Interceptor (2022)
Washing my eyes with soap now, to forget what I just see
Very bad movie. Predictable and cheesy story, uninspiring acting and nonsensical scenes every turn.
Not enough Thor, that was actually funny was funny.
El páramo (2021)
Well filmed drama, less of a horror
Simple, yet good production, both visually and sound wise. Bad reviews must be coming from people who expect video-game-like action and constant stimulation. Instead, this movie is focusing on is interesting camera shots, fair acting, especially from the boy, building a suspense by intensifying paranoia fueled behavior of the mother and the "monsters" of a human minds.
Not the best movie, not the worst either. Good enough for a slow Saturday afternoon...lots of dark scenes, so definitely not a daytime watcher.
The Virtuoso (2021)
Boooring and bad, mostly bad.
Well, where should I start, you know how it's going to end from the start, Hopkins is there just for bait and boobs are the only entertaining part of the movie.
And there's the narration...raping the whole thing like a cheap paper cover of a cheesy, 'Spy vs. Spy' novel, which what it is exactly. The end.
A Boy Called Christmas (2021)
Be advised. It's a children's story.
Nicely filmed, sweet little story. That's all it is.
Story of Santa and Christmas and joy, without a drop of religion (thanks God)
Is in Dolby Vision, which is fantastic in this case and in Dolby Atmos, not much ostentatious, rather settle but effective and joyous.
Enjoy with your kids!
Red Notice (2021)
Dumb AF
3 stars is for the red dress, that's it, there's nothing else in that movie. Dumbest dialogues ever, idiotic plot and bad, like super bad acting (expected anyway)
Watch it, don't watch it, your choice but remember that I warned you.
Mother! (2017)
Love it or Hate it. One of those movies.
One cannot just watch this movie and have no opinion on it. A pure art form. Raw and crude, simplistic almost but highly complexed and meaningful. Beautiful and eye-soring at once film, which will stay in your head no matter if you Love it or Hate it.
The Witcher (2019)
What is this???
I'm not getting those great ratings! Why, oh why, someone would think this is a good show?? Ridiculously boring, pretentious scenes, mediocre acting and (omg) is that dubbing voiceover on main roll actor to fit to his character? and don't even let me start on his monotone face expression...Mr Henry Cavill!
And wait, there is a guy with a mandolin, playing Led Zeppelin like music!!! WTH??
The only bright spot in all that grayish mess is Anya Chalotra. The girl has more talent than all rest of them together, and then some. I only hope to see her again in a better circumstance.
4 stars from me, mainly for scenography and somehow good effects, plus Dolby Atmos sound mix.
PS. if I see one, just one effing dragon, I'm out! Seriously.
