I really enjoyed this program when it came out in 1976. It always vaguely reminded of me of Welcome Back Kotter. You have the joker with the heart of gold in Sharkey;and his crew his made-up a stereotypical misfits that we can all identify with. Sadly, as the show progressed, the scripts became more and predictable. We knew exactly how each character was going to react towards CPO Sharkey's tirade. One can't also fail to notice that Don Rickles was a bit to old for the part. He was pretty overweight to be allowed to stay in the military. Having said all of this, i am enjoying the reruns that I'm seeing on television now.

The coolest Dracula movie ever!

I am a keen fan of all of the Christopher Lee Dracula movie, but this one is my favorite because it hip, modern and full of pretty young women. Johnny Alucard put me in mind of Little Alex from A Clockwork Orange, but he had a neater car. This movie is set in London during the swinging Sixties and Seventies. Great fun!
Peter Cushing is once again the cool. Calm and collective Professor Van Helshing (a grandson of the original). It is his job to drive a stake through the heart of Dracula before the count can infect England with is deadly kisses. The soul of the Professor is also at stake (no pun intended).
Christopher Lee's Dracula is once again superlative!
