The Green Sea (2021)
Lord Dunsany's The Green Sea a wonderful original fantasy
3 July 2021
Lord Dunsany, Randal Plunkett has created a film that is rich and deep in meaning with many layers to immerse oneself in, a world full of characters both weird wonderful dark & light in a gorgeous bleak Irish landscape of wind, rain, hopes, dreams & fantasy he skilfully weaves the story

with outstanding performances from all of the cast but especially by its leads the always excellent Katharine Isabelle "Simone" in a career best performance & Ireland's brightest star Hazel Doupe as "The KId" their chemistry is electric

If you want to be transported uplifted taken on an original journey of mystery and fantasy dont miss this outstanding piece of cinematic art.

Im sure the powers that be would love this show to go away

Outstanding all round hitting on a very important time in the new religious movements and whose in the middle of it all Jack Parson Aleister Crowley & L Ron Hubburd! You couldnt make it up or could you? Scientology anyone!

Brilliant performances outstanding production values be a crime to allow it to be binned on the strenght of a season and a half

lets have more.

A wonderful gem of sleazy 1960s London with a brilliant performance from the wonderfully versatile Harry H Corbett in a very dark interesting turn as a Serial killer

Well worth the trip

Absolutely fantastic film with three greats at the top of their game The legend Noel Purcell, Jurgens & Wells as two opposites or are they are excellently cast.

Wells English accent & comedy timing is very good, shame he didn't do more comedy, Jurgens is just pure class as the black sheep rouge

Amazing action sets the wonderful cast crew locations are a gem of its time well worth a watch and beautiful Sylvia Syms always a treat
