The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Avant-Garde Filmmaking; Missed Points Will Be Understood Later in History
While many are entirely split on M. IV (The Matrix Resurrections), I am entirely convinced that it's an amazing movie due to this very outcome. Why? Not many entirely understood the Matrix when it first released, people were more blown away by it's effects and visual presentation. Today, we are given the exact opposite; a less attractive paint of coat, yet, has an even more deeper approach to our reality that many completely missed while judging it's outer appearance. In other words, those that didn't like it didn't understand it's approach. They expected more of the same. What we got was exactly the message everyone needs right now, not 1999 us, but 2020 us. Spoiled by marvel films that mimic matrix hero concept and effects, this the anti-sequel; anti-matrix; anti-reboot that directs us toward being anti-us.
As in the past, so as Now: Many will Hate what they can't digest/process/understand because they're in denial over the way their "red pilled" lives currently exist as. ;) It's not a special effects over the top masterpiece, it's an abstraction of that very experience. It's purpose is a metaanalysis of it's previous stories tied to our present system and it's "woke" culture as another layer of digital distraction to keep us entranced as energy sources (in a debt system, currency is the energy).
The split reviews (literally love or hate reviews, no in-between), is a testament upon the Dynamics that have existed during the past several years (post-Trump). It's doing exactly what it set out to do. Now only will some of us awake to it's message while the rest choose to remain in a loop of artificial dreams; blue pills choosing a metaverse over our universe.
On that note, hope you enjoy now knowing what type of film the fourth is. It's has humor toward today, while existing as an indie action dark romance (the bond of Trinity and Neo is the heart of this entry, whereas the brain is pointed toward our reality). It's not anything like what has come other than repeating the core message of control. Beyond that, it's a huge breath of fresh air for anyone clever & smart enough to understand it.
"If we don't know what's true, we can't resist. They took your story, something that meant so much to people like me...and turned it into something trivial. That's what the Matrix does. It weaponizes every idea." - Bugs, M. IV.
The Box (2009)
Huge improvement over Southland Tales!
Before I get started, This is not a Rip-off of The Twilight Zone episode, this is a great adaptation of the short story, "Button, Button." On to the review: I entered the theater with mixed feelings going towards this movie, seeing how I did expect Southland Tales to be an epic masterpiece and was not. Well all I have to say is, "Wow!" Richard Kelly has finally got his head out of his @$$ and decided to go back to his Donnie Darko roots which started his career. Getting that out of the way, this is a really good flick. It keeps you thinking and paying close attention throughout the entire movie. I love how they expanded the original short story into something so magnificent. The visuals are beautiful, the story is fun, and the acting was great (except for Cam, she didn't win me over at the end but one bad actor isn't going to stop me from giving this film a perfect rating, Richard Kelly deserves it.) If a lot of people, including you, don't go to see this movie, you won't only be missing out on a great flick, you'll also be messing up a great future for Kelly because this is his last movie if it isn't successful. Trust me, he is getting better and better with his film-making, give this a chance. People only hate on this movie because everyone expected a happy settle ending. Sorry to say this, but the greatest movies of all time don't always have happy endings with justice served. Anyone who is anyone will go see this movie, it is well worth your money and time!

A Very Good Over The Top Little Package!!!
This DVD/CD combo is like a gift from the rock gods themselves! Not only is this showing off their captivating live abilities, but it also introduces us to 9 great b-sides and 2 remixed songs! The highlight tracks of the album side of it are Dancing Dead, Tension, Until The End, and Girl I Know. I recommend downloading those tracks and giving them a listen. The DVD side of it is perfect. Almost an hr and a half worth of concert footage and wet in the pants performance! Synyster Gates doing his amazing guitar abilities, Zacky Vengeance playing his amazing flowed rhythm alongside, Johnny Bass putting the ASS in BASS, The Rev doing his on beat, double bass drumming, and M Shadows doing a great job and singing and throwing in some screaming as well. Just when you think the concert is over, they come back out and play an extra song for everyone, which was my personal favorite, "A Little Piece Of Heaven." I HIGHLLYYYYY recommend this album/DVD pack to everyone because it is only $14.99 and you get more than what you pay for!
