Blind (III) (2019)
10/10
Compellong and Creepy
6 November 2020
Well I have finally had the chance to watch the film Blind and it was amazing. Written by Joe Knetter and starring Caroline Williams but the main star is Sarah French. She plays Faye who is an actress who was celebrating her greatest success as an actress. She decides to have laser surgery and it permantly blinds her. She must now navigate a world of perpetual darkness. Sarah really looks and acts like a blind person. She has the right mannerisms and doesn't move her eyes. A truly magnificent performance her best yet. Let us talk about the other main star "Pretty Boy". He is what seems to be a 9 foot tall guy with the creepiest mask I have ever seen. I am not kidding this mask will cause you nightmares (don't believe me just look at the posters). What makes it more terrifying is that Sarah has no idea when he is stalking as he is completely silent. I got more than a few shivers up the old spine watching this. Totally engrossing and a little bit gross at times check it out on Amazon Prime.

Amazing Adventure and Quest Film
22 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I am a fan of Killer Wolf films and the writer\director Len Kabasinski. This film is probably the finest he jas ever done. Limited CGI and beautiful sets/scenery make this a beautiful film to watch. The soundtrack is equally gorgeous. The story in a nutshell is a family has a terminally ill child that modern medicine can't help. The father is desperation finds about a legendary talisman that has healing powers and he enlists Kane Galloway an archaeologist and searcher of the truth to help him find it. Kane has to search the world and defeat 5 guardians to get the talisman. Amazing action and compeeling story makes this a standout. The film stars famed martial artist Leo Fong as Sang-Jin Kane's sensei. He was probably my favorite character at 90 years old. A great time and I highly recommend this film for fans of the questing adventure martial arts film.

Dynastud is a Fresh Take on Fun Filled Action Films
19 December 2018
Dynastud is what you would expect from a James Bond superhero type film with the super handsome dude hooking up with hot people and saving the world except instead of girls it is with guys. Finally a gay action, super spy, adventure, superhero movie. In a near future world where being gay is against the law we have one guy fighting for gay rights, Dynastud. Great fun but not for the easily offended but if you are a fan of Richard Griffin films then you won't be offended. I had the privilege of being at the premiere and the crowd was raucous and laughing their collective asses off. Beautifully shot and great special effects it is a well rounded film with an amazing cast. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Future Apocalypse
22 July 2015
First off I want to give full disclosure that I did donate money to help make this film and I am listed as a producer. Having said that I can also say that very few film makers get as much bang for their buck then Richard Griffin. Griffin is a big fan of 70's horror and sci-fi from the USA and Europe. This film was inspired in many ways by a 48 hour short he did several years ago called Mutants of the Apocalypse. The short was about a nuked world taken over by vile evil mutants led by the disembodied head of Adolph Hitler. This film shares none of that story except for the nuked world part. The story begins on Titan where a cryo prison exists. The most famous of convicts there Python Diamond has served his cryo term and is being shipped back to Earth for his permanent sentence. As the shuttle approaches the Earth it is discovered that the planet has been mostly destroyed by nuclear weapons deployed by an unknown power or powers. They land and are beset by a roving gang that wants all their food and weapons. With Python leading the way they fight back with other survivors but there is something lurking underneath them all. The story is somewhat basic but it's execution is where this film truly shines. Richard is surrounded by very talented actors and actresses. He uses their skills to the utmost and they lift what some might consider tired material and give you something fresh. The screenplay was done by the star Nathaniel Silva (he also plays Python) and is ably supported by Steven O'Broin as the principal villain Gazeebo. Also the film stars Aaron Andrade as Major Uxbridge the CO of the prison transport team, Elyssa Baldasarri, Johnny Sedequest, Rich Tretheway, and Michael Thurber portraying a slightly demented version of himself. This is a fun popcorn film that isn't overly long so it doesn't drag.

