The Interest of Love (2022)
Really enjoying this
I have 3 episodes left and am really enjoying this show. The actors have a lot of depth and the story is engaging. Having watched Yoo Yeon-Seok in Mr. Sunshine (a must watch!), he is not disappointing in this show and I mainly watched it to see him at first. He conveys the implied emotion on his face without even saying a word, he is a very good actor!
This is a show about love and discrimination based on upbringing and the amount of money you have. It also shows us how important timing can be to a relationship and how the choices we make affect not only ourselves, but can have a profound impact on others.
I am puzzled by the low ratings given by other viewers. Perhaps they like action or crazy storylines, or perhaps they like popcorn shows where they dont have to think much and where there isn't much character development?
In any case, go into it with an open mind and don't let the other reviews prevent you from watching. At least give it a chance.

I really wanted to like it...
After watching D. P with the male lead, I was excited to watch Snowdrop. I even got a Disney plus account just to watch it. It started off good, a bit unrealistic in parts, but that's ok. Then I felt like it started to go a bit downhill. I found myself getting a bit bored, or feeling like things were just dragging on too long. They could have cut it down by 4 episodes and still accomplished what they wanted to. The main thing that bothered me was SO much time was spent on the time they were all in the hall being hostages, that I felt the storyline between the 2 main leads wasn't strong enough. I felt like they should have developed their relationship and their love more.

WATCH THIS SHOW!
I have never written a review before, but I specifically made an account just to write this one.
WATCH. THIS. SHOW! I am not new to foreign shows with subtitles, but this one blew me away and is likely the best show I have ever seen, period! I am currently on episode 15 and am dreading its end.
The actors do such an AMAZING job. They convey every emotion honestly and you FEEL it. The chemistry is there. You will laugh with them and cry with them, literally every episode. You will root for the characters and feel for them and care about them, long after you have finished the series. There are many life lessons throughout the show and it is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. It is full of humor and an unlikely romance is thrown in there, all amongst the funny parts.
We do not get this quality of television in North America, we just don't. I am so happy I tried out the first episode because I was hooked! You will not be disappointed watching this show. The cast and crew did an amazing job and I am already searching for new Korean shows to watch.
This one will stick with me for a long time and I plan to start it over again as soon as I finish.
