Digging to Death (2021)

Digging my Brain out.

Why? This is slow moving bore. It just didn't make sense. Where did all the bodies in the basement come from? Who is the corpse? Just scenes showing his unraveling, but why? Was it guilt or greed? If I found money, I wouldn't keep burying it. Also, the closet...once open he goes down and there are several bodies. Did he do that or the corpse? Not really a horror but a mystery since we don't know what is going on. I gave it one star since so many things wrong with the story, acting and everything else. Still don't understand why this was release. I hope this was straight to tv. Don't bother with this one.

Ok, this is not a horro movie. It's a put you to sleep, boring, no plot movie. Scenes just random with little dialog. No plausible reasons are given. But, they make sure to show several sex scenes, which give nothing to the story. The massive house, which only a few rooms are shown, does have a beautiful view. The creep next door neighbor gives no answers and is just there. I hope no paid money to see this. I watched it free on TUBI and I even turned it off. Save yourself some time and watch anything else. I have noticed several movies with the same name on IMDB. Another no name actor, bad plot, and absolutely no horror.

Gacy: Serial Killer Next Door (2024)

Just Awful

I know alot about Gacy and wanted to watch to see what Hollywood would do. There was 2 other movies done about him, but this one is more about the neighbors, so it makes if a fictional story. They got Gacy right as he was a serial killer, but his neighbors didn't suspect him of anything. So watching this, I am like the kid, Bobby, his parents are very old to be playing parents of a teenager. His mom, geez, couldn't stop looking at her oversized clownish lips. The father, another older actor. Gacy lived in a ranch style home, not a 2 story tudor style home. They really didn't show Gacy as he really was. Most of his victims were teenagers or young men he promised jobs to. This movie shows him just picking up male prostitutes. Also, Gacy had an accompliace which would bring people to him. So while this was a different spin, it still was awful.

If I Can't Have You (2023 TV Movie)

The beginning scene had nothing to do with the movie or they forgot to tie together. Typical same actors in these movies but exchanging roles. The main character is a cold hearted typical woman who has a man who loves her and she treats like crap. That is the new style of movies/tv shows now. The woman is masculine and "don't need no man" attitude. Awful acting from the main character and her side kick. All the male characters are painted as weak and the women as maculine. The story was awful. I gave it 3 stars for the house. Beautiful home with a nice layout. Eric Roberts this one is a good guy. Don't bother.

Acrimony (2018)

Good movie, but I disagree with devious for the husband.

Great movie, great actors. I was impressed with dialogue and flow. I disagree with this he was a devious husband. She didn't really believe in him and she dumped him. When his ship finally arrived, she is upset he is now sharing his good fortune with another woman. How does that make him devious? She on the on other hand was a pyscho. My opinion he wasn't a snake or devious at all. Just a guy with a dream trying to make it happen. I agree he should of been working to help pay bills, but she allowed that to happen. So she looks bitter and crazy. Not taking responsibility for the trouble and blaming everything on him seems to be the typical women now a days.

Ok, but Not Great

As I am watching this, I really hate the main characters. I wanted so bad for the victims to beat the crap or kill them. The cold and aloof demeanor is very ugly. 4 "kids" who feel it is just some game and do not care of the aftermath. I wanted the one woman to literally kill all of them, but then there would ne no story. It was a good story flow, but the characters make you feel nothing but hate towards them. Why are they doing this? Never is revealed. Are they bored or trying to lash out, we don't get to know that. I don't like the ending as the most ruthless one remains and has no fault or reprimand on them for the crime sprees.

Homecoming (2005)

Just awful

I didn't get this moviie at all. Too much jumping around and characters that have nothing to do with the story. No name actors, bad scenes that dont' make sense. Flash backs that don't make sense. I stopped this with 20 mins to go since I just couldn't watch anymore. This isn't horror, just stupid. Please watch something else and save yourself time. I figured out the "bad guy" and still can't figure out why he was doing this. Plot is just not there. Also, why all the shots of just someones hands or feet? Is this a fetish piece? The one couple role playing were thrown in for the obligatory boob shots which had nothing to do with the story.

