A good pilot that delivers in every way.
14 October 2023
I don't how this was made or in what kind of world the writer of this series was when he made this but i love it. This pilot always hits and never misses and just like Murder Drones, this will be a new hit and it has proof to keep it a real statement. In every way possible, this shows isn't only wonderful to look at but it is also one of the scariest things i have ever seen since Calls on Apple TV. The monsters, the story, the theme of paranoia and depression, and the intense moments are all handled so well that you can't help but feel something and that things is shivers and boy did they give them good to me. I won't say any more, otherwise i'll ruin the experience. Go watch it right now, you won't regret it. GIVE ME MORE EPISODES OF THIS, I NEED THEM!

Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake: Cheers (2023)
Season 1, Episode 10
10/10
An amzing conlusion to an amazing series.
28 September 2023
From the beginning to the end, Adventure Time Fionna and Cake, has been a perfect and amazing addition to the universe of Adventure Time, from it's beautiful animation, it's wacky characters the amazing story and everything else about it, this is an ending that i can say with confidence... a masterpiece.

I will forever repeat this, Adventure Time will never fail at giving me emotions, ( especially when i watched Together Again ), the way they can shift a story from kid friendly to a story full of depression, suicide, war, love and make you feel so many emotions while giving you these story lines, is something that was done right once, done right twice and done right here too.

I still can't fathom at how the first two episodes were so simple, childish, hilarious and unique and after the third and fourth, it shifts into another amazing and compelling story that teaches us so many things. This whole episode is what i wanted right from the get go, a finale that would blow me away and make me proud again at this universe's creation and that is exactly what i got.

In one single 26 minute sitting, you get the most mindblowing, intense and heartwarming episode Adventure Time has ever produced, connecting everything from the previous episodes and even the flipping finale of the original series together, mixing it with it's own spice and giving you a blast of an ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

I'd like to say more, but i feel like i'll ruin the experience if i do, plus, my review on the main page from when the series first released should say enough. Just watch this series and get ready for this amazing ending, i promise, you won't regret it.

With just these first 2 episodes, you arleady know you're in for a wild ride.
1 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
After the amazing original series of Adventure Time, the specials and the amazing miniseries named Distant Lands, we have now finally received Fionna and Cake, a series that i have been thankfully able to watch by knowing the best piracy sites for these MAX series, ( i'm not american, i'm italian, so the service is not my country yet ) and after seeing the first two episodes, i can say that this is the best thing the studio has made with this universe.

While i was not around when the original started, (since i was still a smol baby that was born in 2008. I started to become a fan of it around the time i was 12 years old. Then saw the trailer for the miniseries Distant Lands, watched that and boom, i became a fan. When i finished Distant Lands i was so happy at what they had accomplished and hoped that it was not the last time i would enter in this world. And now, in my age of a kid who is now fifteen years old, who is now in love with TV and has been a part of some amazing shows, movies and even web series on YouTube, i am so glad to be a part of this amazing new entry of the Adventure Time universe.

Ever since it's announcement, i was super hyped for what i was about to get into, but with the merger at Discovery and HBO MAX, i was afraid, ( like everyone else ), on whether or not the series would see the light of day but thankfully, it did and boy am i glad it did, as this has got to be the rarest ocassion of a TV series being able to making me hooked right away and wanting for more immediately after finishing the first few episodes, ( next to Final Space, Calls and Daredevil ).

Right from the first episode i was immediately hooked and in love with the animation style, the feel of being back in this world once again was amazing and the tongue and cheek humor, the dialogue, the action and the plot, made me arleady know that this was gonna be an experience that i would not miss in my life and would watch with joy whenever the next episode came up.

The plot of this series has that very Bee and Puppycat feel, as we see Fionna in her rusty and awful appartment getting ready to do her next boring and awful job as a taxi tourist, with an annoying little person that is meant to be the boss of the operation, this touches very well all of that charambe, except Bee doesn't hate her job but she can't keep it due to her not being good at it and lives in poverty with a massive rent to pay, similar to how this series tackles the beginning with Fionna and her sadly ill cat. The way each character you see speaks, feels depressed and knows that what they're doing won't work in the long run, is something that i was not expecting. ( I mean, the intro of the first episode has a song about suicide. Like... JEEZ, not even Succession reaches this level of darkness ). After it ended, i knew i wanted more and i got more in the best way possible.

When i began episode 2 i was not expecting that the same level of depth would be tackled even better with the story of Simon, who has now escaped from his dark past as Ice King and has now turned into a human , however, he begins to regret it after fans of the book series Fionna and Cake ask him about it and when a fan wants Simon to sign the book, he throws it in the trash bin and starts panicking and rambling about his problems in a bar.