Surprisingly Heart Warming
22 July 2015
This is a hard one to describe even for a Scorpio Film Releasing movie. You are getting what you think you are getting with a title like Accidental Incest. To start with this film is based on the play Accidental Incest: Someone for Everyone written by Lenny Schwartz. Lenny has written 2 screenplays for Scorpio Films prior to this (Murder University and Normal) so when the time came for his play to be translated to the screen he entrusted it to Richard Griffin. The film is about Milton and Kendra two people who can't find someone who gets and loves them until they find each other (after both suffer a near death experience). Unfortunately they find out after they have found each other that they are fact brother and sister by the same father. This doesn't stop them from wanting to be together but the reaction by the outside world is pure unadulterated horror. The film is the two stalwarts trying to navigate through the immense mine field of society they have stepped into. The film is funny, sleazy, raunchy, and surprisingly heart warming in the end. The film is at it's core about two people loving each other despite the reaction of those around them. As with every Scorpio film the acting is superb with Jamie Lynn Bagley, Michael Thurber, Jamie Dufault, Jesse Dufault, Jose Guns Alves, Steven O'Broin, and Anna Rizzo all turning in outstanding performances. The standouts though are the leads Johnny Sederquest and Elyssa Baldassarri. Their work was a revelation for me having seen them in several other films but never seeing them up their games to this level. Another personal favorite performance after Johnny and Elyssa was Aaron Andrade as God. This film has everything for anyone. At it's core it's about conquering loneliness and finding your match even if it's your sister or brother.

Newest Feature from KWF
28 April 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I recently received the latest film from Killerwolf Films Ninja: Prophecy of Death. The film was a return to the action centric films KWF is known for. The film stars Renee Porada as a member of a sect of ninjas led by a demon who can foretell the future. They are sent to wipe out a prominent mob family member and his family. Renee balks at killing the 2 little girls and the wife. The team turns on her and leave her for dead. She is found by Lanny Poffo, another prominent mobster, and his team consisting of Brian Anthony and Leon South. They don't kill her as one of the daughters was taken by the ninja sect per the orders of their leader. The film takes off with tons of action as the group goes after the ninjas though they have differing agendas maybe even competing against each other. The film was a thrill to watch and even though there was some sound issues (the distributor was in such a rush to get the film they didn't give the filmmakers time to correct the problem) it is still fast paced and action packed. Great supporting cast with KK Ryder, Darian Caine, and Deanne Visalle as the lead ninjas. Fans of KWF will not be disappointed with the film.

Great Introduction to Something New
27 January 2014
I was very fortunate to get a copy of this short film. It basically is an introduction to what I hope will be bigger and better things. The film is constructed around several characters showing cops and mobsters and several people attached to their worlds. It focuses on an undercover cop and an up and coming mob hit-man. The twists and turns they take especially at the end is what makes me want to see the full length version of this film and a greater view into this world. The film was written and directed by John Mosetich and he has done a truly exceptional job. If you get the chance please see this short film to help whet your appetite for the upcoming full length feature film.

Ghost Story With All The Right Chills
23 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
First the disclaimer, yes I do know the director Jordan Pacheco as I had the chance to see his work on a RI horror movie that he provided the special effects for. I was not involved in the picture in any way and didn't see it until I purchased a copy of the film from the director. Now with that crap out of the way let's talk about the flick. Chris O'Reilly plays Matt. Matt is a member of an amateur group of ghost hunters led by Paul played by Dan Liebman. To date they haven't had much luck with the ghost hunting as far as not even getting a rise from the Lizzy Bordan house. They are asked to help a family that is being plagued by a particular nasty ghost or ghosts. As per the norm, when the team arrives nothing happens. Matt finally loses it and starts yelling at the spirits calling them out to face him and that he would take care of them if they did. He explains to Paul that he was trying to "provoke" the ghosts into some kind of response. Paul packs it in for the night and Matt leaves but there may be something coming with him. He goes home to his girlfriend Jamie played by Nicole Lasala. Strange happenings start to occur at his house that are quickly spinning out of control. I am normally not a fan of ghost stories because I tend to find them to be boring and not very frightening. Provoked is nothing like that. The film had my attention from opening credits to final reel. One of the highlights is Tony Moran (from the first Halloween) as Doug the plumber and his encounter with the house. Some nice music and great storytelling give this film a nice pace that is missing in the hundreds of haunted house with malevolent spirits movies that Hollywood keeps churning out. "Never provoke the undead"

