Peacemaker (2022– )

Funny and entertaining

It's a solid 8 for me but the intro song and dance is so extra and hilarious I have to bump it up to a 9. I laugh everytime i see it. The show is funny and typically James Gunn. If you like Guardians of the Galaxy and the second Suicide Squad movie you'll dig this too.

The Expanse (2015–2022)

Amazing sci-fi!

I can't believe I haven't seen this before. I watched it all in about two weeks and can't wait for the next season this december. The science is super believable and the fiction is top notch.

Cara Gee is phenomenal as Camina Drummer and has great chemistry with Ashford. Amos, Gunny and Alex are favourites too. CGI is top notch and so is the design of the spaceships and other sets. The whole premise about how humankind expands in the solarsystem and the classes, tensions and racism that it creates are super believable. Great worldbuilding. Highly recommend if you like space stuff.

Better than expected. Dont wach the dubs. Original is way better. Sorry about the VIPs they are terrible. Other than that. Amazing until the last second.....

Trainwreck

Utter trainwreck. Lead is not likeable at all. Ripping off elderly and then acting like she's a lioness who makes it in life. I was happy she got shot in the end. Oops spoiler. Dont bother watching it.

The Mandalorian (2019– )

Best Star Wars since the original trilogy.

Jon Favreau should be in charge of all future Star Wars projects. It's exactly how it should be. I will not give 10 stars because nothing is perfect but this is very very close. Hats off!

The Witcher (2019– )

What a terrible piece of....

I just finished the first episode and it's a real mess. Trying to be 'cool' and riding on the Game of Thrones vibe, but its a complete and utter mess. What is the battle about? What is the 'love' scene? One cool fight scene in the end isnt gonna save this disaster... Just watched ep2 and I changed my rating from 3 to 1 stars. It's amateur storytelling that doesnt go anywhere and a production budget is not going to fix that. Something happens and it gets explained in the most amateur way. The beauty of Game of Thrones was that you would instantly be sucked in the story and knew what was happening. I still dont know what's going on in this mess.

San Andreas (2015)

Yes its cheesy. But enjoyable

Cheesy? Yep. But who cares. You should know that the moment you step in. Enjoyable? For sure! Dwayne Johnson proves himself again one of the most likeable characters in hollywood right now. All the disaster movie cliches are present, yes, but I still enjoyed this flick. Dont expect a masterpiece, but it's great if you have a big hd screen and a free sunday afternoon.

The Umbrella Academy (2019–2024)

A bit predictable, but a fun watch if you can get past Ellen Page

I enjoyed watching The Umbrella Academy overall. It's not a masterpiece, but has some very cool scenes and the music is brilliant. I did find myself zoning out at points or doing something else because it can drag along at some points. Klaus, Five and Hazel definitely stand out. Vanya (Ellen Page) is dreadful. Her acting is not on point, annoying even. Her face has one expression halfway through the show and after that her so called anger outbursts feel very fake. Halfway through the show you kindof guess whats going to happen and what (who) will cause the apocalypse. The final episode was therefore not the best one.
