The Magic of the Book Survives
10 November 2004
So I went to see the first showing of the Polar Express today.BUT, I shelled out the extra money to go see it in 3-D at Imax and it was amazing. I mean I almost can't even put the experience into words. Every year since I was born my mom has read me the Polar Express at Christmas. I can't even tell you how high my expectations were for this movie. I was actually scared to see it because I was so sure I was going to be disappointed.

I can't even describe how much I loved it. That is without a doubt the best movie I have ever seen. Not only was the CGI amazing and in 3-D, omg I was actually reaching out trying to touch the falling snow. But the story was magical and heart breaking and inspiring. When the little boy stood on the back of the train singing about Christmas not working out for him I wanted to cry. When the young boy finally hears the the bell on Santa's Sleigh I actually laughed out loud. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time. It is so rare that a movie can you make you feel so much.

I have been so stressed lately and I've been dealing with so many knew things. There's just so much going on. But when I was watching this movie I literally felt like a child. It was like Christams morning and going to Disneyland and all those wonderful things all at one. I forgot everything and it was just about the magic of the movie. I'm willing to admit that my connection to the movie runs much deeper because of my love for the book but I just have to say that everyone MUST see this movie at least once. I know I'll be seeing it again.

Could have been better
18 March 2002
This movie could have been so much better. The sets were beautiful and the special effects were very good. Many of the cast were also good. However, it's very hard to over look the flaws in the script. There were so many parts that weren't explained so you weren't sure why the part was in the movie. Some of the lines were also poorly written. The movie wasn't horrible, but overall it really could have been so much better. I gave it 5 out of 10 stars.

Just Deal (2000–2002)
Awesome

This is one of my favorite shows. I watch it every Saturday morning. I love it because it's so real. It's completely unlike most Saturday morning shows. There's no classrooms with only 12 kids and there's no goofy teachers. It's totally realistic. My mom even likes it. She was blown away at how good it was for a "saturday morning" show. It deals with real issues and it doesn't have some happy, fake ending where everything's resolved by the end. They even have good actors. This show is the best!

very disappointing
26 November 2001
I was really disappointed with this movie. I usually really like mary-kate and ashley movies. They're not always very beliveable and they can be a little cheesy at times but they're always really enjoyable and a lot of fun. It wasn't so much the writing that bugged me, though the story did seem to go by without a lot of explaing or detail. It was the filming. This movie had to have the worst filming I've EVER seen. The shots were so weird sometimes and there was A LOT of close ups. One of the things that bugged me was that half of the film felt like you were watching a home movie that was taped by a five year old. Sometimes it looks like a movie and others it looks like it was filmed on a home video camera and the shots aren't very steady. I also thought that the way they ended it was weird.

The Golden Girls (1985–1992)
Awesome Show!
17 October 2001
I absolutely love this show. I swear I must watch it at least twice a day. I'm only 15 but I can still appreciate it. I mean I've seen every episode numerous times and I still crack up when Rose tells Saint Olaf stories or Sophia makes a joke. This has got to be one of the best made shows ever.

This is my favorite movie! I absolutely loved it. It had great writing and all the characters were loveable, well almost all. The queen wasn't. The scenes were beautiful and , well cool. I loved everything about this movie.

A diasapointment

I was really looking forward to this movie but I got a big let down. The plot was SO predictable and the writing was awful. Throughout the whole movie you're wondering why Ruby doesn't go tell the police what's going on. You also wonder how anyone can be oblivious to what's going on. overall this movie was not worth seeing.