Fun Comedic Take on Redneck Monster Movies
7 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Hogmaul is a comedy from the folks at Ill Conceived Pictures and was written and directed by Nap Bishop. Hogmaul is a half man half hog (hence the Hog in the name) who kills his (or her it's never explained what sex the creature is) victims with a huge sledge hammer a/k/a a maul (hence the Maul in the name). He (or she) went on a killing spree in the late 50's and then disappeared until now. The first thing you have to grasp is there is no attempt by the film makers to explain anything logically which lends to the comedy greatly. No attempt to explain where the creature was for 50 plus years, no explanation on why, with 2 year olds packing heat in this county, no one has shot it, or definitively seen it. It is eclectic group of characters with the "expert" looking for Hogmaul, the father looking for his missing kid, the group of potheads trying to score free weed, the obesely overweight farmer trying to scare everyone off his land, the sheriff who with his deputy hopes to hide in his favorite diner and hope all of this blows over, and the extremely odd girl who seems to worship Hogmaul or at the very least is in love with it. Now we have all seen this type of film before (both independent and Hollywood) but the difference is that this one is done for laughs and not straight. This deliberate attempt at comedy while following the same basic storyline the straight redneck monster films do makes it great parody of these types of films. Some of my favorite performances were Chrissy Delprete as Ingrid the Hogmaul expert who shows no emotion whatsoever even as folks are being slaughtered around her, also Cori Coulter as one of the potheads who is fine until she runs out of snacks, also worthy of mention is Aloysious Mack as JR from Latrobe who is a paying customer for one on Ingrid's Hogmaul hunts but didn't bother to read up on what they were doing or that he was going into the woods camping. Fun film and definitely worth a look-see if you are in the mood something light.

Killerwolf's Latest
20 September 2013
Warning: Spoilers
For the purpose of full disclaimer I am a huge fan of Killerwolf Films. I love the mixture of horror and action they do so seamlessly. This film is a bit of a departure for them. All of their previous films have had a otherworldly element to it (like werewolves, zombies, vampires, dark spirits or being set after the apocalypse)and this one is definitely set in the real world without any monsters. The film is, in a nutshell, a group of girlfriends go out camping for the weekend and stumble across a human hunt being conducted by a clandestine group of uber rich uber important people (akin to 1994's Surviving the Game). Because they discover the hunt they now become part of it. Some really great performances by Sara Brooks, Pamela Sutch, Lisa Neeld, Melissa Scott, K.K. Ryder, Deanne Visalle, and James Scott Charles Howell. My 2 favorites though were Luc Bernier and Brian Anthony. While this genre is not a favorite of mine it still manages to grab onto me and I want to see what happens to the characters good and bad. One of the signs of a good film for me is when they use a genre I may not favor but do something with that I find I really enjoy and Len Kabasinski is able to do this. A great entry into his list of many films this will appeal to survival horror fans as well as action fans. KWF fans do not want to miss this.

Among Friends (2012)

A Great Start for Danielle Harris
10 September 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Among Friends is the directorial debut of horror queen Danielle Harris. It would appear to be, on the surface, a similar hash of the tired torture horror that has been overdone since the endless Saw sequels and Hostel ripoffs but it actually brings some fresh air to the subject. The story revolves around a group of 6 friends who have come to a 80's themed party hosted by their friend Bernadette. They are drugged by one of the group and forced to see their sins displayed and they have to answer for them. You see them violate the trusts of others and they violate each other to the deepest core. Before the night is over none of them will ever be the same if they can make it through the night. Ms. Harris called in all of her friends to help with this one and you can see she has a very talented group of friends. Standout performances from Alyssa Lobit, AJ Bowen, and Brianne Davis. Abley supported by Jennifer Blanc-Biehn, Christopher Backus, Kamala Jones, Chris Meyer, Dana Daurey, and Kane Hodder as the limo driver. There are a host of cameos including Ms. Harris in a certain costume she made famous. This is great start for Danielle Harris and I can only hope she make her next film as entertaining as this one.

Fun Filled Sequel
16 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Sheriff Tom v. The Zombies is a direct sequel to Ryan Scott Weber's early horror film Mary Horror. It picks up real time after Sheriff Tom's not so terrific encounter with Mary. He gets a hold of Mary's spell book which spells (pun intended) trouble for the town. The film has 2 distinct feels to it which is pure horror with Sheriff Tom's storyline and comedy with a group of friends hanging out the night when Sheriff Tom unleashes the zombie plague on the whole town. Ryan Scott Weber is able to straddle both and eventually the 2 story plot lines collide into the climax of the film. Some really great performances including Joe Parascand as Sheriff Tom, Kristen Accardi as Kristen, Ryan Scott Weber as DJ Red, Tom Brady (not the quarterback) as Popcorn Jones, and Loyd Kaufman as the ambiguously gay mayor Rockland. Ryan also has many different cameos from various celebrities at many horror conventions he attends including Roxsy Tyler, Monique Dupree, the Zombie Hunters, and a personal favorite Carl Weathers as the President. Great film with all the fun and passion on the screen. Well worth adding to your low budget independent collection.

