Netflix did us dirty
Great show, refreshing in many ways. Netflix canceled season 2 so there's no end to this story.
Mamoudou Athie's performance was monotonous and disappointing, truly the only thing I'd change.
Gladbeck: The Hostage Crisis (2022)
Incompetence
The documentary itself is put together really well and does a good job of telling the story.
The cops, though? And the media? Incompetent. Clumsy. Inept. So mind-numbingly inadequate. Cops don't care about their jobs at all, and reporters care too much for the wrong reasons. It was a circus, and everybody had their fun except the hostages and the criminals.
I'm horrified.
After Life (2019)
A masterpiece.
If you're looking for some hope or for something to make you feel a little less lonely, please watch this. Watching After Life will make you a better and kinder person.
This show is like a plea from our lost loved ones to keep going, to keep living and loving until it's our time too.
It saved my life. I'll never look at benches the same.
Thank you, Mr. Gervais.
The Woman in the Window (2021)
It's bad.
It's so, so bad.
It begins with promise then eventually leaves you wondering why you ever chose to see it in the first place.
