El Reviewer Random: Equestria Girls (2014)
Meh.
The cafeteria song slaps. It occupied my 5 year old head pretty much all the time. Even as I'm writing this, I want to head bang to it.
Other than that, it was pretty eh, even as a kid.
Sunset could step on my face, slam me in a dumpster, call me a fat a** little b**** boy and I'd still adore her.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Rainbow Rocks (2014)
Best Equestria Girls movie and quite possibly the best My Little Pony movie.
Amazing. I loved (and still love) the Sirens. I hate the Rainbooms for constantly interrupting their songs. Especially Nothing Can Stop Is Now. It is a travesty their song didn't last longer. But overall the songs slapped harder than Spider-Man slapped his clone's cheeks in that one weird video. (I'm sorry for that..) Twilight was kinda annoying in the movie. Rainbow Dash was awesome (as she has stated many a times). Sunset was a bit cringier in this movie than others but to be fair, she was kinda just left in the background more than the others.
Great movie. Highly recommend it. Was my omniromantic awakening. Please, for your sake, watch it. The Sirens are best girls and I love them.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Legend of Everfree (2016)
But cringe at points but overall pretty cool
Cringed at Embrace The Magic cus it was a bit random and stuff. Wasn't vibing with how Twilight's love interest was a guy who seems in his late 20's at the least. The first song and Gloriosa's solo slapped. Kinda wish Sunset and Flash got a little more closure than just "Geez, tough love." but go off I guess. Derpy had one line and I am forever betrayed, give best girl more screen time, please, for my sake.
If I were to write down what the plot was, it would be more so a paraphrase of what happened then a general idea of the plot. It's more so events one after another than an actual plot but I don't really mind.
Gloriosa's villain persona wasn't all that impressive besides the transformation. The little "dun dun dun" sound effect that played on her reveal was pretty funny tho. Overall pretty good, I enjoyed it when I was a kid, and I enjoy it now still.