Love Hurts (I) (2022)

Had hopes...those were so dashed. Typical dinner party/get money plot with 6 people and a very werid host. They kept showing a girl in a bathroom on the floor covered and tied up....we never find out who this person is or why. Little story line with no sense. Love the butler, but who is he really. The guy that is the host...sorry, but if ugly had a stick it would beat itself silly. The back and forth with the dinner party and police scenes were just terrible. I did like the twist, but the rest of the story is bland at best. I did get if 5 stars since I didn't fall asleep during this one. Love the house. If you are bored please watch it, otherwise do your nails.

One Night in October (2017)

I love a good horror movie. With October here, I love to watch a good scary movie. I have been exploring some newer movies. Today I picked this flick "One Night in October". Well, it was just awful.

It was the more than one story format that flipped from one story to the next. I had to use a note pad to remember who was in what storyline. As far as it being scary, um no. Gory? No, not really. Acting? Um, not really. I think these people were just doing a class project and decide to act out a play. The storylines were stupid and did not flow well. I was hopeful when I saw the corn stalks, but even then it fell short of a good movie. Save yourself some time and put in a classic. This should be a blopper real for a Progressive commerical.

Escape: Puzzle of Fear (2020)

Do not bother

Wow....another movie with no name actors, scenes that seem random and bad acting. It started off great, but then it went off in 3 different directions. I did only watch 20 mins of a 1hr 20 min film. At that point I turned it off they were not even at the escape room. Don't get what the crazy kid had to do with anything or the obvious domineering male lead over a immature girl who follow orders. I had to laugh with the "sex scene" at the beginning. Um, you are under the sheets taking it all in, but there is no movement, just a shot of the guy pretending to enjoy.... Sorry, I thought it was comical. Ok, then you got some pyscho women with a demented boss with drugs. Not sure how it all ended since I didnt' bother. So the first 20 minutes or 1/4 of the movie makes no sense. I feel bad for those who braved it out and watched to the end.

Stranger Within (2013 Video)

Not good at all

It started off alright, but then it started to become boring. They have this scene in the beginning with trauma to her, but the rest of the movie goes in a different direction as if it was a different story. The lead actress, sorry, but she needs sleep needs to stop doing drugs/drinking before her scenes. No one ones to see under eye bags. She also was terrible portraying her character. I figured out the plot, but this movie still didn't make sense. I guess we were supposed to be scared maybe? Not sure. The filming locations were beautiful. Just not sure about the uneven story line. Leaves questions and not the good kind.

Dragged Across Concrete (2018)

Liked it, but not the ending

Ok, this movie is 2.33 hours and I watched it all. Started off good, usual cop drama, but the movie has different characters that intersect. I understand why good cops go bad due to the restriction placed on them. See our judical protects the criminals even in the movies.

The banter between Gibson and Vaughan is great. Belivable and seemed to capture real life dialog in day to day situations. I was cheering for Gibson's character and wanted him to be successful.

But, but due to the fact that diversity has sucked the life out of entertainment, the ending was terrible. Seemed like the bad guys came out on top.

Human Zoo (2020)

The whole point of a contest is that someone wins. This was mind numbing and made little sense. The acting was bad as if forced. I fast forward for 80% of movie as it was just random shots of people in a room. The came and who was the winner? No one. People did the sign to be let out and they were not let out. What was the point of this movie? My guess is Hollywood is desperate so any feeble thought now becomes a movie.

There literally was no end to this movie. Please don't watch or bother. I am writing this as a public service annoucement to save others from the terrible movie. Please watch something else, even a commercial is better than this.

The Terrible Two (2018)

Not a Horror Movie

Oh geez. This was a terrible movie. The house was lovely, but didn't looked "lived" in. The actors, please even LMN would not hire them for one of theri cookie cutter movies.

I wanted to watch a horror movie, but I watched a lack luster film that was not a horror movie at all. What were they thinking?

Very little action, just a lot of boring no emotion words. I don't know which one was worse, the woman lead or the man lead. Go back to voice overs and learn some emotion when you speak.

After I go to the end, I realize how the girls died, since it was not revealed in the movie. One day they are looking at a house, then next day they are mourning their 2 daughters.

Just save you time and watch something else, anything else.

