Luka marries Eowyn, hideous accents and icepicks
5 September 2004
OK, first off, I am a total sucker for everything Miranda Otto stars in, so imagine my surprise when she turned up in this movie. Not only was she married to Goran Visnijc, a gazillion months pregnant and the mother of the most annoying kid ever, but that's another story.

I failed to see any good traits in this movie, so I'll just sum up the things that stood out.

I thought the female detective had a very daft name, the first couple of times, I thought she was called Loser. Oh, and minor nitpick, at one point in the movie, Strother calls her Lucy, although the above cast list says something else.

The little girl plot was just stupid.

I fail to see the logic in moving to England for peace and quiet, and ending up near the train tracks.

The icepick and the rat were skeevy, I'll give them points for that.

Think that that's the most important things in this movie, all the rest is just useless plot lines.

Boston Public (2000–2006)
Love this show!

I loved this show. The turmoil at you're average American High School as seen from the other side is definitely more fascinating then most of the teenage sitcoms i've seen over the last few years. The lovely Nicky Katt as Harry Senate, is probably one of the more memorable characters on the show, too bad he left. Not too many teachers would pull out a gun in front of their students. I would strongly recommend this show to any teacher in the world who believe that they are the only ones who have troublesome students/co-workers

After watching the trailer for "that 80's show" i thought it might be a nice evening filler,it looked funny and witty.NOT! I was seriously dissappointed upon watching the actual show.If you want my advice, this show sucks! Its not funny and totally not amusing.I'd stick with the 70's show if I were you.

Ernstige delicten (2002–2004)
well built police drama

When i first watched this show,i was somewhat sceptic. But as the series went along i started to like it.The show is about a group of detectives working on violent crimes. Its kind of like Law & Order SVU,but in typical dutch crime writing with a lot of insight into the characters.Central line trough the first series is the hunt for a pyromaniac who burns his female victims alive.Thats about all i can tell you;but id surely recommend it if you like "Baantjer"or other dutch police shows.

Giving Up the Ghost (1998 TV Movie)
Great entertainment

I absolutely loved this movie. It started out very sad with the griefstricken Anna not being able to cope with her husbands death,so she tries to talk to him. Then it turns quite hilarious as her prayers are answered and she finds her husband (or his ghost, for that matter) in her bathtub. After the initial shock, they try to finish what they started before his death. I loved this movie,Marg Helgenberger is a wonderful actress, and although i thought the story was a bit thin, its great Saturday night entertainment!
