Germans !!

You and I is a must-watch for anyone craving a blend of romance and friendship. With three incredibly attractive leads, the screen practically sizzles with their chemistry. But beyond the eye candy, the film's heart lies in its portrayal of a beautiful friendship blossoming amidst life's trials. And oh, the ending! It's a satisfying conclusion that'll leave you with a warm heart and a smile. Trust me, this one's worth the watch.

That is al I have to say about the film and I think my review covers it all, but IMDb needs more characters to fill up this silly part. If you have read the first paragraph you are good to go.

Lie with Me (2022)

Simply stunning

I went into this film not knowing it is based in a book, which I have no idea how the book is, however I must say this movie is simply stunning, everything about it is just gorgeous. The acting, the place where it is set. The story. Some scenes I had tears in my eyes and I am not a person who cries in movies but this one deeply touched me.

Pros.

1. The story is just so captivating and stunning, get ready for wet eyes.

2. The acting is simply superb, some interactions are truly amazing.

3. The leads specially Guillaume and Victor.

Cons.

I believe this is the first time I have absolutely nothing to remark about a film.

Drifter (I) (2023)

Honestly there is nothing on this movie that was good and there also nothing that was bad, nothing really happens.

The characters are boring and even the main character is underdeveloped. It is simply a movie that you watch not really pay attention. I was "entertained" enough as Drifter was chosen to be at the New Farm Queer Film Festival which happens a few hundred meters from my house, otherwise I would never have picked Drifter.

Pros.

1. Berlin setting 2. Cute boys 3. The firs scene

Cons.

1. The film is very slow, it should have been a short 2. Underdevelopment of characters 3. There is not message.

Stand (2014)

I did enjoy the movie the leads were great. The film does do a great job and showing how it must be to be in a country like Russia.

You see the end coming but the end end is great. The movie per se can be slow and a bit too long, but the message is simply beautiful.

In a bit shell

Pros 1. The leads, both guys are great on their respective parts and the chemistry they share is fascinating.

2. The message is powerful and the film does convey it outstandingly.

Red, White & Royal Blue (2023)

Cute

Cute movie with some great acting as well as some cheesy and unbelievable movements. I must say though it is a very solid 7 which I have scored this movie.

Pros 1. Taylor Perez, what a gorgeous sexy man 2. Nicholas Galitzine, is also very talented and matches Taylor in the leading of the movie.

3. General characters written by women I believe straight women gets really well Gay men and they have been giving us some serious gay men ( Heartstopper, Sex Education and obviously this film:

Cons 1. The coming our story, felt out of place 2. Some serious cringe moments which were absolutely painful to match 3. The relationship evolved too quickly and as gay men, I feel that they needed to explore way more than they were doing.

Fake Profile (2023– )

Wow where do I start ? This is show is so simply out horrid. But I will try and make a decent review.

Pros.

1. The male cast 2. The location, Cartagena.

3. The gay/bi inclusion.

Cons

As you guys know I tend to choose 3 but this is one has got everything dreadful to it, but I will try to get the worst 3.

1. Too soapy, omg this plot is the same from South America over and over again, honey, the rich and the poor do not mix that much, mainly in Colombia, but this formula has been working for far too long I guess it it because it gets people coming back to it, it is just dated and it is time people move on from this format.

2. The drama, get a grip!!! That is just too much. Over the top. Done too many times. It seems like writers in South America have mostly lost the will to write.

3. The plot. It has absolutely nothing to do with catfishing a person, on the contrary I do not even understand how the title was accepted.

Overall 2, do not watch it, just skip and move on, it over 5 hours of your life which you are never getting back.

The Days (2023)

Mediocre japoneses show, Watch it for the history.

Do not go into this show expecting very high performances or the acting really, instead go for the story and to learn a bit more and maybe even, to refresh your memory to the ongoing issue that this disaster has inflicted in people.

Cons 1. The show is too slow something the cameras takes forever to the next scene, this is a crises shows so act fast people 2. The show is too long, this could be so much enjoyable if the show runners has kept it to a mini series instead of dragging the show for 8 episodes 3. Fumiyo portrait of the prime minister.

Pros 1. The story which is relevant to this day and it will be for many years to come.

2. The history of disaster 3. The heroes of the disaster,

Overall it is a 6, go for it without high expectation and be patient for the slow pace of the show.

Citadel (2023– )

Kind of hard to swallow

I am all for spy anything really, but Citadel kind of lost its plot for me when it went too high tech and also the story of the 2 spies falling in love and having a kid all that crap.

It is ok but nothing that special really. I honestly think it has really good potential but it went south really.

Cons 1. Priyanka Chopra Jones, I am sure the producers could surely have got a better no white actress, unfortunately she was the wrong choice to play Nadia, 2. The high spy tech plot, and how it is all comes undone was really hard to swallow.

3. It is too short for all that happens converting way too many years

Pros.

1. The relation of the characters from Richard Madden and Lesley. Great acting and that is the only kind of believable story that you can swallow on the show.

2. Richard Madden, that man is just gorgeous in action and beauty.

3. Stanley Tucci, is there anything that man cannot do?

Overall is it 6 go to it for the action and not for the plot.

