Unlike Anything You've Ever Seen Before, Nothing Comes Close
8 August 2023
This is one of my all-time favorite movies, Stephen Chow is a Master of making very unique and memorable movies, I remember seeing Shaolin Soccer and that was incredible almost like watching a live action Anime but Kung Fu Hustle just took it several levels beyond, It's a Masterpiece and honestly I've never met anyone who did not like this movie and I mean Ever, to see this movie get some 1s, 2s or even 5s seem like a troll to me, I've seen people who although this type of movie is not their thing, they still had a blast cracking up and were very entertained, I just read they are working on a part 2 and although not a direct sequel, Stephen Chow is set to direct and possibly star in it with Jackie Chan, It's set in modern times so I'm super excited to watch that. Kung Fu Hustle was one of just 3 movies in my 50+ years that immediately after watching it, I got a Drink and some food and sat down and watched it all over again.

"It doesn't get any better than this"
14 June 2023
What can I say about this Action/Crime/Thiller Series? It just has the right stuff simply put, the right amounts of what makes an Action/Crime movie like say The Raid 2 great, The Bloodhounds story spans 8 episodes with a total running time of about 9 hrs and there is never a dull moment, it trully has a lot of elements mixed into the story to keep you interested throughout, I say the series in 2 days, could have watched it in 1 night if I didn't have to work in the morning, this series pulls no punches but never goes to extreme levels, as examples of Extremes: The Raid 2 & The Night Comes for Us come to mind, this falls a notch below. On the violence scale like say The Man from Nowhere, but it's 85% Fists Fights and Bats with about 15% Knife Fights, Just Perfection in my opinion, This production crew and writters should immediately start producing Season 2, could even use Different actors like True Detective Series did, After Watching Bloodhounds, Imagine that type of story told in the 1400s,1800s, maybe even 1930s because even the same story type completely changes the feel of everything with the era, This Series struck Solid Gold in My Opinion, Thank You, and Can We please another one.

A Masterpiece 10 out of 10, Great Writting and Acting on display here, for the 1st time in the 3 volumes, You will feel truly emotionally invested in each and every Guardian
8 May 2023
To Start off, I saw this in IMAX which always helps but in my opinion, this movie so far my Favorite movie of the year, and I love every type of genre to tell you people were a sobbing mess in the theatre would be an understatement, and I couldn't resist, I said screw it, so there I was, grown man crying enjoying an emmotional rollercoaster Hella-Fun ride on a Sunday with likeminded moviegoers, trust me is't not as somber as it sounds, it's just great writting that makes you feel for the characters on screen, obviously not the same kind of movie but for example the feeling of caring for the characters on screen was similar to how I felt while watching The Shawshank Redemption & The Green Mile, you see Chuk Iwuji playing the High Evolutionary portraying Evil to perfection, for me The mainl emmotional stuff has to do with Violation of Animal Rights and Animal Cruelty, PETA has already hail this movie to be "The best animal rights film of the year." and I cannot disagree there, It's a Super Fun Movie dispite the tone of my review, it's the Perfect send off to The Guardians of the Galaxy, I'll be watching it again this coming weekend in 4DX (It's like a much lighter version of a Movie with Smells Changes in Ambient Temperatures even Fog and water sprinkles if you're watching something like AVATAR: Way of the Water, that was an incredible 4DX experience, and so was Maverick, love this Movie, It went emmotionaly farther than any Super Hero Movie should have to go, But Damn, Am I glad it did.

Incredible Movie That Proves Great Writting & Acting Wins Over Big Budgets Every Time
30 April 2023
I was Blown Away with the Complexity of the Story told in a very simple way, The Writting in Fantastic and the Story is Very Relevant To Today's Current Events Pertaining to AI with ChatGPT 4.2 theoretically acquiring the ability to think, create art, write complete complex essays, and write poems in 2023 which makes today's AI more advanced in many ways than Cherry from this movie, This Story is divided into 3 chapters and each Chapter jumps ahead into the Future, There are actually 3 rooms where this story unfolds in, 5 rooms if you count a brief Church and a Dilapidated House scene, This Movie Deals with very sensitive stuff, a solid story that deals with a man's emotional personal traumas and how those traumas shaped him to become the inventor of an AI system that changes the World but by using his Traumas as the Primary Directive of the AI, it has emotional unintentional consequences. The Acting is Superb by everyone Here with Tatum Matthews being the standout performance.

