The Menu (2022)
pretentious
The movie is as pretentious as the food that is served, it's also similarly unfilling/unfulfilling.
It's also derivative, this kind of thing has been done before, more than once.
It's no a horror movie, it's not funny. It might be a thriller, but just barely.
The production values are good, decor and stuff. This might be it's only merit.
The two main protagonists are good actors, but the format is so formal that it's a waste of their talent.
After a while the end is completely predictable, so there goes the thriller.
In the end all that is left is the form, not the content. Much like the food.
The Elon Musk Show (2022)
Good insight into Elon Musk
This documentary series gives a very good insight into Elon Musk's world, past, emotions and obviously all he has done over the last decades, which in itself is mind boggling.
This documentary is of very good quality, it also shows you plenty of interviews with family and co-workers and also an insight into how emotional he is. Steve Jobs might have been pretty cold and distant, Elon Mush certainly isn't. His honesty is refreshing.
It shows you in a very eloquent and in depth way his evolution from bullied little kid to one of the world's most innovative engineers and entrepreneurs. It's one hell of a ride.