See, this feeling of suicide and depression is something you don't see many times in a show like this, you see it in shows or movies like The Blind Side, Wonder or Gomorrah, but not in Adventure Time. And yet, you see it and you see it in the best way possible. I myself had some of the exact problems in my life when i was younger, with me thinking that i wasn't good enough at something that i was gonna be depressed my whole life and that society would not be a good place for me, since i struggled trying to find friends and had problems with my parents that always fought for their problems and with me as well for not doing well at school. This sense of depression was something that i could feel and had seen many times at school or even in some of the most important YouTube videos that i would ever watch and the realization that Adventure Time would start tackling the topic of depression in the way that it does was something surprising but also wonderful. By the way. The way Finn changed over the course of the show is amazing and it really reminds so much of Hercules, his strong powers, how he feels invincible with every monster and his strong muscles and still active energy of emotions, is something that i loved so much.

All in all, Adventure Time Fionna and Cake is an experience that any fan of Adventure Time should watch. Full of the best acting yet, amazing animation, a storyline that will hook you from the start and amazing character design, makes it one of the very rare TV shows that give me such anxiety, sadness, emotion for the characters, laughter, shock and happines all at once. Adventure Time really shows how it has gone from a fun and quirky sitting down on the couch show to a roller coaster of emotions! If these two episodes are this good, i cannot wait for what they have in store next.

Depp V Heard (2023)

A documentary that doesn't wanna take things seriously.
16 August 2023
Please note: Before watching this series, i did not know this was a thing and didn't know it was displayed on cable, so i'm not someone that was there live when it happened.

Now, where to begin? This is a documentary that does some good things and some bad things, these bad things are what plagiarize the whole documentary and make it painful to watch and... wait, i can't tell you this stuff without my experience on watching it!

.....okay. My experience with this documentary is REALLY mixed, i both enjoyed it and hated it. If there is one thing i can say, is that it knows how to keep you hooked and it does quite well to be honest. Yes, at the beginning of the documentary, i was furious at what i was seeing, TikTokers and YouTubers being there and recording the announcement of the trial and arleady trying to skew in fake information before it even begins, yeah, i hated those first 9 minutes. But after i while, i actually managed to enjoy it, ( don't get me wrong, i wasn't astounded by the content nor did i awe ), but i could atleast see that the people that complied this, tried to make it feel nice and not unwatchable, *cough* influencer scenes, *cough*. But then again, even when it was good, it was nothing too special.

The bad parts of this documentary have to be the out of place scenarios with the youtubers, twitch streamers and ESPECIALLY, the TikTokers. OH BOY THE TIKTOKERS! These scenes are just the worst and are the biggest problem with the series, seriously, who thought it was a good idea to have such clips of random memes of the jury scattered around?! What it tries to do, is to show how the media is using this event to get views and make memes out of it but it doesn't work and in a documentary like this, that's not something you want. While the ones with the youtubers and twitch streamers were a little better, they are put in places that don't need them and just make you scream: "Why?" Thankfully, some of these moments are used in the correct context and at the correct timeline but still, not good.

The good things about it are... sadly not many but there are okay! When i talked about my experience with it i said that the documentary knows how to keep you hooked and it's true, throughout the episodes there are multiple occasions where you can say: "OMG, this really happened or is this a lie, hmmm, i don't know, i'll need more information to give a true statement." That's what the main point of this documentary is and that's what it is supposed to do, ABOVE anything else, and it does it perfectly! I was actually shocked by some of the scenes they showed, ( no spoilers ) and actually felt scared in some places. The way everything is used, the cinematography how it is compiled, the correct use of external news and social media videos, it is what makes this documentary somewhat decent and fun to watch. However, it is still up with some problems, like there being way too much usage of influencers talking about the moment which does overlay the audio of the voices of either Depp or Heard and some pointless scenes of the crowd trying to get noticed by one of the celebrities.

Overall, my experience with this title is both good and bad. On one hand i think it is one of the worst documentaries in history, full of pointless scenes and the total lack of seriousness throughout the whole thing, which is especially shown to the influencers that literally laugh and make memes on TikTok about the cringe moments of the jury, instead of trying to listen and use their brain to understand what's happening and see who's right and who's wrong and even the people who made this documentary don't seem to take it seriously and it can be immediately seen from the first episode alone! But hey, atleast the editing is really good. But on the other hand, i think it's a documentary that is able to show us how the new generation takes these events, how people decide what should be considered as important evidence and uselles evidence, the honesty of people and how one or multiple bad things can affect us for the rest of our life and i think that's a really nice thing to show, it also includes some really nice messages.

So, to give out one final word: This documentary is mixed full of problems, out of place clips but also contains some nice moments and shows us the true side of these two actors and i'm glad that Depp won, i just knew from how Depp was answering the questions that Heard was a big liar.

