Unfrosted (2024)
So Fun!
The past reviews utterly suck. How anyone can't find these brilliant lines delivered by a host of comedic mega-talent funny is beyond me!
I laughed out loud which is uncommon with most of our comedy movie selections offered these days. Cheap production this is not; I can't even manage to get to the end of most without removing from my watch list.
Unfrosted targets the history of the "sugar-pushers" resulting in an oh-so-naturally-produced endorphins and dopamine fix. Zero calories but addictive indeed!
A real, energetic and great comedy. Ridiculously true!
On a side note I purchased a box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes 2 years ago and I'm fairly certain the box, and its contents, were literally from 1975. Gag!
Ozark (2017)
Deviant Behaviour
SE3 Epi 3: Stressed me out.
Wendy is more hateful as the series airs. Kudos.
Brother Ben: delightfully unhinged. Likable!
Helen should have horns. Bravo.
Ruth needs a swear jar. Someone hug that feral cat.
Poor Darlene. I almost feel bad for her. Almost.
No! Not Marty! No! Hugging my chihuahua for comfort.
Normally a third season isn't as strong as the first but this...! So, so good.
The Sinner (2017)
Season 3 Disappointing
Season 1&2 were quite suspenseful but I can barely stomach season 3. Most characters exhibit incredibly daft behaviour which causes the audience to lose interest and seek better content.
Better Things: Rising (2017)
The Breakup
"...boooooooo!"
Ha! Killer.
I love this woman.
That is all.
True Detective: If You Have Ghosts (2019)
Life...
..can sometimes be complicated unfair unexpected painful and these two characters are a great example of a sorrowful end line. Ejogo, McNairy, Fisher-so talented.
Let's face it - quality television has become nearly extinct. The arrival of a much anticipated season 3 of True Detective was equivalent to that finally delivered lost-in-the-airport luggage. I couldn't wait to tear open episode one.
Ali & Dorff lead an incredible duo each with their acquired burdens. The 'scene' in episode 5 was especially heartbreaking. Love the time period shifts. I just wish the sound was a smidge better. Looking forward to knowing...
What. Happened.