Premium Rush (2012)

It was ok , I guess

The only character with any redeeming qualities is Michael Shannon. I felt this movie was just not good. The story is just so, bad.

Not a big fan of Hewitt as he still looks like a 10 year old. His goofy smile crushes any hope for his acting skills. A bike with no brakes? Sure, that is normal.

The scenery is pleasant, but un realistic traffic patterns for a New York downtown street. Him flipping off his bike and flyling through the air would of caused more damage to him then just a few broken ribs.

I tired to get into the story, but I was not voting for anyone to win. If you want to watch a free movie, then you might enjoy this one. I didn't.

Blood Money (IV) (2017)

I was rooting for the bad guy.

This movie started off ok. Beautiful scenery and typical storyline. John Cusack carried this movie and did a wonderful job.

Lynn, I was hoping he would kill her or someone would kill her. But, since we are now in a society that has flipped all roles, no such luck. She was a manipulatvie selfish person with no thought or regard to others. I didn't like the ending of this movie at all.

She not only kills the bad guy, but her best friend as well. All for money, which wasn't hers to begin with. I enjoyed the movie till it got to the end then I am like what the heck.

I give it four stars as it was different. Ususllay you are rooting for the underdog, but I actually wanted the underdog dead.

Don't Blink (2014)

Not feeling it

Um, I was hoping for a little more excitement. It started off with some potentinal, but then quickly turned south. Stranded, not at the drive in but a mountain lodge...ok so far.

Then they just started to disappear and I am like is this movie about the rapture? No because they all would go at once. So when the guy got shot, I was finally relived for some action/horror, but no.

I want my 1:35 mins back.. This is not a horror movie. I guess maybe a thriller, but you have no closure of why or what it is. So I would tell you to save your self and your popcorn for another movie.

I gave it 5 stars because the scenes were beautiful and the lodge was very nice.

The Dinner Party (2020)

Just awful

It started off ok, but soon turned south. Just another stupid and awful movie. Nudity, doesn't fit, but it is there and not to forget the lesiban scene just to stay relative. I stopped watching after they beheaded the writer. Nothing made sense and was just a mismash of old movies put together. Didn't understand who the characters were suppose to be or why they were having a dinner party. The flash back scenes were to quick and didn't really show the audience what was really going on or why it was related to the storyline. I fell asleep and woke up to see them kill the guy. The charactes were full of self loathing and tried too hard to come across as clever.

The Stay (2021)

Terroble, terrible

I didn't finish it..Slow moving predictable with bad actors. The scenery was beautiful. Creepy caretaker, which doesn't do much for the movie. The one chick knew he was cheating and her and she didn't mind. Don't bother to stay here.

Tin Star: Come to the Edge (2020) Season 3, Episode 6

Not that great

Season 1 was great, unique and good pace. Season 2, um not to good but still ok. Season 3, what the heck? Sorry, this could of been a great ending to the series, but it was not. The plot, is there one? Just them going around killing everyone, but why? That really is not answered completely. The end? Not a good ending. I would rather of seen them gunned down, but jump off a building? Oh well the series is over with. It started out with great promise and ended badly.

A season 3?

Season 2 picked up where Season 1 left off. Nice to see they had original cast. Confused as in Season 2 we get some answers, but I want to know what happened to the characters that were not killed. Some continuity errors, but all in all it was a solid watch. l hope the creators will give us a Season 3 to close this story out.

Dracula (2013–2014)

It Sucked!!!!

The only highlight are the costumes. I agree with another reviewer the lighting was very bad. Some scenes were almost black. I know Meyers has quite a female following due to his looks. Yes he is good looking, but please the English accent was done with his Tudor performance. I half expected Anne Boleyn to show up. Some of his mannerisms were also done as Henry VIII. Also, terrible American accent. This I guess is just a series and not a regular TV show. So no second season...thank you.

Sorry, I love a good Dracula story. But the slow motion air fight at the end was funny. Maybe Meyers should stick to Henry VIII shows and or characters as he has no range to play any other type.

The character Mina, I agree also is not very beautiful. Not enough for someone to kill for her. Please just pay your actors and let NBC recast this. With a different lead, this might be more enjoyable.
