This is one of the most vapid, poorly acted movies I have seen in years. I had to force myself to sit through the entire thing, and was quite proud when I made it to the end. . . though saddened by the fact that I had lost that chunk of my life to this travesty. My daughter who is 6 (and God knows the movie tastes of 6 year old girls runs pretty parallel to this dribble)could not even stay awake through it, and it is probably the first movie ever she had no desire to watch again. Yes, that's right, a 6 year old girl refused to sit through this movie a second time. In her words "it was stupid". I think that pretty much sums up this colossal waste of time, and film. It was stupid.

This movie rocks! It was completely flawless! Thank God for this fun, funny, unpretentious wonderful little movie!!!!! I saw it 3 times in the theater (once by myself and twice when I had to take all my friends), and then bought it the day it was released on DVD! I can honestly say it's just about the most fun I've had at the movies in ages! The story is solid, the plot is great, the dialog is funny, and well delivered, and the acting is perfect! Oh yeah, and the special effects are GREAT! I can't say enough good things about this movie! See it! See it! Write the producers and DEMAND a sequel!!! Good for you all who made this, and good for us all who got to watch it! Thanks you guys!

Whomever made this piece of crap should be ashamed! As should every single actor in this movie. You all gave the most pathetic performances I've ever seen. I'm embarrassed for you! I seriously hope your all friends of the idiot that wrote this steaming pile of crap, and don't actually consider yourselves "actors". Aside from looking like a series of random shots that had little to nothing to do with one another, the script was obviously written by a pack of retarded sheep on a deadline of 20 minutes, and the acting. . . .oh I feel sorry for your families. I am offended by this pile of crap as someone in the film industry, and more so I'm offended as a human being. Please for the sake of humanity don't ever ever make movies again! Don't make them, work on them, rent them, watch them, or even think about them!

I too had never considered Kirstie Alley a "real" actress. She is a very good comedian, but "Serious Actress" is not a description I would have ever used with her. . . .until I saw this movie. I was actually at work (at a sportsbar) when it came on. I was flipping through the channels looking for sports, when I stopped for a moment, and in that short moment I was amazed! I sat entranced for the next 2 hours (ignoring customers, and killing my tips), but it was worth it! Not since Sybill (with Sally Field in the 1970's) have I been so awe struck with the performances in a TV movie! Congrats to Kirstie Alley! You have proven yourself to be brilliant, talented, inspired, and most of all a "Serious Actress" on a par with the great film actresses of today!!!!!!

What can one say but. . . .why? Why did these film makers hate us all so much? Why did they spend money on this? Why did they think this was a good idea? Why did the actors do it? *Sigh* It made my head hurt, it made my stomach sick, and it made me want to tear out my own eyes. I hope no one ever has to see it. It would make a good "In Flight" movie, on the plane to Hell! But if you insist on seeing it, enjoy!
