What a crock!
28 November 2013
Warning: Spoilers
It started with some promise with Gaga talking about how she loved the Muppets holiday specials.

John Denver and Muppets started with the "12 Days of Christmas."

A Muppet Family Christmas started with "We Need a Little Christmas."

This started with some crap song about Venus and, so far, there has not been one "holiday" song. I don't care if you're talking Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanza, the Winter Solstice, or New Year's, but I expect a "Holiday Spectacular" to have holiday songs!

The title should be "Lady Gaga Concert with some Muppets running around."

The best thing is that Statler and Waldorf just summed it up:

S: "There's nothing like a classic holiday song."

W: "And that was nothing like a classic holiday song."

The Girls of 'A' Team (1985 Video)

You're the best!
19 June 2006
What can I say that hasn't already been said? Unfortunately, I do not have the entire movie in my collection. In fact, I have never seen the entire movie.

I saw the Harry Reems scene and a girl/girl scene that mentions "the A Team" on a compilation video I once rented. For years, I had no idea where these scenes came from. Later, thanks to a friend yelling, "Zanos! You're the best!", over his phone at work did I find out about the movie where the scene came from.

So, I do have the Harry Reems scene in my collection! And "Zanos! You're the best!", has been a rally cry for me and my boys for many, many years....

A romance?!!?
29 April 2004
I cannot believe that they tried to make a romance out of this story! I truly wanted to barf every time the love triangle between Sophie, Nemo, and Ned reared its ugly head!

It was disappointing that so many of the elements from the novel and previous movies were missing in favor of this sappy romance.

Then, they ruin the potentially best part of the movie by replacing the giant squid with a reject from a Godzilla movie!

I will admit that there were some good things. First, the design of the Nautilus was right on the money as were the sets and the costumes. It is a shame that the story didn't do them justice.

Dilbert (1999– )

I did not need to see Dilbert's butt!
6 February 2003
I am a loyal reader of the comic strip. I am also an "I.T. guy" that has lived many of the situations in the comic. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the cartoon. I cannot point to anything in particular, but there was just something missing. It could be that there is something lost in translation from the "funny pages" to the TV screen. The best way I can describe is that it just did not have the charm of the comic strip. Scott Adams got caught up in the "let's do all things I can't do in the comic, because of the ultra-conservative editors". So, instead of writing material that was actually funny, we got to see Dilbert's butt time and again. Dilbert's butt just isn't that funny....