Incredible, South Korean Movies Pull No Punches
21 November 2022
For years now I've admiring South Korean Films, From OldBoy to The Man from Nowhere and instantly outdone with I Saw The Devil sits in at #2 as the greatest Serial Killer Film ever Made #1 being Silence of the Lambs and #3 Se7en, there is this rawness about them, recently we've seen the Witch part 1 and part 2 which were incredible which deal with Brain and Body enhancing experiments This movie fits in perfectly with that Genre, The 1st half of this movie is your typical take no prisoners, Violent Criminal escape flick but 3 times as bloody/gory but then the movie takes an unexpected turn and kicks into overdrive and becomes a race to survive when a Frankenstein type Superhuman experiment gone wrong breaks loose in the chaos and goes after anyone and everyone. Deep Rising 1998 does the same type of misdirection which makes you think it's Cruise Ship Robbery Heist and ends up being a Giant Monster Flick, genre bending flicks if done right are among the most entertaning types of films, in this case you have 1 half of the movie done right before the 2nd half kicks in with the Sci-Fi/Horror and it's done masterfully, This Movie is Definately not for the Squemish, like I mentioned South Korean Films do not pull any punches when it comes to blood and gore, this is definately an NC-17 just like The Witch part 1 and 2 and I Saw The Devil, in China this would be a CATIII movie, can't wait for a sequel.

Wow! This Movie came out of Left Field, Truly a Fun Watch
10 October 2022
I've read several reviews and comparison to Evil Dead and The Blair Witch is pretty accurate, I Thought this was low budget horror going in but quickly realized it's a horror comedy, but Hot Damn!, It works, at 1st I would chuckle here and there, but before long I was cracking up and at the same time it has lots of creepy parts and jump scares, to be The Main actor he's absolutely hilarious, his screams are just infectiously funny, you'll see what I mean, he goes from macho explorer to feminine in a split second, it's comedic gold, goes to show you, you don't need a budget of multi-millions stacked high for a hit. I thought it was Fantastic.

WOW! This 1st Episode Trades Blows The Best Episodes From GOT
23 August 2022
Incredible start to HOD or HOTD I think (The) is omitted from abbreviations but who cares, to the point, This episode if it were shown as a flashback GOT episode, it would have been considered one of the top 25 episodes from the 8 Seasons, The presentation, pacing and well established groundwork for potential future conflicts was picture perfect, at only a 1 hour 5 minute you get a very good sense of the betrayals, mayhem and destruction in the immediate and future for House Targaryen, and let's not forget 10 full grown Dragons, and you know, when Babies Cry, Babies got to Eat, so Mayhem and Destruction in the forecast indeed, The quality here is unmatched, with the advances in digital effects easier to cut and paste effects faster and seamlessly in ways what couldn't be done just a few years ago, this show will finally showcase the appearance of an endless budget or on par with a 200+ million dollar Blockbusters, can't wait to see Episode 2, the future is Bright or Dark depending on how you see it in The House of The Heirs of the Dragon.

Leaps and Bounds Better than most DC or Marvel Show Combined
21 January 2022
What can I say about Peacemaker that the title of my review didn't hint you on, This show is an absolute Gem, I cannot come up with a single negative aspect about it, other than it's definitely not for kids and it's not supposed to be, it takes the comedic timing of Ryan Reynold's Deadpool and spreads it out among the entire cast, I'm serious everyone here interacts with everyone in such a hilarious way I was laughing out loud uncontrollably, the writers absolutely understand comedy, the action is top notch, the Gore is front and center the sexual aspects of the show are pretty rough and I'd love to see it cracked up to 11, they really struck Gold with Peacemaker, so much better than Suicide Squad which I did like but this is just on another level, the Only shows that can hold a candle to this one are just completely different like Daredevil, Punisher to name a couple, Amazon's The Boys. Is another show that is on par with this one, totally different obviously but the quality of execution of the source material is what I'm referring to, Peacemaker is Solid GOLD.

