Disappointing and depressing
1 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Well shot but very depressing to me. My husband & I found very little humor in the movie although lots of folks around us were laughing. Very early on I felt there was a sinister undercurrent and I agree with Colin Farrell's comments in the Trivia section - especially that this is a movie about "the disintegration of joy". I should have trusted my first instinct and not been swayed by a review that praised the visuals and the music. I found the music minimally appealing - and have since read that the director specified no traditional music. Too bad. Can't think of anyone I would recommend this to.

Very Well Done Satire
4 February 2022
This movie won't appeal to everyone, especially today, due to all the "Wokeness" so prevalent and so demeaning in our society. It was an extremely well done satire of all of the stereotypes: black, white, Italian, police, women, men, prostitutes, "John's", etc. And the folks who wanted to be like each of those stereotypical people. If we can't laugh at ourselves, we will never get any better. And this movie definitely laughs at each and every stereotype. While I didn't find all of the jokes to be funny, most of them were. What more can you ask for but an entertaining movie that makes it's point well?
