Deserves at least 7 for me. Already doesn't like the typical cliche horror genre of 1990s-2000s, also it is well enough even for today.

First of all, not a teen horror drama, no such vampires, lycanthropes, a "cool" antagonist, not based on complex teenager relationship issues.

I bet the most cannot guess the end which is consistent throughout the story and not sloppy.

Editing is successful, especially in the last runaway scenes.

Imagination logic is good, a bit cinematography step in.

Melissa Sagemiller was great. She and Casey Affleck captured a meaningful chemistry, really.

By the way, seeing the first experiences of Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley and besides maybe Luke Wilson, is the excellent part for me, makes me think how they developed

themselves in this field throughout the years and became amazing artists.

Give a chance...

Halston (2021)

This is not Halston... But crucially important that the show ensures to remind/know him...

I liked the cast, cinematography, musics; already Ewan McGregor and Ryan Murphy; but it was formed by many unfilled parts, lies, wrong focuses, and so on. (For example, there was not such a person stucked in air vent of Studio 54 that Halston ignored.)(A point, telling an influencial figure's life within name and saying "that's just a fiction" is sad.) Of course he may had a bad temper, stress, egoist acts sometimes like everybody. But rather than his talent, mind, brave, protective, generous, friendly, visionist, funny "real" personality, he is reflected more as a cool, selfish bad guy; as if his attitude through all the time.

We are talking about such a person whose patriotic purpose ensured his turn from high end to mass and caused his fall, whose ability is to make a layered dress with sharp angles without any seam in a single piece from a solid fabric just in a minute, who obsessed with the comfort of models in his dresses, who is the first minimalist fashion designer of America, who visited closed China with his team for a deal in fashion extraordinarily... He hadn't mentioned to even Liza Minnelli from his vital illness situation (But Liza was know). Pat Cleveland had offered him to leave all these stuff and go to Europe together when his works got worse, but he said he couldn't leave all that people working under him. He was a family man, at weekends he was meeting with his brother for a meal, took assorted dresses to his family, there are lots of people he helped to grow. Naeem Khan who dressed Cambridge duchess Catherine says he learned everything from him.

There are some interesting points of his life need to be catched...

Unfortunately there are no many productions about him. I am really grateful this project to ensure me to discover Halston. As a non American teenager, with this series I became curious about him.

Then finally I understood, he is the best🙏👏

Netflix series' grade is 7.5 that is almost completely formed by unfilled, insufficient material. This documentary focused on his real side, his ability, his professional history, not about his personal life that is mentioned just because rating. This project reflects the true, he was a good man. Not a toxic, egoist, grumpy, brutal fiction char.

Guys, it is not easy to find and arrange this archive, this people. I don't understand why there is a big pressure in comments. Producer mentions from the beginning about his interest in searching Halston and did this with an amateur style. Also a crucial note, this is the first cinematic project was made about Halston. It would be amazing to see Halston in more projects:/

Finally, I got beautiful memories, photos, videos and new informations, insights about great Halston. Good job. Thank you so much🙏👏 Don't miss!

Solid mind work. Any word to say.

Best cinematography, best original screenplay, best artists, best musics,...

I hope it would spread to all the world besides Turkey.

Leyla and Mecnun (2011–2023)

It was not a simple, time passing comedy. Always deeper, inside...

I never thought Leyla ile Mecnun as a simple, temporarily comedy. Always deeper, inside. What makes it legendary, you feel the atmosphere; emotions, looks, effects of cases, meanings, twists strongly. Also not a crying drama. Has a message of "hope, life goes on".

Musics/songs are really successful, fit completely. An important part of the effect comes from there.

There is a point for IMDB users those are not interested in Turkish social culture; jokes, musics, references, phrases, cultural structure may make to evaluate harder. But it is a good example reflects Turkish traditional society.

Is not there any point to criticize? Of course. In stage design it took the easy way out sometimes (e.g. See s2/e7, space scenes).

But it is my favourite, will be, always...

Story is turning into something else after the confession of Laurence. We don't know lives, efforts of each other to live. And many other ideas too can be emerged, obviously...

By the way, rating could be more higher, i don't understand. Always deserves 10/10.