This was a TV Movie? I was very Impressed
9 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
First off I have to admit that I'm a sucker for type of story, Underdog stories if told in a proper way are extremely powerful and moving, It did not seam like a made for TV Movie, the Budget was just right for the sets and action shown, You've probable seen this story told 100 different ways, Shy quiet and Introverted Boy gets Bullied, Boy Seeks help from a Bad Ass to train him and Boy ultimately becomes a Bad Ass Himself, Karate Kid is a good example even Van Damme's Kickboxer follows this type of story, This common type of storyline when presented properly is always inspiring and when told in a fresh and different way like in this case where there 2 storylines of the 2 main leads at the very beginning of the movie and shows how they intersect perfectly and show very efficiently how the both land in jail, there is even a 3rd storyline outside the jail of the main villain seeking revenge, The Acting was fantastic as well as Fight Choreography, I'm wondering if there is a sequel in the works, Like the Title implies this might just be the beginning, If that be the case I'm all on board for it.

A Sequel would be Titled, Unfit 2: From Genius to Mashed Potatoes
17 July 2021
Leftist Propaganda at it's finest. Before Trump was Elected they called for his Impeachment, They accused Trump of Russia Collusion, then he was a Spetsnaz 007 equivalent Spy for Russia, then he gave a quid pro quo to the President of Ukraine in a call that was either perfectly fine you had to really read deep between the lines of the stated facts mentioned on the call to actually form an opinion that he may have tried to get the President of Ukraine to investigate on the Barisma known Corruption where Hunter Biden offered his extensive expertise on the Company's core product and services for a Handsome Monthly Salary, This so called evidence would have ben thrown out of a regular court on day 1 because biased opinions on whether a crime was committed without real evidence is just not evidence period, this is when the whole Country realized Impeachment is truly a joke, if the House and Senate were Democrats, they would have removed him from office with no real evidence of any wrong doing, then they decided to Impeach Donald J Trump yet again for saying on Jan 6th 2021 "You have to fight hard for your rights and let your voices be heard" that was enough for the Democrats to decode yet again enough criminality to Impeach Donald J Trump after he had already left office for the mere optics because it served nothing because Impeachment is for a sitting President which ended up being acquitted yet again, The Democrats have made a Joke and a Mockery of the US Government, an Institution that cannot be trusted and an Impeachment process that is nothing more than a Lynch Mob if they had the vote to do so regardless of Evidence, Now Look at The Potato in The White House running the United States along with the Most Unlikable Vice President in History.

Trust Me, Do Yourself a Favor and Ignore the Bad Reviews
3 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was amazing, Chris Pratt is a good actor no doubt but it could have been any lead actor and the movie would still be amazing, watching it again tonight with my wife, the reason this movie is getting bad reviews is 100% political, in the political landscape we live in today a religious man like Chris Pratt is ironically Demonized, but on to the review, some people find movies dealing with time travel a little confusing and rightfully so, the idea here is easy to digest and nothing complicated, if you've seen the trailer you know the basic storyline, what they don't show is the actual Alien threat and oh boy are they menacing, imagine a cross between the Arachnids from Starship Troopers with their Durability and Hivemind thinking and the aggression of The Xenomorphs from the Alien Movies and The Creatures from A Quiet Place yet even more dangerous then all those due to their Body's Natural Producing Short range weapon Projectiles that can penetrate body armor, they stand head and shoulders more menacing than any almost any other Alien creature in film history that does not use technology as weaponry like say a Predator, I would have loved to see this movie in IMAX for the incredible experience, Fantastic Movie. Trust me, Rotten Tomatoes has it Critics by 52% General Audience has it at 80% but watch that grow just as Dave Chappelle's Sticks and Stones did and that should let you know instantly that the vast majority of the bad reviews are simply political in nature due to Chris Pratt's Religious Beliefs.

