The Invitation (II) (2022)

I don't understand the hate lol.

Look, I think most people should know by now to just stay away from trailers. They haven't been the same or good for a while now.

Most of them, including this movie's trailer literally summarize the story and give away the plot. I didn't even last 30 seconds into the trailer because of this and saved myself the disappointment.

Also to be honest the movie was actually quite decent, not bad at all. I don't get why people are talking down on it because trust me when I say, there are worse movies out there. And most movies I'm talking about are the mainstream ones.

Sure, it had a few hiccups, the ending could've been worked on more - also perhaps more explaining should've been done as well but the movie works well with the genre it went for - this is your typical fantasy almost goth like vampire story. If you're into that, totally go for it, although put your expectations aside to enjoy the ride.

Detention (2020– )

Very Touching

I liked almost everything about this!

The storyline was good, even though sometimes it seemed a bit slow but everything was revealed in a neat way.

The visual effects were great, the actors did a good job, I did feel myself getting more and more connected with each character, even the ones that pissed me off.

I also love how everything came together in the end. Vengeance does bring more pain and that's what this series was trying to tell us. Sometimes just acceptance is enough to bring you peace.

I say go for it if you're into paranormal/psychological shows.

I see people complaining about it not being a horror, I honestly didn't even go into it thinking of it as a horror so my expectations weren't high in that regard. It was still nice regardless.

Fidelity (2022– )

It's nothing new, but it doesn't mean it's bad.

This has been done many times. I was expecting something a bit more fresh and new but the overall story wasn't bad tbh.

But it could've been a lot more than what it offered.

Night Teeth (2021)

Cringe.

Honestly I had high hopes for this movie but it never took itself seriously.

There were certain dialogues that made me pause and cringe.

The movie literally had nothing new to offer. It was predictable but most of all, it was hard connecting with the characters, even the villain.

It's just a waste of time.

Sang Krasue (2019)

I am IMPRESSED!

This movie checked all the boxes.

Good story line, Emotional, And the characters were well made.

Even the ones who aren't likeable, I still felt interested in knowing them.

The pacing was good too, I had no idea where it was headed but was impressed throughout.