Fun Filled Romp
17 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Dr. Frankenstein's Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead is the latest film from those demented folks at Scorpio Films Releasing. The film is directed by Richard Griffin, the man who brought us the Disco Exorcist, Nun of That, Murder University, and Exhumed. Now in full disclosure I worked on the film and was one of the creatures so I may be a tad biased. That being said the film is still amazing. It stars Michael Thurber as Charles Frank(enstein), a curator of a wax museum in Salem MA. He is trying to create the perfect Aryan human. A group of high school kids break into his museum during the night (after they had to attend a tour to avoid detention) and Frankenstein unleashes his horrific reanimated dead to feast on the kids. The cast was stellar featuring mostly new Scorpio actors. The teenagers were all obnoxious in their own way except for the heroine Katherine portrayed by Jamie Lynn Bagley. There are several standout performances including Shannon Hartman as Ashley, Aurora Grabill as Zoey, Ryan Handley as Mr. Jefferson, Aaron Peaselee as Troy, Patrick Keefe as Colton, and Christopher Ferreira as The Monster. A couple favorite performances was Johnny Sederquist as Sam and Sean Carufel as Fritzy. Great special effects and some amazing makeup work done by Jordan Pacheco. Richard decided to dub most of the sound to give it a real 70's Euro trash feel. The film is just fun to watch with some popcorn and friends.

80's Slasher Homage
6 August 2012
Warning: Spoilers
************************SPOILERS*********************************** Many people look at the 1980's as the decade that almost killed horror. With endless sequels and even worse attempts at ripping off those endless sequels, the 80's almost buried the horror genre. Wes Craven summed it up best when he said that serious filmmakers regarding horror movies as 1 step above pornography, but what many forget that in the beginning of the decade some of the most original and scary films ever made were done. Murder University is a homage to those films like My Bloody Valentine or The Prowler. It is set in the fictional school of Greensboro College. Our young protagonist is Josh Greene (played brilliantly by Jamie Dufault). He is attending college right after the tragic death of his father. Unfortunately Josh has picked the wrong school to attend. From the teachers who despise him, the assaults at the wet t'shirt contests, and the male stripping porno making roommate things couldn't really look much more bleak. Enter the Greensboro Devils who are blissfully massacring the entire student body one body at a time. For some inexplicable reason they have targeted Josh. Josh turns to the only person that believes him which is the washed up Detective Ray Forrester (played by Michael Thurber) and his daughter Meg (played by Samantha Accampora). The 3 of them must solve the mystery of who the killers are before they all become victims themselves. Directed by Richard Griffin with the screenplay Leonard Xavier Schwartz. Brilliantly casted with amazing performances from Sean Sullivan, Lee Rusch, Nat Silva, Kevin Killavey, Chris Ferreira, John Moestch, and Aaron Peaslee this film delivers with the right amount of chills, gore and twists to keep you churning in your seats. Murder U reminds us of what was great about those early 80 slasher films but still gives you something new and original to chew on.

Robert Englund at his best
12 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I have always been a big fan of Robert Englund but not just for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger but mostly for his other work. I won't go into that here but this film you get to see Robert be his most sadistic. The film has him carrying a severed head into a police station asking them to relieve him of it and that is in the first 10 minutes. The film is really an amazing dynamic of Robert going against his prime nemesis portrayed by William Forsythe. Strongly supported by Joey Fatone and Jonathan Silverman this films has just the right amount of everything in just the right doses. Great FX and gore, music, scenery, suspense, and just the right twist on the mind to keep you thinking through the entire film. If there is one knock I can say against it is that it barely runs 1 hour and 15 minutes long so it is a little on the short side but still Glenn Ciano packs a lot in those 1 hour and 15 minutes. The DVD copy I have has no extras or commentary so I am unsure if there is another version out there with extras so be careful when you buy it just in case there is another version.

