Girls in Love (2003)
One of the best dramas on CiTV yet
"Girls in Love" was excellent. Being a teen girl myself, it was thoroughly enjoyable to know that people were going through worse dilemmas than me!
One thing which some people found disappointing was that it didn't remain true to the book. Having not read that particular book in the trilogy, I am forbidden to comment. But I must say that, faithful or not, it was great. Besides, they did say that it was only "based on" the book.
I hope they bring "Girls in Love" to new heights in the near future.
Trigger Happy TV (2000)
You can still manage to fall off your chair whilst laughing -- and that's with the repeats
How can anyone not love this TV show? In my opinion, it is one of the best British comedies, and most people agree with me.
The theme tune is amazing. I have been searching everywhere on the internet for it, but, unfortunately, no luck. Yet, now that I know there's a soundtrack, I'll buy that. All of the music is superb. The song title captures the sketches to perfection.
Even though some of the sketches are, in a way, repetitive, they show it on a different angle. You can still manage to fall off your chair whilst laughing -- and that's with the repeats.
Dom Joly is amazing with all the sketches. If you watch this, I can assure you that you will laugh. It is laugh-a-minute hilarity on this programme.
Next time you here a Nokia mobile, you will start laughing. And that's a promise!
The Parent Trap (1961)
Spectacular!!!
This movie is one of the best sixties one out there. It is much better than the 1998 version. Haley Mills plays both characters to perfection (as always), and it has a great plot with unexpected twists and turns. You really should see this!!!
