Seven Years in Tibet (1997)
Better than Krippendorff's Tribe? Yes.
I have one thing to say to people who don't like this film 'shut up. shuttttt up. shuuuuuttttt uppppp." I actually am in my seventh year of living in tibet and this film is painfully realistic. I too have been ice skating with a buddhist monk and have occasionally found it cold. Spot on, lads. The only thing that has kept me going in this chilly, chilly place is being able to pick up channel 5 from a small tv aerial i found beneath a rock. Every saturday afternoon I watch 'The Mag' and it helps me stay sane. I think that if you don't like this film you are a total Kundun. It's the best film since Krippendorff's Tribe.
Cops and Robin (1978)
Too Beard Like?
Few films have summarised the relationship between man and machine as acutely as Cops And Robin. Borgnine's turn as John Cleaver (he was originally to be called Ben Reid, but the name, bizarrely was ditched for being "too beard-like" by director John T Dugan) is an all time best. Yes, even better than his pug-faced turns in Marty, Airwolf and Baseketball. His android partner is perhaps even better. Overall, Cops And Robin is not only the film with the best title ever but one of TV's finest hours. I was in a 24-hour petrol ststion the other day and the man behind the glass agreed! so it's just me and man named Raj at the moment but the campaign to bring Cops and Robin back begins here!

Smoke Signals (1998)
Near genius
The question is can you handle it? cos you aint seen nothing like it. Even better is the soundtrack: John Wayne's Teeth is so moving i nearly cried. But why does the film make no sense? it's rubbish. Dont pretend to like it. I couldve watched the phantom menace. And that bit where he saves that girl from a car crash and then cant be arsed to run anymore? still john waynes teeth is good. Best film ever. Hello Reidy