Very Impressed with this Movie and It's Unique Climax
10 June 2020
It's pretty obvious this is a Low Budget Movie but there was enough attention to detail to grab your attention, 1st off the movie has a color grading of a higher budget movie, nothing puts me off more when I start to see a movie than the obvious Low Budget Color look of a movie, you know what I'm talking about, that dark gloomy almost Camcorder look to it, color and look of a movie is are important at least at the beginning, This Movie has a seemingly simple premise at 1st but becomes a whole lot more as it progresses, it kind of reminded me of Ready or Not in that the Climax of the Movie was a curve ball out of nowhere, this movie has and equally surprising ending, there are only a few set pieces but they made great use of them, A Couple arrive at a huge luxurious Mansion for a Diner Party consisting of Elites and obviously things go from weird to deadly in no time, the acting was great for the most part and like I mentioned the final reveal is well worth the price of admission, let me leave you with this without spoiling anything, there has never ever been a movie that I know of which this unique ending/reveal I absolutely recommend this movie and give it a 9 out of 10 because they made something way more interesting than the initial premise would lead you to think, alway love surprises

One of The Greatest War Movies ever made
13 January 2020
To say this was a huge Surprise would be an Understatement, I had seen 2 or 3 different trailers before seeing it last night, nothing could have prepared me for what I experienced, it's as close to a tense yet incredibly enjoyable 2 hr Roller Coaster ride as you could get, This was the greatest one continuous shot type Film I have ever seen, The Pacing of the Film is like no other I've seen, the amount of onscreen story telling you experience feels way more than just the 2 hrs run time, it's just the perfect economy in motion pacing, a pause for just a minute and off to the next main objective, you'll see what I mean, the pacing is just masterful, the tension building is also phenomenal, Best Film by Far this Year in January of all months, can't imagine any other topping this Masterpiece

Truly Funny, But Also a Clear Eye Opening Message From The Masses to the WOKE to #GOBACK2SLEEP
7 September 2019
What and incredibly Intelligent and Well Thought out Stand Up Comedy Show, I completely understand the other side's point of view and why they are upset, but this many positive reviews vs just a handful of obviously WOKE critics is just simply telling The WOKE, SJW, Cancel, LGBTQ------ and ever expanding pronouns, what they will not tell directly to their faces, either out of fear of being ruined or by simply not waiting to hurt their feelings, what we the mass majority are saying is that we as a country simply are not there yet, let things evolve at their own accord, forcing your point of views to the mass majority of the country just fosters resentment that wasn't there just a couple of years ago, Dave Chappelle touches on these points in the most Masterful of ways, Parodies, Analogies etc. they are all there, at one point he clearly say "I Can't Live in this World you're Trying to Create" and those words rig true to the mass majority of Americans, this incredibly forceful attempt to force ideology to the masses will never work and this is a prime example why it's backfiring, 1st it backfired through the Anonymity of a voting Booth back in November 2016, people recent others telling them what to say and do, Now this is another example of Americans expressing their true feeling through the Anonymity of an Audience Score / Review it's a massive disparity, it's not just on this site, other sites have a similar ratio of positive vs negative reviews, Rotten Tomatoes has it at 25% by critic and The Audience has it at 99% Audience Reviews with over 25,000 Reviews, it's scoring high everywhere, taking that into account, Given the nature of the World we live in now Obviously made the Concert that much Funnier I'm certain, but by it's own merit it's Truly Funny, But given the Landscape it Also a Clear Eye Opening Message From The Masses to the WOKE to #GOBACK2SLEEP

