The Old Mill (1937)
The best Disney film ever!
I would watch this film almost everyday when I was a toddler, now that I am a teen, I still watch it often. This film has such beauty in it with the color, music, detailed animation, and backgrounds. This film also brings out my love for windmills (which I know may sound kind of crazy). The entire film was beautiful, but I felt that the love doves were kind of a little to childish.
Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas (1977)
This is one sad Christmas special.
I saw this for the first time last Christmas thinking it would be a fun happy festive Muppet christmas special, but it turned out to be just the opposite. I felt sorry for Emmet and his ma to go through all that trouble to enter the talent contest to get money to buy each other a nice gift, and then the Riverbottom Nightmare band coming in at the last minute and winning the money. The Riverbottom Nightmare band was a pain in the butt. Poor Emmet and ma, all they have now is each other. This is one sad Muppet Christmas special. If you want to have real muppet fun for a happy holiday, I suggest something like "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street", "Elmo saves Christmas", or "The Muppet Christmas Carol" if you want to have a happy muppet holiday. Don't watch Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, unless you DO want to have a sad holiday.
Franklin (1997)
I like this show (well I used to)
I would watch this how all the time. It was funny, and entertaining, and just a great show. The characters were great and the story-lines were suberb. Then all of the sudden, they started introducing new characters like crazy, and Bear started wearing a blue vest that made him look gay. That's when I stopped watching. If you want to watch Franklin, make sure it's the original episodes.
The Santa Clause 2 (2002)
Much better than the first one!
If you put both movies together, automatically you would chose SC2! The first one was okay, a little slow, and not much excitement, but here's the second one with a funny story, more story, and more info. I highly recommend this movie.
It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002)
Okay, I guess.
I saw this movie for the first time on NBC Friday 11-29-02. It was a pretty good movie, but I don't think it would be the kind of Muppet movie Jim Henson would make. I mean first of all, Pepe' using the word "sexy" every now and then, and Pepe saying "it would suck?" And I defenitly know Jim Henson wouldn't allow Kermit yelling "I WISH I'D NEVER BEEN BORN!" thirteen time a minute. This movie just isn't like a classic Muppet movie. Sure I can understand Nicky Holiday stealing the baseball diamond from "The Great Muppet Caper," but a business lady cheating the Muppets in a contract for their theater to turn it into a smoker's nightclub. If Jim Henson was here today, he would HATE this movie!
Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999)
Please ignore the last comment
Courage the Cowardly Dog is not a horrible show, it's the greatest show in the world! Yet it is sad, since 1999, Courage will be ending this November. 1999-2002, thats just sad. The show has just had four seasons and only thirteen episodes per season. Courage has brought happiness to my life, and should have to others. Let Courage live on forever!
Wimzie's House (1995)
A great TV show for puppet lovers
A great TV show for puppet lovers about an energetic purple haired girl named Wimzie who is a combination of bird and dragon. Wimzie's House is a daycare center where she gets to play, sing, and do crafts with her friends Horace, Jonas, and Loulou. The daycare is run by Wimzie's gone hundred, fifty year-old grandmother, Yaya who has "magical powers." Each episode teaches different themes including: copping with fears, sibling rivalry, trust, and knowing when to stop. Started in 1998, Wimzie's House is currently cancelled and not playing anymore, but is still a great show.