Exhumed (2011)

Amazing Piece of Noir
27 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Every once and a while you get someone who takes a chance and does something different with a genre that is either out of favor or is just plain tired. Exhumed is a great example of the use of minimalistic sets and scenery but it gets the maximum value from them. Almost the entire film is shot in this big creepy house. The house is populated by a truly diverse cast of characters each bringing their own subtle and sometimes not so subtle nuances to the story. The film revolves around the extremely weird dynamic of the residents of this particular house. Starting with the Butler and the Governess played to the nines by Debbie Rochon and Michael Thurber. For me this was my first experience getting to see Michael work on such a substantial character and I have to say that he and Debbie are the anchor that keeps the story in place. The rest of the cast is played brilliantly by Sarah Nicklin as Laura a somewhat off kilter person that isn't necessarily grounded in reality. Next is Evalena Marie who plays Rocki, who is a little rebellious, uninhibited and is the boundless energy of the group. Next is Richard Tretheway as Lance who may have been something else at one time but is now just burned out on life. Finally the group is rounded off by Michael Reed as Chris, a college kid renting the room to get off campus. His character is the most normal of the group and he hits it off with Laura, who is smitten with him. This puts him in direct conflict with the Governess who has a love/hate relationship with Laura. As the film progresses the group falls deeper and deeper into darkness. This film is a treat to see as it was a beautiful character study and at the same time so compelling. For Michael and Sarah it was probably my favorite performances of both actors and it also introduced me to Evalena's skills. One of the best parts of the film is that it is shot entirely in black and white and I can not emphasize enough on how great this sets the mood of the entire film. This is something other film makers would be advised to take a look at since this can take and change the tone of your film instantly. Well shot and again an excellent directing job by Richard Griffin along with Guy Benoit's top notch script this film is worth seeing in the theater if you are lucky enough to get to a screening or at least definitely worth buying when it comes out on DVD.

Pure Grindhouse Fun
11 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Ah the 70's the age of bell bottom pants, leisure suits, discos, gratuitous unprotected sex, pornography you had to go to a theater to watch in sticky seats, and all of that cocaine. Yes I don't know how we ever got out that decade without blowing up the planet after a cocaine fueled binge. Which brings us to this film. The Disco Exorcist is an homage to that decade, that those of us who lived through keep having nightmares about, but does it brilliantly. The film stars Michael Reed as Rex Romanski the womanizing, cocaine snorting, amateur porn star, disco dancing fiend. Rex plays the field but unfortunately plays the wrong field when he messes with Rita Marie (played to the nines by Ruth Sullivan). When he dumps Rita on the dance floor for famous porn star Amoreena Jones (played by Michael's wife Sarah Nicklin)Rita unleashes the forces of Hell and voodoo on them both. Who will survive and can they stop the fury of the scorned Rita? Well you have to buy the DVD to find out and let me tell it is well worth it. The cast is rounded out by Brandon Luis Aponte as Manuel Rojas the owner of Rex's favorite disco club and Richard Tretheway who practically stole every scene he is in as Angel the janitor/defrocked priest. Again I can't stress how much fun this film is with enough over the top nudity, sex, gore, and drugs lots and lots of drugs to please the most jaded film fan.

Killer Wolf Masterpiece
28 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
We have before us the latest film from Len Kabasinski and Killer Wolf Films called Wendigo: Bound by Blood. First off a very necessary disclaimer. This Wendigo is not the Marvel comics white furred version of the Hulk famous for fighting the X'Men's Wolverine but instead is base solely on the native American legend of a malicious spirit capable of possessing bad people doing bad things making them do worse things. The film star Brian Anthony in his 3rd KWF film as a local sheriff having to investigate strange occurrence happening in his sleepy little PA town. Cheyenne King is the local doctor who is also drawn in by the Wendigo targeting some of her patients. On the side is a couple in witness protection being guarded by 2 US Marshalls and being chased by a a very highly skilled team of assassins to prevent them from testifying against a big crime boss. All of these myriad stories are about to collide with one another with a winner take all finale. Who will survive and who will fall prey to the ravening Wendigo? You'll have to see. This is a departure for KWF in that instead of being non-stop action there is actually a very suspenseful story driving the film. For fans of Len and KWF this is definitely worthy film in the library.

Atomic Brain Invasion (2010 Video)
10/10
A Great Bit of Fun
6 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
First off I must say that I am somewhat bias to this type of film. I grew up watching the old Creature Double Feature on Channel 56 outside of Boston for all of my young life. This was a horror/monster/scifi double headers every Saturday. This film could proudly take it's place with any of the classic scifi/monster film of the 1950s. The film is set in the fictional town of New Shoreham in New England (most likely Rhode Island since that is where the film maker lives as does a lot of the cast). The kids are all excited about the imminent arrival of that hot new rock and roll sound sung by Elvis Presley. A group of aliens arrive to kidnap Elvis and cover a good proportion of the town in blue goo that turns the unlucky recipient into one of them, a walking brain that apparently isn't too intelligent (they have trouble with locked doors). The fate of the town and the fate of rock and roll are left to a group of misfits and the over-achieving Betty (she is trying to get into Radcliffe). Who will win in this battle? Well I won't say because that would spoil it for you. If you have the time and luck to be near one of the screenings of the film go to it. It is a laugh out loud fun filled romp that has no gore, nudity, or foul language, just like the films that is paying homage to.

