curious and because of Mel Gibson, as I am an all time fan, and I have to say from screenplay to a great storyline to the fantastic directing to all the actors - main and supporting - and to the film all together, I am happy to have watched it and enjoyed it. Hollywood...this is how it's DONE.

Mel, you are legendary. Live long, live strong.

Painfully beautiful film. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
29 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Personally i give it a 10 out of 10 because i loved everything about this film, including and especially the fighting (girl here). With a cast like this there is hardly anything bad you can say about it. It certainly has heart, certainly has a story, it makes you think, it makes you feel and it makes you relate..and it made me cry. It made me cry because when you look at just how much these men (the family) had been hurting by who did what, when and why which broke the family apart, and then what brings them together even if just about..you just can't help but to think and/or relate to it slightly and cry...or not.

Anyway, in the end the money didn't even matter, sure this was the goal for either Tommy and Brendan at the beginning but it became about so much more than that, despite what happened in that ring which led to his defeat, it just really made you realise how much Tommy was hurting and how much Brendan wanted his little brother back, and the father his sons.

I recommend this film to everyone even the non MMA fans. Everything made this film just perfect. Please watch it.