This Movie scores a 10 among the so Bad it's great Genre which earns this an unintentionally Funny Masterpiece score
18 December 2018
The Godfather scores a perfect 10 for me as far as excellence in Movie Making, so does The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Saying Private Ryan, Titanic, The Matrix, etc. then you have 10 scores for movies that you absolutely loved for the cool factor but you travel down the production value ladder like The Lost Boys 1987, Dead Alive 1992 etc. then you get to movies that are so cheesy and Bad that they become a must watch, in fact a multiple must watch, these movies sometimes happen by mistake and when they do that's when the magic really happens, Miami Connection did not set out to become a cult classic hilarious cheese camp, it wanted to capitalize on the Ninja Craze of the early 80s although it was dying by 1987, they threw in here Bike Gangs, Ninjas, Blood and Gore but cheesy and amateurish but trust me it makes it that much funnier, this movie turns out to be an Accidental Comedy Masterpiece while trying to be a serious Action, Martial Arts, Mystical, Romance, Revenge and you can also add 10 other plot elements in there to make this a Hilarious blender of unintentional comedic scenarios, like The Godfather also a 10 score but for very different reasons

Great Grindhousesque Flick
14 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Just saw this movie and loved it, a lot works really well and a lot is intentionally cheese bad and one hell of a fun ride, Vince Vaughn is great in this he immediately commands respect, in the way he walks slowly, in the way he talks and responds slowly, this is done intentionally to give him a Michael Myers/Jason type of Stalking type of look, the Violence in his brawls and kills range from high to graphic or even Extreme Ala (RIKI-OH: THE STORY OF RICKY 1991) level, it's a movie that is just fun to watch, it's not that the script was that good or that and I can only imagine the budget had to be minuscule because I'm assuming the pay of all these well-known actors combined had to be more than the budget for the type of movie this was, I highly recommend this movie for those that like ultra violent Grindhouse revenge type movies, I was raised on this stuff, good times

Fight choreography was sub par
24 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I think the show itself was good enough to give it a season 2 chance, some of the fights here are laughable, seriously sometimes you need to just hire unknowns that know the core material, this is a show about the ultimate martial artists so these actors need to know how to truly fight, you got directors like Garth Evans that understand who he needs to hire to make fight scenes incredible, and when they start shooting they deliver the film in record time, so going over budget will never be an issue there, hope they get it together because like I said it's a story about the ultimate martial artist, now you're stuck with the cast you signed on, now they need to take it to the next level, like they did with Keanu in the John Wick movies, Yuen Woo Ping trained him to move like a real martial artist for The Matrix, by the end of the trilogy he looked as believable as one can be that had no real martial arts training, season 2 of Daredevil was an improvement over the 1st one, lets hope they do the same for season 2 of this.

The Uncut Version is Great
22 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
this one might be a little tricky because it only shows a run time of 94 minutes and no other version so I'm not sure if that is the uncut version or if there is a shorter or longer version, in any case I've personally seen 2 versions of this movie, one is a great underground hostel type battle to the death gory hack and slash movie and the other is so watered down that it becomes a cheesy Bloodsport clone with death battles in it but with barely any blood and no gore, this movie is a perfect example of what some good old fashioned latex gore effects can do to increase the overall value of the film, it's a movie that could very easily been done as a PG-13 and yet, they knew what they had was a sub product that was limited by it's budget from the opening bell so they invested well where it could distinguish itself from all those American Ninja Crap movies, don't even get me started on those, to this day I've never understood why there was so many sequels of American Ninja, those and the Madea (A Big Dude In Drag) movies are a real head scratch-er, they were all bad and just got keep getting worse, anyways back to American Samurai uncut, it had really good fight scenes, the acting was good enough for what this is, and the Gore was superb, it's not the kind of Gore that you wouldn't normally see in a rated R movie back then, it's more of the Hard R variety or Unrated equivalent back in 1992 so I can see why there is a cut version of the movie but that version royally sucks, the uncut is really good, you'll know right off the bat what version you are watching with the graphic extraction of a bullet near the beginning, do yourself a favor and watch this gory little gem, it's what Mortal Kombat should be gore wise