Turn of the Tide (2023– )

Another decent Portuguese show

I have to say this series was way better than I expected, one of the things for me is even though I speak Portuguese fluently I had to put subtitles on, and I believe it's because of the Azorean accent The leads were great specially the characters of Eduardo and Carlos

Pros 1. The story was great and compelling 2. The area it was based the f 90's I believe.

3. Jose Condessa, what a gorgeous man

Cons 1. The obsession with America, but then again I believe that was a thing in the 80s 90ss 2. Uncle Joe, what an underdeveloped characters speaking English all time and they all understood each other, I understand the Portuguese. It speaks good English, but that was a bit too much.. 3. The ending sucks. I don't know if this is Netflix thing trying to have this open ending so they could've come back for season two, but it just sucks.

Anna (II) (2019)

Great action movie,

This movie was simply great action, the acting was super by the whole team even to newcomer Sasha Luss. The film is clearly up there with John Wick, Salt and Mission Impossible franchise.

Now lets get to the juicy bits

The pros.

1. The action, this was truly superb, Sasha truly did an amazing job.

2. Sasha Luss, I believe this is only her second film but boy she can act, and also, she is simply stunning.

3. Dame Helen Mirren, well the name needs no introduction, it speaks fotr its self.

4. The twits and how the movie did its back and forth was not boring and it did add to the whole story which was a surprise for me.

The cons.

1. The bad press surrounding all the misconduct by the director, this could have been a hit but it was not.

If you are a fun of the spy, action genre films, this is a must.

The Glory (2022– )

Korea does it again

I am really biased when it comes to revenge shows because I tend to always like them, I love when a underdog triumphs.

The Glory felt like ahead of its game for a Korea show, you always have your stereotypes and overacting and drama but overall this was fantastic and the story great.

Pros 1. Catchy 2. Great acting from Ji-Yeon Lim and Lee Do-Hyun 3. Entertain and compelling

Cons 1. The discrepancy in age from characters who should all have been in high school together 2. Some over the top story lines and characters for example Moon Dong's mother and her helper 3. The side story for and involvement for Joo Yeo-Jung unless the show is coming for a season 2.

Of an Age (2022)

Worth the watch

This movie is proudly Australian and shows how bonds can last, it is about the sex by the connection humans being can transcend, ThomGreen and Elias Anton are superb and story can be slow and all I wanted as a wide frame of the camera in the performances.

Pros 1. The acting 2. Thom Green 3. It's Australian babe.

Cons 1. The story can sometimes seem slowly but I strong believe it is worth to see where those characters are.

2. Short frames on faces, I did want a wide shot now and then 3. Some of the scenes were too dark in the light

I am very surprising of the kind of shows coming out of a Germany, I must say some of them are absolutely amazing and could never be done by in America way.

Okay, I don't even know where to start, this was absolutely a nightmare.

Everything was awful

I cannot believe a budget was approved to the this show.

The cast , speaking between the two languages, Portuguese and also in Spanish, and clearly understanding each other, shows how low the series is

The whole Brazilian voodoo and the Spanish setting do not go well together

Smiley (II) (2022)

This show was such a good find on Netflix, what a great cute caring story.

Pros: 1. The relation between Bruno and Albert, what a breath of fresh air that was, so cute and it shows that a heterosexual and a homosexual can have ( and they have ) a lot in common and they can have a meaningful relation as portrait in this show.

2. Carlos Cuevas, I am truly obsessed with his talent and beautiful, beside he does make a gorgeous powerful bottom.

3. The kisses, omg the way Bruno and Alex kiss will forever be engraved in my head.

Cons.

1. I really felt that the show had way too many side a stories happening at the same time, I wish it had focus on more in Alex and Bruno love story.

2. Too short, I think the series has a huge potential to develop more this character.

Heartbreak High (2022–2025)

Seriously what a great show it was I wen my into it thinking it was going to be another Sex Education, Euphoria or even Heartstopper, but what a delicious surprise this show. It shone brightly on its own.

Aussie to its core, fantastic young actor and soooooo relatable, a season is surely need. I also wonder why the score in mid 7s, it deserves so much more.

Here are my proms and cons Pros.

1. Relatable 2. Great stories with engaging characters and truly an superb writhing. I am glad Netflix invested in this genre and keep them coming 3. Great cast and the Ayshea Madon is just a young thrilling actress.

Cons.

1. Some americanisation 2. Side stories which didn't add anything for the main story 3. Loose ends for season 2.

It started to f good... but the poor ending and the while kid family thing too American took my taste. There was a lot continuation problems as well

Cons 1. The plot- when will Hollywood move on from this stupid plot, "oh there is a random kid let's kill loads of people to have that one stupid kid"?

2. Too many bullets no enough harm, maybe make a Old Guard concept so it's more believable

3. The budget- that gotta be a joke, unless and the budget went on for the big names on the cast.

I loved this movie so much, it's raw and it's so true That's love right there, The action is great and it's such a real relatable raw story I think it is somehow based in the directors story which is simply amazing.
