Garden State (2004)
In response to those who didn't "get it"...
It's kind of getting obnoxious continuously reading comments by users who claim that the fact that they fail to relate to this movie, or the characters in it, makes it a bad film. Especially when the people making said comments are 30+ year olds from Los Angeles or Topeka or Florida or some other ridiculous location.
The movie is called Garden State. For all the geography retarded movie-goers, New Jersey is the Garden State, and it is NOT in New England (That's just stupid).
The fact that the characters in the film and the location of the film are placed in New Jersey (for the majority) should be explanation enough as to why these people failed to relate.
The film relates to people who are at a point in their life in which they constantly feel numb and misplaced.
People from New Jersey can easily relate to the film, for obvious reasons.
People who want to make a difference in the world, but despite their best efforts have failed to do so, can also relate to the characters.
and the people who say they cant relate, it is obvious to me, are in denial of the fact that they have failed to make the difference they were raised to believe they could make...
but then again people are going to call this comment stupid probably
Cheats (2002)
Hillarious
Ok the different ideas for cheating is nothing new, but the dialouge in this movie, especially the lines of Handsome Davis, were rediculously funny. This movie has one of the most memorable scenes of any movie i have ever watched (I'LL TAKE IT RIGHT NOW). I definetly think everyone should see this one. Its just hillarious.
Highway (2002)
Good movie.
i thought this movie was pretty good for what it was. It wasnt supposed to be a full plot movie. It was made for dialogue between stoner kids driving to seattle. I thought it was pretty good. Its like 5 in the morning here so im tired thus no creativity, but lets put it this way. This movie gave me lots of good quotes to use with my friends...sooooo i liked it.
Fight Club (1999)
Best Movie Ever
I'm sorry but all the people who thought this movie was too robust, too over the top, to blatant, that was the point of the book and the movie. This movie is revolutionary, it sets forth a philosophy unparalleled by any, Pluto, Socrates, these guys have nothing on Tyler Durden. People need to really watch this movie and realize how trapped they are by society and the way they live their lives. Personally, I'm trying to hit rock bottom. Ciao.
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
I'm sorry, call me a blasphemer, but Empire has to move over...
Many people, including myself, have argued the best Star Wars movie is a title belonging to The Empire Strikes Back. Obviously, its a great, but honestly, I've never been so happy with any other movie as I am RIGHT NOW with Episode II: Attack of the Clones. This movie is unbelievable, and blew me away. I am a huge Star Wars fan, and this movie has the caliber of greatness that Star Wars movies deserve. This movie, in my opinion, is not only the best Star Wars movie ever, but I truly believe that it is the best movie ever made. Undoubtedly, this movie has made up for the mistake that was Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and has reset Star Wars to the top of the movie series ladder of greatness, a comfy spot it was made for. George Lucas is a genius and if I was polytheistic I would believe he was a god. He really has out done himself this time. I plan to see it again at least another 3 times.

Addendum: Natalie Portman (Padme) is ridiculously beautiful. Just thought I'd throw that in there.