Fantastic but could of been Perfect
1 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
you're probably wondering why my summary says Fantastic but could of been Phenomenal, well let me explain, this movie surpasses any expectations I had even for a Rocky movie, people will immediately say this is not a Rocky movie it's Creed movie it's a new story, and you'd be completely wrong, this movie continues the story of Rocky Balboa and just like you see in TV shows like The Walking Dead where they dedicate a show to do a back story on some character and then integrate them into the current story, well the same is done here, you see Creed getting in trouble as a youth with a short temper and likes to fight, fast forward several years and he finds out he's Apollo Creed's son, at this point the stories are starting to merge and when Adonis seeks out Rocky Balboa at his Restaurant still in business years later then it becomes a continuation of the Rocky Balboa story, yes the focus is on Adonis Creed but it's a continuation of the story not a side story and it is told beautifully, the movie for me was better than Rocky Balboa and obviously Rocky 5, but for me Rocky 1 thru 4 are still my favorites and for me are all a perfect 10, I'm a die hard Rocky fan and Creed would of benefited tremendously from a classic Rocky score, some of the Rocky music is in there but for a true Rocky movie fan it's just sprinkled lightly here and there throughout the movie, there is a scene towards the end of the movie that we actually get a Rocky movie score and that's when people at the theater came alive, I got goose bumps myself and felt the music really should of been more faithful to the Rocky series and make no mistake this movie was great, I truly loved it but it would of gone over the top to perfect if it had the appropriate score, I have no doubt you'll see a Fan Edit version of Creed in the future with the score reworked to be more in tune with a Rocky movie when the Blu Ray comes out, I've seen it done before with the recent release of A9 Prometheus (A9 being the editor) and a true die hard fan of Alien movies re worked the story and score of the movie even added deleted scenes and gave it a more Aliens movie franchise feel to it and in my opinion an improvement, A9 even re-did the Alien attack scene at the back of the bay doors to the ship and made the Alien look more like the traditional Alien but with notable differences, and trust me a Creed Fan Edit will be done because that's already the number 1 gripe with Rocky fans, the music, I can't wait to see it, but for now this will be the next best thing, great movie I give it a 9 out of 10

One of the best documentary type films i've seen
25 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This films is basically a reviewing of archived Psychic experiments that went horribly wrong, but it is done so well at times you think its real, you can tell the budget was not huge but it didn't matter because they used it wisely almost to the point of brilliantly, so the story unfolds as an interview type documentary on several scientists while showing the archived videos of the experiments, a bunch of Psychic researchers do simple experiments on hundreds of subjects with little to no real definitive results, they are almost at the end of their funding when a woman walks in and volunteers for testing, she is barely coherent at times but in that very 1st day she proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Psychic abilities are real, in the process of showing the videos and talking about the events, they show the real Black and White videos of the Russian woman that proved she could move small objects with her mind (these video clips are real not part of the movie videos), but this woman that they are testing now is beyond any subject that has ever been tested, suffice to say, things turn from bad to worse real quick, there is real tension throughout the film, the acting is fantastic, the ending felt slightly rushed but over all this was great, it's different and it's scary at times because the story is told in a multi layered type fashion to add realism, the interviewer is asking questions to a person that was present, you see their reactions as they are responding and sometimes showing the actual videos as they are still explaining and then show their afterthoughts, it was great, that's my opinion, you see Hollywood spending $100 million plus of films that end up being crap and you see films like this that the story drives the experience at a fraction of the budget, story telling at it's best, I do have to say that I'm bias in the sense that Psychic powers and Psychic research type films has always interested me tremendously so on films like this one, Chronicle, Scanners or even The Fury 1978 are always going to receive a high score from me if done well, and all those films mentioned including this one are scores of 10 in my book