Steven He fans will enjoy it, non Steven He Fans will too.
23 May 2023
This show must be one of the most genius ideas to come from humanity. Everything is just so perfect that it's hard to describe it. Steven He has always managed to be a genius in many things especially his YouTube videos but this takes it to a whole new dimension.

TBH, i don't know how something like this could have been refused by every TV network back then, Steven's grandfather should instead be proud of what he has accomplished and boy are we proud of this creation.

If there is anything to go by, let's just say that the acting is extremely good. Steven He is absolutely perfect for the role of a superhero, as his comedic touch is always perfect and the jokes always land. While this may be Lauren Kim's first acting role as a still young girl her performance is fantastic, she can be serious, comedic and adorable all at once without struggling and doing a dang good job. Thid also includes the rest of the cast.

The cinematography and green screen is also really good. Sure, it is flawed but that's the joke and you know what, they try to make good green screen, so that's a plus.

Overall, this is an absolute blast and i can't wait for the next episodes.

Chupa (2023)
7/10
Another masterpiece from Netflix.
7 April 2023
Chupa is a movie that resembles depression, animal cruelty, and love in the best way possible. From a first standpoint, it may look like a very simple childish family movie that you'd see on the holidays to hang around, but if you actually watch it and think about it a little bit on the depper side of things. You'll start to realize that this movie is actually about very depressing and sad topics like dementia, animal cruelty, depression and many more things. It's a movie that may even make you cry, especially during the final 30 minutes or at around the 59 minute mark. The movie manages to blend horror and the sad themes from above very well, which turns it into this very realistic and absolutely adorable movie. I won't say too too much about it, as i think movies like this are better watched without knowing much about the story. But in short: This movie has a simple story, turned into an absolute masterpiece of a film. Also, the model of Chupa is really well done.

One rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish, even for a non-anime fan like me.
13 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Where should i start with what i have to write, there's just so much to say? Ok, fine, i'll start from the beginning.

I'm in no way shape or form a Cyberpunk2077 fan, but i have heard of the failure it was while not playing it.

I had then realized while wanting to watch Bee and Puppycat, that an anime exists, i wasn't interested, until 1 or 2 months later that i had decided to watch it. And i do not regret this decision one bit.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners is not a simple anime, it's more than that, it's a whole damn rollercoaster of emotions that will leave you spechless from start to finish.

Watching the first episode, i was arleady confused at all the really intense action that was happening and i could barely comprehend what was happening, forward on i had started to understand a bit of the plot and starting to feel some goosebumps.

But when episode 4 and onwards reached, i was absolutely hooked and shocked all the way through!

The feeling that i had realizing about the Cyberpsicosis, Lucy's relationship, etc, was something that i hadn't felt in so long.

The whole show is that saying: Something i had never expected. Cause that's exactly how i flipping felt throughout everything, and my lord that ending!

The ending is something i had known at how it could have been, but never in a million years would have i expected it to be this emotional.

I have to mention, that i never cry during shows or movies or games, but the shivers and surprises i had were out of this world. I'd rather not even say anything about it.

I'm by far an anime fan, but blow my balls off, i loved this like hell! The least you could do is watch it, forget about all of the sex, volgarity or smoking, and suck them all up, and watch it!

Do i need to say more? No, so do it!

Oddballs (2022–2023)
7/10
Not mind blowing, nor terrible.
22 October 2022
Oddballs isn't a show that tries to be anything too enticing and epic. With a crazy and active storyline. It's just a show giving you a couple of funny adventures, and i'd say it works pretty well.

I'd first of like to say, that i am impressed that the rating is as low as it is.

Sure, youtuber shows or movies like: Game Therapy, with Favij, Smosh the movie, or even joke movies like Giuoco Terapia, by QDDS have always been rated quite poorly.

And i do understand the negatives about them. But if there are YouTuber movies or shows that don't deserve this much low rating. They would be: Game Therapy and this.

I feel like a lot of the low ratings come from the fans that always expect something to be on the same style as the channel for the sake of their characteristics.

And some would come from the ones that actually understand why it's bad.

In my opinion, i don't think it's that bad for a star as James. Sure, i also realized there could have been more, but i still feel like that how it's been released, doesn't feel like it's terrible nor mind blowing. It's just a fun and quirky show.

If you want a quick laugh, check this out. And hey, if there will be a season2, it could probably get better.

One fantastic miniseries!
19 October 2022
( Ps: i've also reviewed the episodes). After the ending of the original series, i was shocked and just awed inside at how beautiful the ending was. That i was just sad. And when i heard of a miniseries coming out, i was so stoked. Yet with it only being in the USA, I was unable to. But after the first 3 came on Sky On Demand and watched the final one on Soap2Day. I can confidently say, that this is a blast of a return! All of the episodes had me shocked, awed, and out of words after they ended and just in every minute. The characters, the music, the stories, the art style, and everything in beetwen, was perfect. I was amazed at the quality each episode would give, the ideas and the creativity they would have. It was all perfect, and i never knew what else i could expect. Please, if you haven't seen it do it, you won't regret it. If this is what they managed to give us after a blast of an ending. Then what will come out of Fionna and Cake will be fantastic.

