Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022)
IM SMART! IM STRONG! IM READY FOR WHAT COMES ALONG! IVE GOT GOOD FRIENDS! WE'LL STAY TOGETHER TILL THE VERY END!
Gahhhhh I loved Bodies Bodies Bodies!! Reminds me so much of a gen z Scream but mixed with a filming style and energy similar to Assassination Nation. Although I loved the twist and the message, I wish the ending had more of a bang, that's my only complaint. Cast was fantastic but obviously Rachael Sennott took the cake here. She instantly brings so much energy to every scene. All the chemistry worked so well here which made it hard to tell who's intentions were true. The fact that the movie started with Daddy AF by Slayyyter and ended with Hot Girl (Bodies Bodies Bodies) truly made this my favorite movie of this year and a cult classic for me. See it IN THEATERS!!
Senior Year (2022)
Super fun nostalgia watch
With true 90's and 00's references I think some of these jokes would go over a younger audience's heads. It wasn't super memorable but it was a lot of fun to watch. The ending left a huge smile on my face. With tons of trash content, I'd say this is definitely worth the stream. Overall really fun movie.
Chad (2021)
Huh?? I think this show is hilarious
It reminds me of Pen15 and eighth grade but it's definitely got it's own vibe. Honestly shocked to see these horrible reviews. I hope it will gain a cult following overtime. I've already watched the show all the way through twice. It's cringe and awkward but that's the point? I think Pedrad absolutely nails this role and is clearly pulling from some of her own experiences growing up. I think sometimes in the beginning it's hard to really get into her playing a young boy but I feel like that's also part of the gag. Anyways, one of my favorite shows it cracks me up more and more each time.
Euphoria: Stand Still Like the Hummingbird (2022)
This is what the show is at it's core
With a pretty messy start to season 2, episode 5 narrows its focus back to the original heartbeat of the show, a young girl dealing with addiction and how it effects those around her. Could be the best episode of the series so far imo. Editing was extra fantastic this episode as well. This episode had me on the edge of my seat.
Hollidaysburg (2014)
I come back to this movie often
I saw this movie years ago and every so often I can't stop thinking about it and need to watch immediately. It's not perfect or anything ground breaking but it's really heartwarming and fun to watch. I love the chemistry with the main 2 character and it's a good message about how it's okay to grow away from old friends. Love this movie and I recommend.
Set It Up (2018)
Nah bc this is the best rom com in the past 10 years
A completely underrated rom com with perfect casting and so much heart. It's not as cheesy or cringey as the typical (especially Netflix original) rom com. They don't make them like this anymore unfortunately.
Pretty Smart (2021)
A refreshing Netflix sit com
This show breaks the mold of the usually stale and outdated format of sitcoms. Young adults will probably really enjoy this show. Found myself loving all the characters and I'm hoping for a second season.
The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)
Had so much fun watching this!!
I liked the sequel much better than the original. Loved the idea of them hopping around the lake getting chased. I'm definitely recommending to friends.
High School Musical: The Musical - The Series (2019)
What happened?
Season 1 was fantastic and it made me an instant fan. After patiently waiting for season 2 to get better, I ended up being pretty turned off by the show. I just found this season really boring and uneventful. Also why don't they even show the full musical that they work up to all season? Two extra episodes were added this season and I thought they did about nothing to add more to the storyline. They felt like filler episodes. Really disappointing because I loved season 1 so much. Probably won't be watching any more seasons.