Slashing Never Looked Soooo Good
18 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This is the latest film from Jason Stephenson and his group Not for the Squeamish of NFTS. The film has a very simple premise that is a group of strippers at a rundown club are getting knocked off one by one. The killer is never given a motive or any reasoning skills, all he does is stalk and kill. The film is a showcase of some of the amazing independent actresses that are currently out there including Rachel Grub, Elske McCain, and Scarlett Salem (who is the lead). The killer is portrayed by horror author Joe Knetter. The copy I picked up was one of only 30 that had been made (so far) and hasn't even been screened yet, so I was very lucky to get to see this. A fun film full of blood and boobs (hey it is a movie about strippers). Really fun film to watch and probably one of the best NFTS has ever done.

Another Excellent Killer Wolf Film
13 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
First I want to say I was extremely lucky to get a copy of this film since it is being re-edited. The hard part for me to accept is that the re-edited edition will be most likely exceed my enjoyment of the current version I now have. Having said that this latest epic starts off after WW III has devastated the world. The few survivors are either huddled together in the last remaining city run by a despotic militarized fascist leader. Those who aren't in the city are tying to survive. We get a group of 3 companions working there way to the city and trying to survive the mutated wasteland with the roving band of marauders. With a full compliment of KWF stalwarts like Brian Heffron, Darian Cane, Renee Porada, Brian Anthony, and Pamela Sutch (along with Len) this film is fast paced and action packed. This is by and large the biggest film attempted by KWF and they deliver on all accounts.

Dismal (2009)

Old School Horror
8 July 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I was very fortunate last August to get the chance to see the premiere of this film. Dismal is a story about a group of college kids on a sabbatical to the swamp but it's not the gators or snakes they need to worry about. The swamp is home to a demented family that eats anyone that trespasses on their domain. The film has great scares and gore. It also boasts an amazing cast lead by my personal favorite Bill Oberst, Jr, as Dale. Trust me this is one psycho killer worthy of the Hall of Fame. The movie is coming out soon so please trust me and check it out. This was a great throw back to the 70's horror of The Hills Have Eyes and other great shock films.

A Fun Film
24 June 2009
This is one of those movies that was made solely for the reason of entertaining the audience. It is rare in this day in age to see a film that isn't trying to convince you to vote a certain way or to see the evil of something. The goal of this film is to have fun watching it. The film stars Tiffany Sheppis, Perry Shen, and Nectar Rose as part of group of college kids pledging the best fraternity and sorority on campus. They are sent on a scavenger hunt and to spend the night in a haunted mansion. One of the uber bright kids decides to steal a dark magic book from genre vet Brad Dourif and things go down hill from there. Great makeup effects with just a touch of CGI the film keeps you watching, cringing, and laughing, with you wondering which one you should be doing. Great fun and must have for any Tiffany Sheppis or Brad Dourif fans.

Lots of Fun
19 May 2009
OK I know what many are thinking about a film called "One Eyed Monster" and you are correct, it is about that. What I mean is that this film is about a killer penis, or to be more specific Ron Jeremy's penis. Without giving too much away, what we have here is a film that takes Ron Jeremy's penis and turns it into a ravening monster (which I believe many girls in the adult industry say already, in a loving way). The cast is great with adult cinema alumns Veronica Hart, Carmen Hart, and of course Ron. It also boasts actress and author extrondinaire Amber Benson along with genre vet Charles Napier. The film is a comedic homage to such classics like The Thing and Alien. So buckle your seat belt and strap yourself in for a rollicking good time.

Warning: Spoilers
Here we are with another great title from the folks at Darkstone Entertainment. Deceptors is John Johnson's homage the movie Ghosbusters. The Deceptors is told from the view of not the heroic lead character but from the view of the sidekicks played John, Elizabeth Domin and David Simmons III. They are con artists that scam people with fake ghost hauntings. Their friend and ally (played by Lincoln Lilly) runs a local book store who finds the fish and then sends the group after them. Enter Russell Fenton who believes they are a legit group and wants to join in the fight against eternal evil. What happens to the group is that real evil arrives and they have to save the world, reluctantly mind you but since their souls are at stake they go to save the world. Check the film out. If you are a fan of Darkstone you will love it.