Fun, full of adventure jokes, and dark. My favorite!
21 September 2022
As a non long time fan of this series from when it was a web series. I'll admit that i really enjoyed this one! It has the same theme as the web series, but with the improvement of the animation, and stories. It might begin a little slow, but it quickly starts it's engines to give you a really fun adventure, but not without it's mysteries. I laughed a lot in many of the episodes as many of the jokes, ( while some are a little inmature), still made me laugh a lot, as you don't expect them. I also loved at the mysteries that they put in some of the episodes specially final ones, to then give you with one of the most bombastic and unexpect endings ever. I'm not saying anything about nor the series, except that it's hilarious, you'll enjoy a lot of the creativity that it has, and the ending is something that left me ( and will), leave me ( you ), on the edge of my ( your ) seats!

Adventure Time: Distant Lands: Wizard City (2021)
Season 1, Episode 4
10/10
An amazing conclusion to an amazing miniseries!
24 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
After hearing about the news that Together Again would be coming before Wizard City, i was kinda surprised by that and didn't think about it too much. But after seeing how ammazingly well done and shocking it was, i was kinda afraid that Wizard City wouldn't be as good of a conlcusion, but BOY WAS I WRONG! It's definitely a pretty surreal feeling when you understand that we will look at Pep's troubled and dark past to become who he is in the original series, but is also interesting as they do it in the second episode. The city of wizards was something that i found myself interested in learning about and discovering, as the characters were very weird in their good ways. And yet it becomes more surreal as we realize that Young Pep's, also needs to confront with the Pep's we know from the original show, telling him to recreate everything that he has done to become who he is, and apparently create the big Gum War. Seeing this, i definitely felt confused and creeped out, but i tried to understand as the episode went on. Pep's also has some contact with Acabracadaniel's daughter, who slows gets a grip on and becomes friends with her. As the episode went on i started to slowly understand what was happening but i still hadn't connected each piece of the puzzle just yet, let's say i was about 60% complete. Then we get the true villains of this story in the final parts of the episode which are the teachers themselves, and Pep's has to make a choice on whether or not he really wants to become who he was before, he decides to do it to get revenge on the teachers only for him to try and also kill her friend. Thankfully Pep's friend manages to stop him and get him back to normal, and everyone lives happily ever after. This episode perfectly embraces what i wanted the final episode to be: A fun, quirky, curious and emotional story, with a beautiful ending with it's own cherry on the cake. Even if action wasn't fully in this episode, it manages to perfectly inject you into this world and still manage to hook you and give you emotions like the other 3 episodes. Never would expect that Adventure Time could have one amazing gift after 10 seasons and one beautiful and breathtaking ending, with a minsieries that from the first episode to the final one, would make me feel this many emotions and give such awesome stories. Thank you CN for an amazing gift to an arleady amazing show! *kisses* *claps.

17 April 2022
I haven't watched much nor seen too much of this series, but from what i have seen. It's definitely one of Mark's best projects by far. Never have seen something so beautifuly done, so strange, curious and fascinating. I'll definitely come back to it when i have the time to try and understand more about this big tale of space heroes that have to stop this gigantic worm-hole. And when i do i will definitely see everything there is to see.

10/10
A once in a lifetime experience, and an experience i will never forget.
9 April 2022
I'm writing this review at the same time i finished the final episode, and i am in shock at what i have just witnessed! Calls, is a series that i will never forget and it's one of those series that will also leave you speechles at the ending of the final episode. Everything was so well thought, from it's first episode to it's final episode, every episode left me intrigued at what could happen next, at what kind of crazy and surreal thing i would be needing to listen to, and what i was left with was something i had never expected to be this awesome! It might seem your standard lost and found audio tape series, but this is much more than what you think. I won't go into any of the details, because this is something you need to experience without knowing anything at all. I promise you, you will be glad to have experienced this surreal, weird but amazing journey.

A shocking episode
23 August 2021
This one absolutely shocked me hard. This is the best episode of the miniseries by far. It has all that i wanted from it, a good throwback to these characters, an amazing story, great and compeling characters and a shocking finale. By the end of the episode, i was absolutely shocked and paralyzed, that i could barely speak, that i wished tears would come out aswell, and was also left with so many questions. This episode is incredible... i really wished this was the final one. But even if it wasnt, holy hell this was beautiful. I cannot wait to see what they have prepared, in the final episode.
