Glitch (2015)
I simply disagree.
1. GENRE:
Who? Who decided to falsely claim this belongs in the horror genre?
Have you ever seen zombies - but they're actually confused, dirty, naked, attractive, moody, and horny desperate people?
DRAMA, simply put, and.. Mystery. Murder. Survival. Romance.
2. RATING:
I did not expect this to be a 7... Maybe a 6,5. Taste differs, but I've never(!) seen a show written so sloppily. It keeps on changing details of the backstory and not making any sense.
How does a main character claim she died in 1998 (not 1988), suddenly a whole decade older than nineteen? Did the actress say wrong, or not care about how poorly written this is?
3. SEASON 3:
Okay, wow. I completely disagree with these reviews.
- Season 1 - Shockingly boring. Screwing someone's best friend, blabla, cheating, bla, pregnancy, blablabla.. Whiny, heartless and miserable.
- Season 2 - Meh..?
- Season 3 - .. Better. Some things will NEVER make sense... but there IS actually some cool thoughts behind the revelations, once the mystery actually gets somewhat uncovered. Wasn't worth getting there, but I'm happy that they FINALLY were focused on telling the story.
Travelers: Helios 685 (2016)
If the ending doesn't piss you off...?
This is marked as the highest rated episode. I just can't believe it. I've decided to ignore most of these thoughtless errors, still giving it a chance. This episode disappoints me so much.
The military is shooting travelers (who are risking their lives for humanity, btw) to the ground. Blondie asks permission to use deadly force, (despite how their team has already shot military personnel...) And she's denied permission. What the??....
They leave one single person to finish their heroic mission... Only to stand alone in front of armed soldiers, while ignoring their orders, so she's ...... shot dead! Who could have prevented that? Nobody, apparently.
......This was the mission so important that everyone was prepared to die for it to work out.
Remember how we've seen travelers taking over an entire cult, at the same exact moment? Well, this time they have so much faith in themselves that they'd rather jump into ONE single soldier at a time. All while ignoring that ONE GUY killing everybody.
.......Just why? Since he was standing a few steps further away?
....I guess their legs were so tired that their brains malfunctioned.
......Eventually a traveller does take his body, which proves that nothing was stopping them from doing that a little earlier.
#Saraitda (2020)
Feels like a high quality school project...
I didn't exactly enjoy this, but I didn't hate watching it either. At times it was kinda slow, especially in the beginning, despite how the zombie outbreak happened immediately.
I think I expected something more unique, perhaps in the form of a more raw desperation, up-close and personal angle, getting a bit more emotionally relatable. Scenes could reveal a bit more realness through the character. I didn't really connect in that way though.
...Maybe if more desperation had been shown throughout. The situation didn't seem as bad as it was trying to portray. As an example, he was probably starving a lot, but it didn't seem to matter much. And there's a lot of inconsistency in how dangerous the zombies are. Sometimes they're running around madly seeking to eat you up, but other times they'd kinda ignore what's going on, which made it feel like they were just actors in a theme park.
I thought it was a bit endearing and charming though, which caught me off-guard. I wasn't expecting that there's some sweetness to be found in this movie.

Why slaughter the entirety of this show in season 2...?
The first season was definitely worth watching. I'm trying to figure out why the 2nd season lost it all, as I fell inlove with the 1st season, but ended up finding nothing worth caring about in the 2nd.
And as it turns out... The plot of this show was actually based on it's original webtoon. The 2nd season's storyline doesn't take place in the webtoon, as expected...
It seems like the show was taken over by a whole different set of creators.
During season 1, the monsters and their encounters were much more intense, captivating and so much more interesting. The whole setting was claustrophobic, and quite challenging in itself. It was all very suited for this imaginative horror show.
... In season 2 that's what I was most disappointed about. It seemed like the monsters didn't belong in the same horrifying universe anymore, and they were no longer a major part of the story.
Why shift so much focus onto constant drama between a variety of uninteresting, unlikeable, unbearable characters? It's frustrating how nobody is getting along. Everyone argues, slaps and punches each other. Never-ending bitterness, tension and moody whining through it all..? Liking someone apparently means being inlove with a person who doesn't care about your existence at all. Too many are simply heartlessly cruel, as well.
What is there to love about the show, anymore? Is it just meant to get watched, not meant to be enjoyed?
I'd recommend season 1, but to ignore that there's more episodes after. All we can do now is hope that season 3 might find it's way back and somehow remember how it was meant to entertain, or perhaps some of us should just go ahead and read the webtoon instead.

..........? Oh.
I love the art & animation style, it kept me watching for a few episodes. It wasn't worth it, though. Not imaginative - why was it made into an animated cartoon? Exaggerative, but weak.
The jokes... either so mainstream that they'll fail to force a laugh.. or hardly recognized as a joke at all. Simply dark perspective. Bitterness and anger could've been way more entertaining. It's often a mood killer. Lacks energy, no passion.
Watching it feels a bit like getting sleepy-drunk on an early evening after a disappointing week. If you'll watch I'd recommend to mute the volume and turn off subtitles, then run it in the background. Might be worth it... sometimes.