Great Documentary and A must view for Manny Pacquiao fans
2 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
If you've followed Manny Pacquiao's career then have a basic understanding of what the Documentary is about, I say basic because this goes really deep, it doesn't pull any punches (no pun intended)it shows the devastating KO at the hands of Marquez in slow motion with such clarity and from different angles even more clearly than I've ever seen it, it reminded be of how clear the Kennedy Assassination was shown in the movie JFK, well the KO is shown more clearly than you've ever seen it, but it's necessary to tell the tale of Manny Pacquiao, sure it's a bias documentary, after all it's about Manny Pacquiao so what can you expect, this film was produced prior to the Brandon Rios fight, so I wouldn't be surprised if this documentary evolves to include more recent events up to maybe including the Mayweather match up, it shows a more detailed relationship between Manny Pacquiao and Alex Ariza, these guys were friends for sure, sad they're not working together anymore, the relationship between Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao is more of the father and son type, they love each other and it's shown in great detail, you'll see what a hectic schedule Manny had and why we saw a decline in his skills due to being unfocused leading up to the Marquez KO, there are limitations to everyone without exceptions and to how much you can fill your plate up before it overflows, this is show again in detail, his Politian schedule, his fundraising events, his preacher appearances, his singing concerts, his live appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, fight promotion tours etc. then add at least a couple of hours a day training at the boxing gym, and you can understand why something had to give, the tale is told beautifully, and leaves you uplifted at the end, truly a one of a kind man, one of the nicest men you'll ever meet, a humble man who consoles others after his devastating KO loss, a man of unwavering faith, and consoles those who are saddened by his loss with a simple "God wanted it this way for a reason" and God knows best, what a powerful message this documentary sends, you'll understand what I mean, it's not just a boxing documentary, it's also a motivational video and much more

Shaping Up to Be Epic for season 2
9 August 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This show started out good, it's had it's OK episodes and some great ones, but the good ones when they came were really good leading up to the Finale, which in my opinion was brilliant, couldn't find a single weakness in the finale, this show has a lot going for it, first off it follows different characters in individual circumstances and brings those individual character's story lines within clashing distance and it's been like that on several episodes, there is a definite sense of tension, you know the Oh S#%t! The stuff is really going to hit the fan when every thing comes out in the open, and this show has set itself up for greatness for season 2, think New Jack City meats Scarface, that's what Power season 2 can be, keeping it fresh with the sideline story development by go full force for the jugular in a rise to power drug lord story and just like Al Pacino's Michael Corleone in The Godfather III "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!", Ghost who wanted to go legit is being forced to step up to the ruthless drug lord plate which he didn't want and I cant wait to see it unfold, forget what this show was this season which I liked a lot but it was mainly a character development but season 2 is shaping up to be Epic if it continues on it's apparent course

Aces > > What an Incredible Series
18 June 2014
To say this FX series is better than the movie is a huge understatement, trust me when I tell you, I loved the movie, I've seen it countless times and it's that type of movie that is just timeless, if you're flipping thru the channels and come across it, you just have to watch it to the end from what ever point you catch it, just a great things go from bad to worse story, this series tops it in every aspect, I guarantee you'll remember Billy Bob Thornton's Lorne Malvo just like you remember Anthony Hopkins's Hannibal Lecter and Heath Ledger's The Joker as the perfect Master Manipulator villain, the series storyline even intertwines with The storyline from the Fargo movie in a perfect way, it has that tension that grabs you and you know something bad is going to happen, the series feels close enough to the Fargo movie but much darker, more graphically violent than the movie and just great character writing, there is talk that this series will be much like The True Detective series, where they use different actors every year to tell different tales, one of my all time favorite series, damn near perfect, ACES >> 2 Thumbs up!

The Best Of The Best, Nothing Comes Close Period
12 April 2014
just got back from seeing this movie, I have to be completely honest, I've literally seen thousands upon thousands of action movies, and I have to say with this one tops every movie that has come before it in action, brutality and relentlessness, it literally does not let go of your senses till the credits roll 2 and a half hours later, it has the best fight I've ever seen put on film, here's a good example of a good movie fight, Jet Li vs General Fugita in Fists of Legend 1992, That fight was epic because it had enough length to really get into it and very well choreographed, you can also add any and all of Tony Jaa's movie fights all of Bruce Lee's movie Fights as well as Jackie Chan's movie Fights, in short any fight you've ever seen in a movie would pale in comparison to the last major fight in the movie, trust me, it was Epic and Brutal in the best of ways, also this movie should really be rated NC-17 because of the non-stop Graphic Violence, there isn't any one particular scene that's uber graphic with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 but it's the sheer amount of violence throughout the movie, I for one loved every minute of it, I have to have this on Bluray the minute it comes out, will probably see it again before the week is up and can't recommend it enough, how do you top this movie? who the hell knows, maybe in part 3? if there is one.
