My top favorite films of 2016 that I've seen so far.
Three Categories: How was it? Is it worth watching again? How was it enjoyable?
How to conduct a Personal Movie Review.
"I thought it was __1__. The movie was __2__. If I were to buy it, I would probably __3__."
1) The Initial Thought: -HOW WAS IT? It was... ***** Excellent ("I loved this movie!" It had a great story and characters! Recommended to everyone!) OR **** Great (The script was very well done. Engaging characters and unique storyline. Recommend to some.) OR *** Good (The script was just good. I personally enjoyed most of it. Recommend to only those interested.) OR ** Okay... (It was okay. Not the worst thing I've seen, but decent enough to be on my top list. Recommend to a select few.) OR *Mediocre (Don't bother. Waste of money and time. Not memorable. Not recommended.)
2) The Explanation: -WHY DID YOU LIKE IT? *** Engaging (The story kept your undivided attention throughout. Left you thinking after watching.) OR ** A Popcorn Flick (It's a fun, edge of your seat kind of ride. Sometimes just a good movie to turn your brain off and just eat popcorn to. Might revisit once or twice a year.) OR * Purely Visuals (It was just visually entertaining. Best part about the movie were the visuals. MIGHT return to re-watch for its creativity.)
3) The After-Thought: -IS IT WORTH WATCHING AGAIN? ** Re-Watch Often (I enjoyed it. It's a movie that I will possibly revisit several times a year.) OR * Watch Once in a While (I'll check this movie out occasionally, maybe once a year.) OR {ZERO STARS} Forget it (Regret spending money on it. One rental or screening was the only time I will watch this movie.)
