Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (2000)
A good game AND Kari Wuhrer all in one!
This is the second best real time stategy game out there (starcraft being #1). The gameplay is fun and challenging. The cutscenes were pretty good, and any bad acted that may have occurred was shrouded by Kari Wuhrer's presence. Yea shes hot.
Gladiator (2000)
I liked it better when it was called Braveheart
yea thats right.
This movie is nothing more than a Braveheart wannabe. A man, happy with his life, looses his loved one/s and is forced to fight for freedom... and revenge.
I guess we get an Emporer that dreams of incest instead of a gay prince.
True Romance (1993)
Too Violent?
I don't believe I'm saying it, but this movie was just too violent. I'm all for stylized killing, but the violence in this movie was very gritty. I still enjoyed the movie (who wouldn't- this movie has the most badass cast ever) and it is good to see.
7/10
Das schreckliche Mädchen (1990)
It must be German humor
Me and my homies watched this movie together, since we are all in Deutsch class. The only reason this scheisse was funny was because of how 'schrecklich' it was. The jokes were never funny, especially how the money looked like a vagina if folded correctly, that was just wrong. Also at some points when they were in their living room, it showed a street background that was moving, so it looked like they were sitting on a couch that was on the back of a flatbed! That was easily the funniest part of this horrible movie. 3/10
Upright Citizens Brigade (1998)
One of the funniest shows ever
Everything about this show made me laugh. This was one of the funniest show I have ever seen. I can't even explain it, you just need to see it for yourself.
I hope they put it on DVD if they haven't (doubt they will but i can still dream...)
Kaubôi bibappu: Cowboy Bebop (1998)
Maybe Anime isn't all bad after all
I first saw this show on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, after two excruciatingly bad (and boring) animes. This made have low expectations of the next show on, Cowboy Bebop. After it was over I though it was decent and then went to bed. After the next few days I kept thinking of the show and eventually started liking it. I watched it many Saturdays in a row and I can finally say, maybe Anime isn't all bad after all.
Yu-Gi-Oh! (2000)
So when's the movie?
Yu-Gi-Oh has to be one of my favorite cartoons since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's about a boy, Yugi Moto, who must save his kidnapped Grandfather from an evil millionaire. How is he to do it? By playing Duel Cards on an island tournament, thats how. Each person he duels has their own motive for winning, whether it's to save a loved one (like his friend Joey), a personal vendetta (like Kaiba or Bandit Keith), or if they just want to buy more 'accessories' (Mia). I think seeing each character's personality, and how it reflects on their card playing, is one of the best aspects of this show. (especially Joey, he's so damn funny!)
This ain't no Pokemon folks, It's time to duel!
Fainaru fantajî VIII (1999)
dummy up FFVII freaks
it saddens me when i see final fantasy 7 fanboys criticize this game because it isnt more like 7. Most of these people have not even beaten the entire game, which is unfortunate since i think the best part of this game is the ending. (i believe this game has probably one of the best endings of any game i have played.) The point i'm trying to make is that this is NOT final fantasy 7, it is whole other game. VII fanboys say 'well if you like VIII your not a true FF fan.' this is entirely wrong, and the truth is the guys who are stuck on how 'incredibly awesome' 7 is can't even see the goodness in any of the other ffs. A friend of mine who is a hopeless 7 fanboy always says how amazing ff7 is and tell me stupid trivium that i dont even care about, like 'the roman numberal 4 in the temple of the ancients is IIII instead of IV.' personally i dont give a sh*t, but hes amazed by just simple stuff like that, just because its in ff7. also he hasnt even finished another ff, he think 6 is boring and 8 has a horrible plot. you ff7 fanboys out there need to expand your horizons and give ff8 a chance. I admit that at first I was not a huge fan of ff8, and in fact I hated it for a while. i then picked it back up after about a year just so i could say i finished it. after i had beaten i just said to myself wow that game was great, and immediately started it over and played through it again, this time in about a week or two. ff8 is not meant to be played half way though, you must play though to the end to find the beauty in it.
