Dune: Part Two (2024)
Peak cinema, in the highest degree
I have debated writing a review for this movie for weeks now. I've seen it multiple times in theaters, and each time it has drastically altered the trajectory of my life. Not only have I become a Dune superfan (I'm already reading messiah) it has nearly taken over my life. I have never seen a film as creatively enticing. Every single scene sticks with you. The camera angles, the close up and then super far out shots, everything about this film is PEAK. With Hans Zimmer in charge of the music you already know you'll be brought to tears numerous times off just the soundtrack alone. Please, I urge ANYONE reading this review that's on the fence, see this movie as soon as you can. Let it take you over and change your life like it's changed mine. LISAN AL GAIB. For the Maudib. LONG LIVE THE FIGHTERS.
Rick and Morty: Unmortricken (2023)
Arguably the best episode I've ever seen
It's clearly obvious this season has been a step back from all the previous seasons. But wow. I'm speechless. This episode was perfect in a lot of ways. They re-introduced a character who's arc you thought was done. Rick finally fulfills his "purpose" in the world. You have to wonder, now that it's all over, what left does the world offer Rick? They even brought up in this episode about Rick killing himself. Food for thought. In all past seasons Rick has had a motive or something he's trying to do. This might be the end of that and could be a different arc we start to see for Rick. From the music returning from the past (when you know youll know) it was always a perfect episode. Really curious to see what direction Rick heads in going forward...
Nope (2022)
One of the best horror movies I've ever seen
This was simply put, yet another masterpiece out of Peeles playbook. Just go see it ASAP. Spend a few extra and see it in imax too. You will NOT regret it. Seriously just prepare yourself it's incredible. The sounds of people being sucked into ufos and clawing for the last moments of life. A murdering monkey which might be the most horrific thing I've ever seen on a screen (just wait). And plenty plenty more unreal things. No stupid jump scares like every other horror movie that they call great these days (conjuring insidious) all the same played out 1980s junk with better effects. This on the other hand is a masterpiece. I gripped my seat until the very end. Nobody has ever or will ever get horror down like Peele does. Masterpiece.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Masterpiece
I'm not sure if I've ever seen a better movie. Truly. I'm left speechless. No movie had more climatic moments than this one. Just go and see this please I beg you. I'm writing this from the theater.
Stranger Things: Chapter Four: Dear Billy (2022)
Brace yourself for the ending, it is highly emotional
Between the song playing during the time max is running out of hell. And the fact she knows she needs to be more open and loving to her friends. She needs them more than she thinks. It was so beautiful the way this was all put together. Truly one of my favorite episodes of television all time. I didn't like max as much, after this episode she's one of my favorite characters on the show. Cinematic beauty. Speechless.
This Is Us: Miguel (2022)
Best episode of television I've ever seen
The name of the song at the end is "so it goes" by Billy Joel. This episode had me crying my eyes out. Best I've ever seen by far. Watch it and you won't be sorry.
This Is Us: Day of the Wedding (2022)
One of the best episodes of television of I've ever
Not just the of the show, of television as a whole. I mean it. One of the best episodes I've ever seen. They time hopped, seems to be about 6-7 years ahead. Randall is called Senator, and we see Kates blind soon as one of the ring bearers and he appears 7-8 years old. Incredible how they implemented everything. Rebecca is much worse now, and before you understand the time hop it's slightly confusing seeing how bad she is. Things and life are speeding up and going by fast, as Randall says in the end, and all we can really do is just dance.
Only Murders in the Building (2021)
Selena is the greatest..
She's back like she never left. Hope she never sings again and just acts, she's a generational talent. This show is incredible, if you haven't watched yet definitely tune in.
He's All That (2021)
Only gets hate because of Addison
She's beautiful, tanner is awesome. Only reason people don't like it is because Addison is hated (I guess cause she better looking than 90% of people?) not quite sure why, but don't let it blind you. This movie is FIRE.
The Office: Valentine's Day (2006)
The New York guy looks like Zack efron
I made this account to make this review... that one New York guy looks so much like Zack efron just an older version. It's almost eerie.
Rick and Morty: Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate (2015)
Underrated episode
Not one of the best, but it shouldn't be compared to anything. This episode is better than any of the best episodes of any other animation. 10/10 when not compared to anything.
Saturday Night Live: Elon Musk/Miley Cyrus (2021)
The best episode ever aired
Since 1975, I believe I've only missed 3 SNLs, for reasons I wish not to discuss. This may just have single handedly been the best episode that has ever graced the air. Elon musk is unlike anyone they've ever had host it. I'll live and die by this show, and Elon as well.
