The return of Big Smith, a beautiful bounty hunter, John Bly and the usual mayhem you have come to expect with Brisco! Brisco has a bounty on his head for murder and every bounty hunter in the land is out to collect it. Looking for a quick getaway a beautiful lady offers to hide Brisco, turns out it is none other than Crystal Hawks (played by Sheena Easton). After escaping her, Brisco runs into John Bly, but gets foiled again by Crystal Hawks. Striking a deal with her they set off with Lord Bowler & Socrates Poole to find Big Smith before John Bly does. The trail leads them to a secret government location. Brisco meets up with Big Smith who tells him more secrets about the Orbs.

Washed up Pirates

Enter Blackbeard LaCutte a pirate of the seven seas who was forced off the seas and now rides the outland in a modified wagon that looks vaguely like a pirate ship. Blackbeard LaCutte is also one of John Bly's men who killed Brisco's father. Brisco is sent on a secret mission to put Blackbeard LaCutte out of business. Meanwhile Lord Bowler finds Socrates Poole in a bar and ferrets from him the whereabouts of Brisco. On his way to find Blackbeard LaCutte, Brisco rescues a family with a sick boy. While sneaking into Blackbeard LaCutte's cave to get medicine for the boy Lord Bowler & Brisco get caught. Blackbeard LaCutte puts them quicksand but they manage to escape with the help of Comet! Blackbeard LaCutte changes his mind and keeps Lord Bowler while he ransoms Brisco. Brisco escapes only to return with the help of the sick boy's father. Together they nab the pirate's henchmen and free Lord Bowler. Brisco has the final showdown with Blackbeard LaCutte by the same quicksand. Ultimately Blackbeard LaCutte gets sucked down by the quicksand.

Brisco is on the trail of a boy who has been kidnapped by John Bly. But John Bly manages to foil Brisco plan. Meanwhile John Bly also kidnaps Prof. Albert Wickwire to help his uncover the secrets of the Orb. Socrates Poole reveals to Brisco that they have a piece of Orb. Touching it Brisco gets a flashback to when he first came in contact with the Orb, it also causes the surprise return of Brisco County Sr. . Brisco County Sr. gives his son some advise, helps him find John Bly. Lord Bowler is called in to pickup the trail where Brisco left off. The climax happens in an underground cave. The showdown with John Bly occurs with the Orb just about to explode. Just before it goes off John Bly says something that surprises Brisco. Brisco County Sr. returns one last time to explain to Brisco a little bit more about the Orbs.
Gambling fun on a riverboat

Brisco meets up with on of John Bly's men, Brett Bones (the most gentlemanly outlaw) who controls a town and has a gambling on his riverboat. The reason for being there is to rescue Socrates Poole, who in the spirit of trying new things to experience life gets into debt gambling. Brisco comes up with a plan to capture Brett Bones with the help of Lord Bowler & Dixie Cousins. Brisco comes up with an alias Roscoe Merriweather, this is reminiscent of the old series Maverick. Wylie Turner a cloth manufacturer who also has a beef with Brett Bones joins Brisco and uses his miracle cloth which is as strong as steel but soft as a baby's bottom to raise the money to trap Brett Bones.
